21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Korean Polkadot Alliance on: February 08, 2021, 01:03:17 AM
Were they paid by Polkadot to form this org and conquer Korea?
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) derivatives data suggests traders expect prices above $2,000 on: February 03, 2021, 01:41:58 PM
Ethereum has so much potential, that $2,000 is not even considered as an exaggeration of what their future price will be. There's about $4.5 billion staked for ETH 2.0 and if things go smoothly on the development side, we could be looking at more than $2,000.

Continuous improvements like what Ethereum is doing is what's making it so successful, and potentially (I don't wanna say exceed Bitcoin, but the sky's the limit of ETH). That's why I appreciate projects who are going for the same route, similar to how Polkadot has helped power STP 2.0 and enable the issuance of cross-chain tokens in their ecosystem. That's a huge boost right there, especially that DOT is moving close to its ATH (It validates the work that they do)
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What the Bittrex Privacy Coin Delisting Means? on: January 07, 2021, 08:35:35 AM
Thankfully there are DEX's. Dex's will allow people to freely transact, exchange without the interference of politics

All these will just push more and more people to DEXs and make DEXs a much better place to trade since you don't have to KYC and wait for 2 weeks to set up an account.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: +22%! Bringing NAV back to the spotlight with NavCoin Core 6.0 release on: December 19, 2020, 08:13:26 PM
This token had remained silent for a very long time with continuously stable dumps (as I've only noticed this token when it was listed on Binance in 2018) and has since didn't recover back. I'm happy to see that it's at least making a few bucks to some people while it was a (nightmare) token which ate my BTC0.1 that I invested in this token in early 2018.

They're lately making moves, and hopefully a big 2021 with xNAV and their upcoming mobile support.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XEM migration to Symbol phase 1 begins, price eyes $0.17 on: September 26, 2020, 11:10:43 PM
Where can I read more about the tokenomics of their migrated token? Would love to learn more about it before trying to acquire a bit of XEMs.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Participating in the launch of NEM+Symbol: 1 XEM = 1 XYM on: September 15, 2020, 08:38:34 PM
In December this year, NEM is launching the Symbol public blockchain. By opting-in, XEM holders will obtain an XYM balance equal to that of their XEM balance at the time of the Snapshot.

$XEM is currently ranked 22 in CMC.

Is it worth buying XEMs to get their new blockchain business coin 1:1?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins to mine/ premine? And new/old masternodes to share? on: September 12, 2020, 08:14:56 PM
Not really coins to mine, but a new altcoin worth checking is NEM's (Top 21 CMC) upcoming new business coin. They give 1:1 for every XEM you hold.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HuobiJapan listed NEM ahead of their new token launch - XYM on: September 12, 2020, 08:00:40 PM
My XEMs are on NEM Wallet+ 1.0.72 mainet (111). Is It compatible to send my XEMs in the snapshot or do I have to do any updates? If It is compatible how do I send them to exchange for XYM? Can you guide me please. Thank you.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Owned TIDAL Purchased $7 Million Worth of Sensorium Social VR Platform on: September 01, 2020, 08:41:20 PM
SENSO, a VR token is suddenly in the spotlight following a $7 million purchase from TIDAL — global music and video streaming service co-owned by Rihanna, Daft Punk, Lil Wayne, Chris Martin, and Calvin Harris.

Will this news with huge music celebrities help drive more people to crypto, or will it have the same impact of celebrities promoting crypto last 2017?

Source from Bitcoinist

People already learned from the celebrity controversies in crypto way back 2017. We all know better now.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delegated harvesting lets you passively earn block rewards on-chain. Possible? on: August 12, 2020, 02:02:51 AM
So, do you have to hold some XYM's in order to harvest?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCal Shows Hidden Gems? on: August 04, 2020, 10:30:47 PM
Probably more than 50% are manipulated news. Though some of them are really hidden gems, its still worth investing your time on DYOR.

I would rather go check all these top 30 coins in coinmarketcap and see if they're developing a new coin underneath it. An example is Symbol from NEM, since their predecessor is successful, they will most likely be the same thing.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tencent Builds Blockchain Platform for China’s Oldest Wine Producer on: August 04, 2020, 10:25:19 PM
Tencent is huge, and because of this movement, we may see a major game operating on blockchain too.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANY NEW ALTCOINS WITH MARKET PRICE OVER 100 SINCE 2019. on: July 25, 2020, 09:43:22 PM
Very rare and it is extremely hard to break into the $100 mark. I think that for most of these coins, its very early to expect them to go over $100 but we do know their use-case is legit. I'm holding on to Cardano (Coz of ETH), and NEM since they are moving into solving real-world problems, and this can drive their token price crazy. They're starting to enter the business world and solve issues with traceability and fraud, which is a very big issue right now.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What more can a project teams wish for ??? on: July 25, 2020, 09:33:32 PM
A good example of strong project teams are those who are staying on top of the leader-boards. This means that they still took care of their platform and continued to deliver their promise after a successful ICO.

The likes of ETH, NEM, Litecoin, etc. and their teams are very admireable and should be the role models for startup projects to learn how to handle management. This is also why I'm all in with any projects they're launching underneath their brand, an example is NEM's XYM. I'm holding my bag with XEM's preparing for their 1:1 airdrop in Q4.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM (XEM) Marks Improvement Amidst Volatility on: July 25, 2020, 05:06:30 PM
Is NEM one of the good coins to hold during this altseason? And should we buy more?
NEM/XEM is still maintaining its position to the top 50. Buy more if you think that you've got to support NEM and it's still active as before. If that symbol you are telling is going to be their next thing. I have nothing to say with that as most of the projects are building their next trend so that the community will still support them and won't leave them behind. That's what the projects are doing lately but I think for established ones like NEM, they are far to worry for that scene.

That's what I'm thinking of too. NEM is already established and their new token will most likely succeed too.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of blockchain-based enterprises: Pluggable private network? on: July 20, 2020, 01:24:16 PM
Very interesting to see how their token will play out on launch. They already have companies using them prior to their launch, and will have a 1:1 airdrop for all XEM holders.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tagging your products on the blockchain for traceability. on: July 19, 2020, 11:43:57 AM
Very interesting that they can maintain their branding/app name and still use all the benefits of Symbol too.
https://symbolplatform.com/latest/a-deep-dive-into-businesses-using-symbol-luxtag

If Symbol can maintain this flexibility where people can integrate the APIs from Symbol into their existing system flawlessly, then this is very valuable to everyone.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How effective can blockchain be in healthcare during this pandemic? on: July 16, 2020, 09:20:38 AM
It can be very useful, imagine the speed and all other benefits that people can get from blockchain,, it will be very useful, even cost-wise

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wine company using blockchain to eliminate fraud and secure authenticity. on: July 08, 2020, 09:26:28 PM
Why won't people build it on the Ethereum blockchain anyways?
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Cannabis company in Colombia using blockchain for their crops. on: July 06, 2020, 06:34:27 AM
This is huge, glad that NEM was able to pull this partnership off. This can bring huge potential for their token, especially if started to enter other industries and not just cannabis.
