Do not accept transactions that are not yet confirmed. At least you can wait for 1 confirmation or more, depending on how huge the amount you are trading. Unconfirmed transaction can be reversed. If the transaction have at least one confirmation, the buyer will not be able to reverse the transaction.

Okay, if I'm to understand what you said, so you mean you own a Binance account abi? And you have a group of persons who normally send you Bitcoin for you to trade for them and you send them the value in fiat, right? So if that's the case, the question still remains, how did you get the WhatsApp contact of all those people you are selling Bitcoin in exchange of fiat from in the first place? And secondly, why must you credit someone when you haven't confirmed to have received the BTC from the person? Because I'm sure what must have lured you to this is still what "Adbitco" said (i.e Greed), as those scammer were able to convince selling you BTC at a discounted rate, and you fell for it.
So for me, the only advise I can give you and other newbies is to stop falling for people who claim to sell you BTC or USDT at a cheap price, as they are always scammers. Go register and use only reputable platforms such as Binance and Remitano, in other to avoid stories that touch the heart.

The whole story is not complete.. I am interested to know about the website you are asked to invest that made him or her sent you 300$ worth of btc. What brought you guys together and how come he had your WhatsApp contact if you don't know him in toto before sending him money or that leads to scamming each others. Where you too greedy to make gain and became rich over night?
This is common with those who wants to become richer or wanting to hold a larger amount of bitcoin than ever at this point you might end in cheaply fallen into scammer's pot. When you remove greed I bet it would be had for a cheap scammer to convinced you or even lure you to invest in their fake site they promised to give you 50x within the next 2hrs whenever you see something like this know it too well that is a scam and not legitimate.

I am even confused with the whole story that OP said. You don't know someone and you sent the person $300 to buy bitcoin or for what,because any transaction that has been confirmed in the blockchain can't be erased from the blockchain. This is why I don't get your point, another thing is that don't be greedy and think that you can get rich quick without following the right procedures. I believe that the scammer didn't send OP any bitcoin.

1. No Light.
For Almost One month now, we never see light we stable more than five minutes before they take am, and they no dey bring am pass two or three times in a day, the matter now don make water scarce for here, those wey get water and no generator no fit pump water, those wey get water and generator no see fuel buy, so that they go fit pump water, they ones wey manage pump water no gree sale, the ones wey dey manage sale don hike the price of 1 gallon(25 liter) from #10 wey we dey buy am before to #50 now, some dey even sale #70,#100 for 25 liter of water.

2. No Water.
I don explain as e take be for my area concerning water, together with light matter above, make this post no too long, i no go go further on this one again.

3. No Money.
CBN announce say deadline for old currency na 31st of January, and as e be right now for my area here, my people for here no dey gree collect the old note again ooh, and the worst part be say we no see the new note collect from bank, ATMs wey dey this ogbe na old currency all of them dey pay, and the banks no send, if you enter their domain do any how, police go knack you kpako for head, bundle you troway for outside, this na if they no arrest you.
Doing business now is really difficult for our older forks wey no sabi wetin be "i want to do transfer", yahoo boys dey even use this opportunity to chop many people as most of them don start to dey send fake alert.
People wey dey sell no won collect old note, those wey won buy no see new note to take pay for wetin dey won buy -- wetin man pikin go do like this???.

4. No Fuel.
If to say as light no dey, fuel dey, maybe people for not too complain, but as it is now, a liter of fuel here na #500 and black market dey sell #700, but even as e cost so, To see am buy na still a big wahala.
No light, and no fuel, businesses dey suffer as they no see fuel to run their business, barbers, dry cleaners, tailors, bet9ja shops, saloon, gym houses, phone and computer repair shops -this na just to name a few, what about okada people, tricyclist them, public/commercial transporters..
Water a scarcity biting really hard in my area now due to no light and no fuel , things are getting out of hand over here..

Most people wey dey use binance exchange wallet address receive payment from anywhere, some of us don copy wallet address to each coin  keep and incase if anybody wan send coin to use, we no dey go copy am from binance directly again, we go just paste the one wey we don copy keep before give the person. I just received notification now from binance say some wallet address go expire, which means they go replace the wallet address to some coins, after dey don change the wallet address, if you do mistake send coin to the old wallet you fit lose your coin. Make we all dey careful now, if you no they go copy wallet address directly if you wan receive coin from binance, e go make sense make you go dey confirm the wallet address first.
