Mmmm, what's the output of:

Code:
git log -n1

Did you save the settings at least once after updating?
Just clicking on "save and restart miner" in the settings menu solved the infinite loading issues.

Hmm, that doesn't solve anything for me...

I'm on chrome 35.0.1916.153 m

I keep getting the infinite loop and it seems to come from this:

Code:
GET http://192.168.13.182/minera/index.php/app/stats 500 (Internal Server Error) jquery-2.1.1.min.js:4

It looks like this:

Code:
A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Notice

Message: Undefined property: App::$miner

Filename: core/Model.php

Line Number: 51

Mmmm, what's the output of:

Code:
git log -n1

This is the output:

Code:
minera@minera ~ $ cd /var/www/minera
minera@minera /var/www/minera $ git log -n1

Author: Michele <michele@befree.it>
Date:   Tue Jul 15 11:05:43 2014 +0200

    Upgrade script updated

Just doing a clean save(no changed settings) seems to have solved the issue though.

ok guys, I think I solved the problem with the infinite looping dashboard, just do a git pull/fetch:

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
sudo git fetch --all
sudo git reset --hard origin/master

Next time, please, try to open the web inspector (Firefox/Chrome) and look at the console error to find if everything is working well (in this case there was an error preventing the dashboard to terminate the refresh process).

Thanks

Cool man, headed to bed for the evening but will jump on this first thing tomorrow.

If I re-download the image, can I skip the Putty thing......I suppose I can figure that out but have never done before.

This is extremely simple:

download putty: http://www.putty.org/

start it up once you've downloaded it(no install required)

input the ip address of your raspberry and click "Open" at the bottom

now put these in one line at a time(beginner tip: copy the line and right click in the putty window):

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
sudo git fetch --all
sudo git reset --hard origin/master

and if you are on 0.2.3, please do also this latest one:

Code:
sudo ./upgrade_minera.sh

now do this to make sure it has updated:
Code:
sudo reboot

lets compare, give the EU suppliers websites so we can check if its true.....
It takes like 2 minutes of googling.

One store in EU selling for $9,5k (not 8,5 but much cheaper than MinerEu) http://www.minersworld.nl/webshop/litecoin/detail/47/a2-terminator-90mhs.html

https://www.usbminers.nl/60000-khash-scrypt-miner?tracking=52f3975d4810d these guys in EU have it for ~$7300

These guys from China can ship it to you for just a bit over $8k
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/In-Stock-90MH-Gridseed-A2-Terminator-90MH-Litecoin-Miner-28nm-Gridseed-G-Box-for-Scrypt/1035615_1886944497.html

If you consider this advertising just delete this post, I don't mind.

You do know that the $7300 is only 60Mh/s right?
so if you compare it to the 90Mh/s minereu sells it is actually a lot more expensive.

7300/60 = ~122 dollar per Mh
10200/90 = ~113 dollar per Mh

Minersworld is simply cheaper.
You will probably have to pay VAT or something similar for the chinese seller.

Hi, Thanks for providing this, we don't think it is our daatabase got hacked, but we think it could be something else with the hacker, it seems to have stopped. and we are investigating the email headers to see if there are anything at all we can find out.
it seems to have affected  a few of our customers, but not all, we are trying to find out which part could that be.

for those who got this spam email, have you contacted us recently ? i.e. through google group forum or through the contactus#minereu.com ?

I have contacted your pre-ticket system email and your ticket system email as well.

Hi, Guys

I have noticed some discussions and we would like to clarify :

1,  Regarding Email spam.  this is not known to us, and most of customers are not getting it, although we do see 5-8 customers are getting some spam. we are investigating where they might have get some of the email address.

2, regarding price : yes, we have a slightly high price, we are trying to adjust our price here.  the 8500 USD price is likely to be a scam unless it is from innsillicon  themselves. you can check with innosilicon and see how much they have it for.
we can tell you innoslicon is not prepared to lower the price , but they do have some move in the near future, not on price as far as we know, We would not be able to provide you with more at this time due to NDA.

