Agree with a lot of the posts. At the very least change thread title to *Looking for developer*. Something to help the cause.
As with what BrookeFinancial said, my worth in Supercoin is very little now compared to my other holdings, I've learned a lot about the crypto scene, and how to 'play the game'. I still think there is great potential behind Supercoin, and I will check back often to see if new development has taken place. It's a shame, as a community there was great excitement before the release of Phase 2. I was hoping we'd all hit the crypto jackpot, and could celebrate our earnings.
I wonder though, should we create a thread in the main Alt-coin forum at least? I mean, there are plenty of new coins created, maybe a potential Dev would see this as opposed to creating a new coin. At this point is there anything to lose? I don't care about FUD, it's basically kicking a man while he's down at this point. I guess the main problem is having the Dev hand over code. But would we all be willing to trust a new Dev on the scene? Most already qualified devs have their own projects, so it may be a long waiting game..

I support this. I'd be willing to trust a dev with a previously proven track record. Not just any ol' shmoe. Though, when this eventually goes open source, trust will be less of an issue... ... so how are you planning to pay a dev with proven record? or you think they will come running to work for free? I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. good luck!! My friend is now in school and he learning jav, c, c++ almost all his life. I will ask him too look at all this stuff. Maybe he can somehow help.  And, yea we definetly need new thread that will be holding updated a group of people. So if somethings happens others can continue editing thread.. |

My math not really good but.. Even if people will buy 5M of coins..And rest will be destroyed, so price will be much higher, dont understand why is there so small buy support.. Maybe you need more morketing and spamming to the world?
Most coins right now are falling below ICO prices, even good generation 2.0 coins with new code and innovations. It's harder to convince somebody to go into what is clearly a BTC fork with a PoS high interest. This isn't really much different than Zeit Coin from a year ago that had 25% interest and then pretty much died. Maybe some people are buying this coin because it's started by a Czech guy but there's already two Eastern European coins called Crypti and NODE which are new code and are promising more things than this Equinox. Maybe our currency is not innovative. But this does not mean that it has no right to exist. We spent a lot of work on this project and now offer people a lot of ideas for development. Primarily our currency is designed for marketing. THANKS! @TaunSew for your really usefull comment. I have already bought some EQX coins. I expect price to go lower, then buy more. @EQX Dev, good answer I like your work that is the reason i want more your coins. Even if this isnt nothing super new, i just like it. I wasnt been here for month or two. I bought few thousend Supercoins on 2-3k satoshi. Now its on 400 satoshi  i lose my money but i think its time to buy more. Really nice looking work, hope i am right. |

Yea, without even checking the source even once. Its that "ooh, something new, lets make quick money"-people. Let them go Yep, let the dummies walk off the cliff. It would take something very worthwhile to get everyone to replot their drives. with gpu is easy to replot, not for me because i've sold them all lol, but the point stand OR, we could just make a plotter/miner in C for BURST. AND/OR remake the wallet in C if that's a super huge deal to everyone. I say why not make the existing coin better, rather than cloning it? Add the features you would like to see, to THIS coin, rather than making a whole new coin just for some features that aren't here. We have the groundwork, we have the good coin, we have people with petabytes of plots, why stop now? Forge ahead, create new tools, make changes, upgrades, fix things! That's how we do it. Then we get some PR out here, and suddenly people aren't complaining about the prices anymore, and real investors get interested. This is all it takes. I am helping where I can, and my dev friend has already made a windows GUI for burst for the newbies, since plotting and mining is a whole new style, and many are having issues figuring it out. YEs, there may be bugs, yes, right now it's only solo (we're working on that right now actually) and yes, there will be plenty of changes and upgrades, based on what people in the community want and need. But this is what we have to continue doing, we have to continue making burst a commodity, something that people actually want, a coin that's easy to setup and mine, and something that's worth buying. Something that someone will want to hold. my .02 Agreed. Another important thing - marketing. Very well said. But how do we make that a reality...? A got a feeling we've got a very talanted dev who, basically, works his ass off. He surely can't do everything ppl ask for alone. So how....? Perhaps the whole Burst project needs to be more organized. Say, with a team responsible for different sections (design, marketing, c, usage, etc), together helping the dev out and improving the coin. This is a GREAT idea. Let's develop a team! Also, I have a developer friend who's working with me on the GUI tool right now, and I know Uray and Dcct are dev's working for the betterment of this coin as well, I really think it will continue to grow with our (The community's) help! I will gladly take part in a commission of sorts, to help the advancement of burst! any ideas to make this a reality? I am glad i am not only one who have same opinion. I like this coin and want to help. The only thing that makes me upset now is the thread.. People are now so "negative" . Pretty sure these are bots that have been driving price down all day. Yes that 16k order is prob a bot. Every time a new order one ups it, it immediately gets moved ahead. Its been going on all day. Some good news from the dev can reverse the trend.  Definetly BOT. |

Well, I'm watching this one and I didn't buy yet, I'm afraid that Shade would fall hard. Why? Block Target: 60 Seconds Block Reward: 64 SHADE So 1440 blocks a day x 64 reward = 92160 coins At price 10k sato it's 9,216 BTC Well, it's no good imo. Even if half of coin are going to be sold after mining, price can easy going in slowly downtrend... 2m total - 694k actual supply = 1.306m /92.16k = 14.17 d of mining Like your math, i do same research everytime |

2 New PCs are set up and now waiting for my 12 HDD each of 6TB to arrive in next few days.

sometimes it's a problem with your RAM and Java. Don't understand the details either. Try my code above and it will restart the mining process automatically.

i have two HDD each hdd 4TB i want use this hdds in one pc now how can i create plot for this two hdd i mean creat two plot with same nonce(example 0 80000) with my two hdd or not create two plot with Different nonce( example: one plot in one 4TB hdd 0 to 80000 nonce and second hdd4TB 80001 160000)?i want run 2miner at the same time with two plot This work be done or not?
You need to generate : example first disc --> 0 8000 second disc ---> 8001 16000 And google SYMLINK or SOFTLINK its uses to mine as one big capacity.. example for 1 TB 1 TB --> 1000GB--> (1000*1024*1024)/256 = your nonces |
