21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: May 04, 2020, 07:38:53 AM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

I perfectly agree with your opinion. But considering the fact that one could invest over 3 months promoting a project and still get nothing out of it, it's wise to promote for a lesser period of time.

I've come to realise that there's no perfect indicator for a good project. We only look out for some key indicators, but that doesn't guarantee anything. To be on a safe side, it's best to also consider the duration of the bounty before making a decision.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does marketcap value shows the coin price stability? on: May 03, 2020, 06:07:19 PM
Coin market cap cannot guarantee the price stability of a cryptocurrency, at best the prices the tokens are traded across several exchanges are shown and this would be helpful for decision making. Price stability is quite a difficult case in the cryptocurrency market owing to the fact that the major determinant of prices is the forces of demand and supply.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: May 03, 2020, 11:45:39 AM
One thing I've learnt from this space is that, it's unwise to rush into anything. Downloading a wallet address could seem very harmless from a distance, but one still needs to be very careful and ask questions or carry out some research. One easy way to detect fake wallet is to check the number of downloads and always download wallet, only after verifying that the wallet is widely used and a substantial number of people have downloaded it.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy some alt? on: May 03, 2020, 07:19:25 AM
Im sorry, what do you mean by "halving event" and what it relate to do with bitcoin prices that are rising now ?
I also saw bitcoin also the up trending in this week but dont know why

Bitcoin halving has to do with the number of new bitcoin released per hour. As it is widely known, the total number of Bitcoin created is 21 million, meaning that, at best, we can only have 21 million bitcoin in circulation. The halving event was incorporated to checkmate inflation and ensure that the value of Bitcoin is always on the increase.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 20000 pieces of Bitcoin wreck the market sounds annoying on: May 02, 2020, 01:33:28 PM
The few years I have been in touch with the value of Bitcoin, I know that the market is moved by the forces of demand and supply. This explains why cryptocurrency is said to be highly volatile. Dumping thousands of bitcoin is certainly going to affect the value, but that would be short lived.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: May 02, 2020, 11:55:27 AM
It's a great idea for one to make some research before joining any bounty program. There are several dead projects which are still listed on exchanges and one may never know until some time is taken to ask or make research. It feels really good to be reminded that bounty hunters need to be careful and very watchful before joining any campaign.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is it , it's the end of cryptos on: March 20, 2020, 02:26:22 AM
It's only a newbie that can make such an outrageous conclusion. It's obvious you're still new to the industry and not used to the volatility of the market. The value of Bitcoin has dumped much more than what it has presently and the value has bounced back. It only takes some time and patience to get the best out of this industry.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 18, 2020, 04:16:07 AM
There's a possibility that the corona virus epidemic contributed to the fall in prices, but it's not the reason for the fluctuations in the value of Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency industry is highly volatile, so prices swings at their extremes and people who are impatient could make drastic decisions.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Exactly Caused The New Drop Of Crypto? on: March 15, 2020, 01:32:47 AM
There could be several reasons for the drop in value of cryptocurrency, but one of the most obvious reason is because of massive sell out both by whales and other small holders. The point is that some persons would fall for the bait when they see whales selling out and the prices falling. Another reason for the decline could be because of the corona virus epidemic which has been causing panic and pandemonium in the world presently.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best time to fill the bag? on: March 14, 2020, 03:38:43 AM
The downward trend of the market is indeed disturbing. I'm unperturbed because I know its a norm in the cryptocurrency space. In fact we are all aware that one of the most pronounced characteristics of the industry is volatility. Some persons are of the opinion that the reason for the massive decline is due to the issue of corona virus. I'm yet to understand how corona virus was able to affect this cryptocurrency space to this extent.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More Damages to Crypto Market on: March 13, 2020, 02:28:47 AM
If this Coronavirus of a thing continues like this then do not expect anything good from Bitcoin halving in May or after May because it seems Bitcoin will keep going down from now on, damn no one saw this coming either way, I never expected a new virus to change the fate of Bitcoin and crypto market this year, the very year I've been waiting for, so sad  Undecided

I don't understand why we tend to attribute every reduction in the value of Bitcoin to something negative. In my opinion, it's not always the case. Infact volatility and instability are attributes of the market and when we see such, we should know that the market is just being herself.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: March 13, 2020, 01:55:18 AM
The major reason why we have an influx of worthless coin in the cryptocurrency space is because of the ease in creating smart contracts. We all know that smart contracts can be created with little or no technical knowledge, couple with the fact that one only have to pay very little amount for gas. This has given everyone the opportunity to explore and unscrupulous individuals are using the opportunity to take advantage of the investing public, flying several ICO projects to deceive the public.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: December 03, 2019, 03:41:19 AM
It's rather unfortunate that cyber criminals are always a step ahead devising means for their victims. The only way out of this impending danger is to be very careful of the links clicked while browsing and use a good anti virus that could prevent the installation of these malwares.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: December 02, 2019, 12:03:39 PM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it

Investment in cryptocurrency comes with some extent of risk and that explains why it's unwise to be on the look out for quick money because that doubles the risk exposure. Some persons invested in pump and dump schemes which went wrong and lost out substantial amount of money. Its better to consider the validity of the project and the value which it provides before committing funds to avoid loses.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Bounty Platform for Crypto Lovers on: December 02, 2019, 01:27:39 AM
Am personally not using the platform, but on going to the writeups on the thread, I must confess that the platform seems interesting and I would love to check it out. The nature of the task in the platform is unique and that would be attractive to bounty hunters.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: December 01, 2019, 12:29:49 PM
When there's a hacked wallet, in most cases its usually due to the carelessness of the owner of the wallet. I remember my XLM wallet was hacked and my tokens withdrawn. The hacker had access to my account because there was no 2FA on the account. I only used a password which wasn't strong enough and must have been easily guessed.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 30, 2019, 04:36:21 AM
On my arrival into the cryptocurrency space, I heard several news on the market trends of several cryptocurrencies especially the bitcoin. I heard of how the value has increased over the years and how fortunate it would have been, if one has invested in the coin and waited for the perfect opportunity to sell. It sounds so exciting to be among the early birds in the industry. On my investment in the industry, I must confess that its a very difficult decision to hodl, especially when you're not sure of the next pump and the possibility of the project demise.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: November 28, 2019, 04:24:52 AM
On the other day, I think of the use of stable coins. I mean, when can we use Stable coins as an alternative fiat. You see when a bull run comes and everyone will start to sell their Bitcoins and some other coins into fiat the network will be congested.

So I think if we buy Stable coins with some stable volume, we will no longer need to worry about unable to sell our bitcoin into fiat.
Rather we only need to do this thing right? is this some acceptable alternative or no?

I can personally say that stable coin like USDT is a great alternative for fiat. This is because the USDT has stood the test of time and conquered several Obstacles and challenges at several occasions. I trust that the USDT would serve when am unable to exchange my tokens for fiat and want a way out
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you have done? on: November 27, 2019, 01:58:09 AM
If I have the opportunity to witness the trend of 2017, in this year 2019. I would make the best use of every resource at my disposal to ensure that I make a whole lot of money. Since, I have a vivid picture of the alts on various cryptocurrency, I'll would buy low and sell when the alt is near.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 26, 2019, 04:32:34 AM
I believe the major necessity that would bring the cryptocurrency world to limelight is massive adoption. More persons need to be aware of this industry and this could only be achieved when the government starts supporting the industry. The technology that this industry brings would contribute immensely to the society.