I'm just going to say this: I suddenly started getting these spam emails which were from these names and addresses:
Minereu: <backup@mail.Minerereu-btc.info>
BTC-E: <buzz@nsphawaii.com>
Minereu: <buzz@nsphawaii.com>
no-reply@elance.com;

All their texts were basically like this:
Quote from: email
We attach you Information For New miner

we have only 3 items

thanks

administrator Minerereu.com
And an added .jar file which would probably copy your BTC wallet or install a trojan or something.

As you can see they are meant for customers of minereu(I don't have an account on BTC-e) so my guess would be that your database was copied by someone and that they are now sending spam.
These were also not picked up by my spam filter so apparently they did not come from blacklisted sources.

on the second point:
I personally know the guy that is selling these for 6999 euros and if he says he can deliver them for that amount then he can.
But I'm only some guy on a forum so buyer beware.

Edit: I read something wrong. 8500 is the US price so I can't say anything about that

Anyone buying the Blizzard Scrypt miner?  Are minereu still shipping / in business.  Seems a bit quiet

They stopped responding to my emails this weekend so I would be careful.
Add their sudden dissapearance from these forums and the junk they were sending their customers lately to that fact and do with that what you will.

Hi,  We were just not responding on weekend, that is all ?

You did on the previous weekends  Huh

Anyway you did respond to my email now so I will change my original post to reflect this.

@ipominer are the START withdrawals disabled? I requested a withdrawal a half-hour to an hour ago and nothing happened.
Also: START is on bittrex now so now you can add the profit calculations on the website.

What would cause this? So many scenarios impossible to pin point the problem. They're dead, not mining.

Are these voltmodded? I noticed the 1200mhz speed and now I'm wondering if it's possible to blow up your gridseeds if you overclock them too much.

A safe speed all gridseeds will work decently on is 850 mhz and just start editing from there.

Yes it does

@ipominer I just want to say you do an awesome job.

Here's why
- There have been some issues because of new coins (forks, PoS blocks etc.) but they have been solved professionaly.
- You generally make me a higher profit than any other pool.
- You are almost immediately available to answer questions here.

So just keep up the good work and don't worry too much about the "squeeky wheels" that say they don't like it. Most people who do like it just simply take your service and patience for granted Smiley

Is it normal to have a huge lag/delay in the withdrawal process for VRC?  I got my confirmation from ipominer for my first withdrawal two hours ago, and nothing has yet shown up in my Bittrex wallet, even in a 'pending' state.  I thought maybe Bittrex is hosed, so I created a new wallet in another place and made a 2nd withdrawal, and 15 min later nothing has shown up.  So I guess it's not Bittrex.

How long has it taken you guys time-wise from withdrawal to it actually hitting your exchange wallet?  Thanks.

p.s. i already sent a support ticket to ipominer

One of my transactions vanished as well. Normal time is 10-30 minutes so something clearly went wrong.

It seems there are some forking issues: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602041.msg6762787#msg6762787

Who is on the "right" fork? nobody knows yet.

This is a fairly common issue nowadays with the massive amount of hashing power IPOminer throws at coins.

It'll get resolved in one way or another. Untill then my advice is: keep your coins in IPOminer untill your first withdrawal shows up in bittrex or IPOminer says something about it.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: May 04, 2014, 03:26:14 PM
You are right, since the update the Website takes up to 10 seconds to refresh.
Not a big deal, but maybe this Information helps ipominer to improve Situation (maybe this lag has to be there for sth like ddos protection (entering the mintpal Website also takes a while while the browser is getting checked) or sth like that)

Yeah but after that first check it doesn't do that anymore and the pageloads are quick on mintpal. ipominer stays slow(5-10seconds per page).
Just to make it clear: I have the same problem and the pageloads were quick before the maintenance.
38  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HASHRA CONTROLA on Raspberry Pi for Gridseed on: April 18, 2014, 11:55:08 AM
I wanted to post a picture of the message I am seeing on the GUI when it locks up,  this may point to me having received trashy SD cards or possibly a corrupted image file on the cards.  I am going to use Apple Pi Baker to re image the SD cards to see if this fixes anything tonight.

