http://qbc.cryptoadhd.com has been updated to the new wallet.

Been a while Owlhooter  Grin

Happy you've updated.

Yeah, been busy with other things (doing some Dev work on MazaCoin) and hadn't been keeping up with QBC.  Unfortunately it looks like I sold most of mine while it was low.  But still hope the coin can do well now that it has more active devs.

Price has been slightly rising after fork and back within top 100 according to coinmarketcap. Hopefully we can keep interest in maza alive. Are there any plans to make the site look more professional?

Also I believe Rocketpool shutdown its maza pool.

Yes, we hope to make the site look more professional, and are currently looking for volunteers that are willing to do a new site design, if you have web design experience and want to help give us a professional look just let me know and if you have a sample that would be great.

united miners pool did not update wallet they run their own fork sad

United miners has updated their pool.  I also know that CryptoADHD, Suchpool, and hashfaster were updated before the fork, I'm sure some more were as well.

Minebig is on the correct fork as well.

owlhooter: Avg block time looks pretty solid. Great work. Thanks.

Yeah, I've been away since about an hour after the fork but was watching it all day, it looks to be flowing a lot smoother than it was before.

Looks like hamster is on the wrong fork too.  I contacted all pools we had listed on the OP and notified them of the fork a week before the fork.  So they had plenty of time to update.

And welcome to the fork everyone, if you still haven't updated your wallets, please do so now.

murraypaul ,stompix and perezoso I understand your concern. However in life as well as in business it is useless to look backwards. Let us be happy for the new dev team, possible new tribes joining, and the hard fork

that will keep the inflation in order.

Maza Coin has a price and a value, it is fairly small at the moment, but will begin to rise slowly.

50M coin premine is worth 10 BTC, or about $6500 -> this is still money - a new beginning from where we can start again.

I believe we should not take the Dogecoin approach and think one mzc is one mzc.

We should monitor mzc against gold, BTC, dollar, euros, coffee, bread, silver etc.. This is the essence of currency. Doge supporters can not hide the fact their currency value is decreasing. We also cannot hide the fact

that mzc has very modest value at the moment, and why should we? It's only 4 months old.

Actually that value is not true.
You have 6500$ of coins if the price keeps the same level while you sell all your coins.
It won't happen. You're looking more to some 4000$.

What's that? The average wage in a well developed country for 1 month?

Go to a shop in the US and tell me what can you buy for 10 000 people with 4000$.
You'll spend more on gas that the goods.

The same could be said of bitcoin 4 years ago.

That's some thing people don't understand.
From the start mazacoin had a value of x satoshi... based on what? Nothing.
It actually got the price purely based on how people thought mazacoin would follow bitcoin.

Bitcoin went through all the values from 10 000 a pizza to 1 btc =1000$ on demand and usage it didn't start at a value of x usd.
Mazacoin started from an arbitrary point and it's still on an arbitrary point based on no real usage just speculation.

So stop comparing any other coin with bitcoin.

I think you made my point.  MZC started higher due to speculation based on bitcoin.  It is still in it's price discovery phase as we work on adoption and usage.

BTC is 5 years old project with same "olderly" as MZC should BTC stay at 0,5 dollars ( almost same marketcap with number of coins) so there is really no difference

BTC is being used, and therefore has perceived value.
MazaCoin isn't, and so doesn't.

do you all listen yourself? Mazacoin is 3 months old project ( Bitcoin in that age had no value, nonone use it and noone care about it - 1 pizza take 10 000BTC itīs more than 1 000 000MZC compared about numbers of maximum coin so MZC have bigger value than BTC in that age ..wake up all)

BTC is the virtual currency, it has the history, the press, and what little adoption there is.
There are dozens, if not hundreds, of altcoins now, and no rational reason to think that any of them (or at least any of the simple clones) will ever amount to anything.
At the current price of 20 satoshis, the entire 50M coin premine is worth 10 BTC, or about $6500.
Why would a tribe, having decided to use a virtual currency in the first place, decide (acting rationally) to use MazaCoin, rather than just spending $6500 to create their own 'National Reserve' and 'Tribal Trust'?
The only point was the premine. The premine is now almost worthless. So what is the point?

And again we have the issue of people valuing MZC against bitcoin and the USD.  Mazacoin was designed to be used as a currency of a tribal nation.  If they can start using it  on the reserve they can make their own value for it in goods and services without equating it to BTC or fiat.  It will be how much MZC does a loaf of bread cost me.  At that point it can bring more value to other investors.  Not just as a quick dump to BTC and fiat.  Sure there will have to be a conversion rate somewhere for importing/exporting from the reserve, but if they are using it then value can come.  The Lakota are one of the poorest people in the country and this coin hopes to help relieve that poverty.

For your maza viewing pleasure we have a new Abe Blockexplorer online

https://mazacha.in

We will be making continual improvements to the site and infrastructure over the next couple weeks, so do expect some sporadic downtime, though it should be minimal.

We are running the new code on all of our nodes, and we expect to have pools available very soon.

For your mining pleasure, we'll have mergemining (with mazacoin as the parent chain for now), and other services, including a public p2pool node & a multipool, with maza payouts to come a little later. PPS, PPLNS, and Proportional payout pools will be available.

You can find our p2pool settings here. http://bitbin.it/aXYpatZc  I've attempted to use other settings found in these threads..but was unable to join a global pool. These settings may need tweaking, and I'm open. Our p2pool node is available today, and we'll move some additional hashpower over to it today. There are no fees to mine on our p2pool node. We mergemine on it instead. When we have a compatible payout system, we may offer p2pool w/ MM payouts.

p2pool.maza.club:14476 for peers
http://p2pool.maza.club:14477 for stats
stratum+tcp://p2pool.maza.club:14477 for your workers
 - username MZC address
 - password - anything

Our mergemining and multi pools will be open in the next couple day. Please contact me  if you would like to help test our pools - some are available today (if you don't mind the messy website!)

I can always be reached at guruvan@ShastaFarEye.net - PGP key in my sig.
We intend to direct a portion of our earnings to the Tribal Trust, once we're provided with addresses/mining keys for that purpose (owlhooter!)  Cheesy

The Tribal trust is available here MS5LqNWzrRo6DXzjXcafrCpWJL2NUXGRv5

Less than 5,000 blocks until the Hard fork, this is a MANDATORY update, please make sure you update your Mazacoin wallet to the newest version 9.0.1 which is available at the download links on Mazacoin.org as well as the first post of this thread.

I know this is probably cliche in most of the communities right now, but just remember, 1 MZC = 1 MZC, this currency was designed to be the currency of a nation and people looking solely to the exchange rate with bitcoin are looking at it wrong, the same as people who only look at Bitcoin as it relates to FIAT.  These are currencies that are meant to stand alone.  Now linking MZC to staple purchases, Flour, Sugar, Milk, etc, will be beneficial for the nations that choose to adopt MZC.
