The problem that i know in the ICO nowadays is the false project where they just create an ICO to gather some funds from the crowd but those crowd didn't know that the ICO is fake and the project is just for scamming and stealing money from them and because of that problem it stole a lot of bitcoins and ethereum from people.
Is there any way to detect scam projects? If you have some tips share it here please. All of them have good advisers, whitepaper seems legit and a lot of people invest on that, so how can we find out this is fake or not!? In fact, I think there is no way to detect phishing projects, most ICOs hide the information about their headquarters, the only information we have. They can find out who their team is, and it is not enough to confirm anything about that project. |

Is there any method to study the potential of a coin? Is it by look at it whitepaper only or do i need to understand the objective of those coin? Because there are too many alt coin with the same capability i.e untraceable transaction etc. Any comment guys?

A documentary here in the Philippines entitled: FAILON NGAYON have exposed Bitcoin as a type of scam.
It goes like this: a callcenter agent guy invested on one of the sh*tcoins here. He invested a fair amount of money into it as a promise projection of 50% gain for about 3 months. After 3 months have passed and he was about to withdrawn the money, support system from that UK based comoany was suddenly became unresponsive.
Financial analyst said that bitcoin is being used by some scammers to phish for money from users through untrusted sites.
I think that due to anonymity, it is very hard to track down those people who uses bitcoin for scamming.
For me, I think you just invest amount ofnmeny that you can afford to lose. Secondly, just transact with secured sites and not fall for get rich quick schemes because most likely thisnis a scam.
What are your thoughts on this?
But right now, the value of bitcoin continues to go up quickly, do you think this is a paradox? I really do not understand why the bitcoin constantly goes up, it makes me worry about its unstable future. |

Don't you think that the problem of ongoing and upcoming ICOs is not the quality of projects (certainly there are scam projects, but there are also a great deal of really working projects backed with technology) but the problem is in the quality of investors who don't really make their research and mostly even don't care do read anything about the project they are going to invests in. They are in rush to buy any altcoins because it seems to be an easy way to make money for them.. What do you think?
I think there are too many ICOs out there that make it impossible for investors to find out about the projects, since they feel confused, they can not know where to invest. . It's like finding a bird in a forest. |

If I buy for example $1,000 of a coin at $0.01 I will get 100,000 coins which I can sell at $1.00 making me $100,000  OR I can buy $1,000 of a coin at $0.10 I will get 10,000 coins which I can sell at $10 making me $100,000 You see, it's simple So, which coin I buy? since bitcoin is bullish as of now, it is safe to say that we must be cautious this time, since bitcoin gold is already hyped and most new investors today are just planning to get their hands on bitcoin gold knowing that it is free cash an then they will but a lot of bitcoin gold using the profit they have gain from the rally of of bitcoin, just like what had happened in august, after bitcoin cash, the value of bitcoin fell, since they did profit taking and there was a lot of FUD during that time, and this time for bitcoin gold, it is not an exception, since the trend seems to be repeating, however, the price of bitcoin will not go down below 4000 usd just like what had happened before, i think the price of bitcoin will go down around 5500 to 6000 usd before the november's fork and then will have a true correction, as of now, with the bull run of bitcoin, i do agree it is a bull trap, that's why we need to create a new strategy on how we can win with this situation. hopefully the price of bitcoin can breach around 7000 usd with this bull run,before bitcoin gold, though it is only a few days left, we can never tell, since the volatility of bitcoin now became more and more active, and what we need is a lesser volatility for a correction, and from what i see, bitcoin's high volatility will continue until the end of the month.

I think Bitcoin isn't changing the world, it's just changing the financial life of its adopters, especially those who are holding since the beginning of Bitcoin.
