21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DiabloMiner on Dual 6990 + 64Bit Ubuntu, Second GPU not working. Advice? on: June 19, 2011, 09:25:58 PM
DiabloMiner uses the -D option to specify which device it should use.

I do not have two GPUs so take my advice with a grain of salt... but,

Have you tried running *two* instances of the DiabloMiner, one with -D 1 (for the first GPU) and one with -D 2 (for the second GPU)?

Try running two instances of the program, once with DEVICE=0 and once with DEVICE=1.

Most pools also take the block's fees for themselves, in order to keep the pool running.
Is there any pool which takes only a percentage of those fees for themselves, or would that not really be enough to keep that pool running?
I'm entertaining the idea (so far just playing with some math about it) for a pool which kept to themselves only a percentage of the fees found in a block, and distributed the 50BTC *and* say 95% of the block's fees to all the contributors.

Hi all

Just started mining last week; discussed the topic with a couple friends and trying to see where this leads.
I've not yet found a pool I'm liking yet, but I'm gathering a bunch of statistics from each to make a good choice.
I'm mining with a new Radeon HD 5770 just purchased on Amazon (total cost ~£15 as I had already a voucher there).
Wish me luck.