I hope someone can help.

Card make and model: kingston SDV10/8GB

I get this same image on my pies but if I reboot them they simply won't start anymore. If I then remove power and read the SD card in a windows 8 laptop it is shown as a 2TB removable card in easeus partition master with a master boot record signature of FFFFFFFF so that is obviously broken.

Now if I try and have the software rebuild the MBR I get this message: "There are some errors occurred while writing sector on disk".
If I try to flash a new image onto it(with win32diskimager) I get the message that the disk is write protected.

Putting the card into a USB reader shows it as being 7.48GB in size(this is correct) and having a MBR signature of 55555555.
Nothing else changes.(still cannot write to it)

These have been running correct for one full week but after the last weekend the issues started.
This has so far happened to two cards on monday, 1 more on wednesday and now another one on friday so I would really like to know what is going on.
I already contacted kingston and they basically said that because I used the SD card in a raspberry they wouldn't be able to help me.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on/how to solve this?

Also if this is just the wrong model card or something: what do you reccomend?
39  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] ATX PSU to 2.5 or 2.1/5.5mm 12V coaxial plug power cables [New Product!!] on: March 22, 2014, 11:44:28 PM
Hi Cablez,
What is the safe amount of scrypt-only gridseeds to put on a molex line, as well as on SATA? I'm using a CX600.

I'm currently running 10 as:

6 on two PCI-e
2 on the molex line
2 on the sata line

Trying to see how many I can expand to. I know PCI-e can certainly take more. I can probably add a couple of Y splitters on each and get another 6?

Sorry to see you won't be doing these but I've learnt enough from you to do a good enough hack job by now Smiley
Thanks!

I would say that you could expand to 6 per molex 'chain' and the same for sata as long as the wire used by the PSU is 18AWG. Give it a look and see what the side of the wire says. If it is 20AWG shoot for 4 max per 'chain'.

This is with your assumption that they pull 10 watts right?
I finally got mine and I am now using an ATX power supply to supply them with power.
what I have noticed:

The regular power supplies really smell fishy/burning.

The gridseeds pull about 8 watts(measured directly on the cable) at 850 clockspeed with the fan on. Without the fan you will probably decrease that to about 6 watts.

The raspberry pi (controller) can also be powered from a molex adapter: just cut open a USB cord and attach the wires correctly.
The USB hub I got uses 5V so you can also power this one by hacking together a cable based on a molex connector.

So according to your question:

Check the wires
If it's 18AWG you can safely pull 60 watts leaving you 20W headroom/safety margin.
So that amounts to 7 units at 8W.
Or 10 units at 6W.

If it's 20AWG the safe wattage is lowered to 40W now with 18W safety margin.
This amounts to 5 units at 8W.
Or 6 units at 6W.

Hope this helped.
40  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] ATX PSU to 2.5 or 2.1/5.5mm 12V coaxial plug power cables [New Product!!] on: March 21, 2014, 01:26:11 AM
How many units can 1 pci-e cable power safely for scrypt mode?  Also how many can you power from molex?

If you are looking to be conservative I would say 60w per wire pair within the PCIe connector. At roughly 10w per device that is 6 units per wire pair and 18 units total, conservatively. It is possible to go up to 80w per wire pair but that just stresses the housings, pins and wires and will yield lower MTBF rates.

Looking at a molex 'chain' there is only a single 12v wire pair to be utilized there but it is shared. This is going to limit you to 60w on the entire 'chain' (usually 3 molex plugs and a floppy).

Hope that helps.

Hey Cablez I've got a question:

where did you come up with the 60W per wire pair?
all the documentation I can find says PCIe spec is 2.3 amps for 18AWG wire so at 12V that would be about 25W per wire pair.

I hope you'll reply to this because I would like to make the monster from my previous post Smiley
40 units on a 450W PSU Smiley

No cablez cablez makes me sad but it gives me a challenge by doing it myself Smiley
