if $399 price stands, will be the best gpu card your money can buy to mine anything. Where I live you can't find polaris for less than $320, so nobody is buying them. The best idea right now is wait for volta but that is in few months yet.
Volta in a few month will be economically not profitable - but it will outperform everything... price for 1070ti will be over 400$

I received first stake coins today but really weight of network is very high is this in relation to MN test from DEVs?
Actually the network weight is lower than 2 days ago -so there should be more blocks in the past 24 hours - but the weight will rise soon... and I think in the next 24 will get back to what it was 2 days ago... could be related to MN testing, but given the total money supply is ~86000 (excluding premine which is not staking) total coins staked at 30000 is good compared to 45 000 36 h ago

Everything is announced on Discord, join us there. We have an active & helpful community there. No, thanks, I don't want additional register-required service to use. You've started this thread here so it would be very kind of you to post all needed information here. Hey rednoW, just wanted to share with you on Discord - it doesnt require the reg - that is the beauty of it - really low friction - so regardless of this coin I encourage to check Discord out...

Thanks ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I think DEVs were busy last night with Roadmap and wallet release + they where testing some MN functionality around 8 hours ago (I think they claimed that official pool was involved) and that is way payout was a bit messed up (again everyone who reached 2 Lux was paid as usual)

Why http://pool.luxcoin.tech isn't paying every 3 hours... my last payout was 18 hours ago and I have a total unpaid balance of 0.60973581 LUX? for some reason the threshold today is 2 Lux, you can go to discord and ask devs or wait until you will have more than 2 lux on balance - after that it will be payed in 3 hour (depending when you will reach 2 Lux balance) Ok... but this is not what pool says... it says clearly: "Note: Minimum payout for this wallet is 0.01 LUX" I think it isn't good to cheat people this way... I'm mining only to give my little help to the testnet because my GPU isn't so powerful and if I had knowed that limit was 2 LUX perhaps I had chosen other pool with low limit... You don't missunderstand me... I think this is a good coin and I'm waiting to one exchange get listed it in order to buy some, but I don't like when people write one thing in the official page and after change that rules in discord without saying anything to the rest of people... At least this is my point of view... Sure, I get you - just to be clear: 1. it's been reported to the DEVs 2. this issue happened today - previously pool was paying as stated( 0.01 Lux), personally I think it will be fixed soon

Why the luxexplorer does not show the last wallet transactions?
seems to be lagging - need devs to look at it...

What is happening ? developers have connected to pos? Quote from discord channel - "Just lets be clear - DEVs total staking was 72 Lux (36 blocks - correct me if I'm wrong here) for the entire period of time, and the one guy who was paid 10 000 earned ~930 Lux for 3 days ( his address http://explorer.luxcoin.xyz/address/LVWXqtCKCeB9qj6PJ5cPrCK8P8mCygpRq9 - just mined POS block 10 minutes ago) total coins presently staking ~43 000"

I have to open my wallet all the time to get stacking?
Not necessarily, especially if you have no mature coins yet. In the later version of the wallet one of the features will be "Cloud POS"
|
|
|
All of us who mine on official dev pool got rewards, 10LUX I think is minimum, some of my friends got more because of better hasrate and more time mining on this pool.
which pool? name, pls. The testing is over and no rewards are currently issued - you need to be on official discrord and monitor general thread and announcements to see if there are testing opportunities available

|
no win version for the new wallet can someone compile and post it thanks
Its not out yet - what is at github is the daemon for the pool owners not a wallet

Thank you. It's really good news. I hope, it will fix problem with POS. I sure, a lot of holders have same problem, besides me.
What is the problem that you are having with POS? Orphans blocks (conflicted blocks)? I had 4 of these but that is nothing unusual with POS

All payment from pool to my wallet are marked as incoming transactions, but few marked "mined" and has current amount 2.0000003 LUX Who knows what's this?
POS blocks that you mined with your wallet balance

this POS makes me happier ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I still don't understand the algorithm, but it feels good How many coins should I have in my wallet for POS? What settings? Any amount of coins. Just keep wallet open it is open from the first day. Maybe in the settings that you need to click? When do you receive your first transaction to that wallet? (it needs 36 hours after you receive it to start staking process )

What settings? Any number to make it work - but it needs to be in your wallet for 36 hours to start POS, there is also difficulty involved which affects how fast your coins generate a block (2 lux) currently there are 1000 lux participating in staking (POS) and if you have 15 lux it needs 4 hours to produce 2 lux

I'm not a mining. But in my wallet stably drips 2 LUX. And sometimes a little more. Where does it come from?
Its from staking - you have some coins in the wallet and these generate income..

POS CLARIFICATION From the Discord Channel
The normal LUX 50% POS is Static, not dynamic. The difference is dynamic is a 50% per year in your wallet reward. The Static POS 50%, is 50% of the Current Block Size. So for every block that is mined=10LUX, there is a POS reward of 5LUX (since we are in the bonus time it is actually 10LUX). Which means, having your wallet open and staking is a great way to increase your coins.
hmm...Static? i think is not good. because is very easy to increase coins only for miners that have big power. seems like an abuse because they can clone they coins in big quantity. You are the miner (entity keeping network going) if you'll have coins (buy, trade, swap, mine etc) - its just you wont need GPUs when you get coins.. Question to DEVs - what is masternode total award per day
|
|
|
#1 has some bugs, thats why I always update my miners and give out new versions with more speed and fixes..
O rly? Why don't you release a bugfree Nexus #9 then? Same here nexus #9 is crashing, 8.2 doesnt find blocks..

I am patiently waiting! Looks great!
appreciated ... #crysx Hey Crysx, Please check your PM - want to bump the hashrate on the pool
