21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are you keeping in your bag for 2020-2021 ? on: February 12, 2020, 05:49:20 PM
As I've been trading on the only exchange lately, I store the coins supported there. Mostly Ether, Litecoin, Zcash (still hoping it will have its day), and Peercoin. BTC is no brainer, of course.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about mining Coins on: February 11, 2020, 06:48:45 PM
One more fact. According to Jihan Wu (one of the Bitmain creators), these days investing in mining is more profitable than buying cryptocurrencies. Of course, he was talking about it to promote Bitmain products but still, there's a grain of sense in his words. He's not talking of mining as of using GPUs in a loss but as of serious investment, a business, not a hobby.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: February 07, 2020, 06:37:21 PM
I think first off you should choose an exchange with better liquidity. Another factor is the range of available types of orders. As far as I know, Mercatox doesn't support stop limit orders and some other types of orders that can help you to avoid extra losses. Probably you have used these orders on Bibox, I don't know.

I suppose IDAX can be a good alternative as it has a good reputation, high liquidity, and it provides enough features that can help you to trade safer. Binance is another good option. Of course, it's more about the way you are trading and less about the platform. The platform matters though.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: February 06, 2020, 04:14:01 PM
I hope that DEXs will become more mainstream and gain huge liquidity. We have successful decentralized exchanges (Bisq, IDAX, etc) that accept fiat money deposits. So people with no crypto can stay anonymous, buy cryptocurrencies, and even trade some coins if they wish. Mostly, people complain about the lack of good liquidity on DEXs. I guess decentralized exchanges with high liquidity could be the next big thing in crypto.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO LINKED MERCATOX TO METAMASK on: February 05, 2020, 05:35:09 PM
I've noticed that there are many complaints about the work of the Mercatox support team. Nevertheless, I think the only way you can solve the issue is through the pressure on the support team and posting complaints on the Mercatox social media pages (especially Twitter). If you want to use Metamask then it's their duty to assist you.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Right Time to buy Some ALT coins? on: February 04, 2020, 11:26:16 AM
I think this is always the right time to buy altcoins. The main thing is to buy the right altcoins!
You can buy a large number of altcoins, which will not give you any profit and will not be needed anywhere, or you can buy several altcoins, the price of which will increase after a while.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: February 04, 2020, 11:20:56 AM
Crypto for me is a technology and an idea that can free humanity from the traditional banking system that makes people slaves. You are just lucky if you haven't had any problems with this in your life. In order to make progress faster, I'm interested in this topic and think about how to use crypto in life (business). At the moment I'm at the stage of designing a project and thinking over all the details.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 04, 2020, 11:12:53 AM
I'm not sure if XRP has a chance to grow anytime soon. However, I think that in the future it has chances. I'm not one of those who don't like this coin. On the contrary, I used to have this currency in my portfolio. But now I don't have XRP. I hope that the time will come when I can buy this currency at the best point.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins do you Hold ? on: February 04, 2020, 11:06:04 AM
I have eth, btc. I used to have many other currencies that I sold because I'm not sure about them. I'm sure that Bitcoin and Ethereum should grow, so I bet on them.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: February 03, 2020, 01:19:47 PM
I really like Brave browser but I hate the ads so much that I can't force myself to turn the shields off even for rewards.
One more way to earn cryptocurrencies for free is by participating in affiliate programs. If I'm correct, most of the cryptocurrency platforms provide this option. No surprise that posting affiliate links are banned but it's okay to share it on social media or in the articles on cryptocurrencies (if you write some).
If you are new to this way of earning you can check this review about one of the exchanges as an example. This exchange provides an affiliate program. Of course, it's better to share links associated with the products that you yourself truly like.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 02, 2020, 11:11:48 PM
Bitcoin has shown me that freedom is possible in our world. The very idea of bitcoin gave hope for a bright future for many people. And I'm sincerely glad that I'm on the verge of introducing Bitcoin into our lives.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: February 02, 2020, 11:06:30 PM
I believe there's no free lunch in this world.
Any promises of different scam companies are just a beautiful wrapper with a hoax behind.
Personally, I keep my bitcoins, because I know that the price will rise in the future.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 02, 2020, 10:57:06 PM
People around me often say that modern crypto services (wallets, exchanges, etc.) do not have a good degree of security. People believe that it is easier for scammers to steal cryptocurrency than ordinary fiat money. And they will be right. In my opinion, at the moment the situation has exactly this form. Therefore, we don't need to blame people for the fact that they are wrong when they don't trust Bitcoin. They are partially right. But this doesn't mean that cryptocurrency is something unreliable. It just takes some time for crypto services to become more reliable.

Sorry Ronaldo, but I would choose Messi
37  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Anyone Here a Writer? on: February 02, 2020, 05:15:49 AM
I often get different images in my mind. They are very bright, with emotions. And I write them in a notebook when I have time. I’m going to write many different stories-universes in the future.
38  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2020 worst than 2019 on: February 02, 2020, 05:07:25 AM
Personally, I'm fine, but I understand you. Tragedies happen all the time, the only question is whether you need to experience negative emotions. After all, you will not help the situation like this. I do not speak personally about you, I speak generally about all of us (people). Therefore, I suggest spending energy on creative positive things
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: January 31, 2020, 02:54:33 PM
I need to know your preferences.

My dream is a decentralized exchange with good liquidity. I don't know how to achieve it technically but that's how I see the best possible exchange. Moreover, KYC-checks (if they are necessary) should be more straight-forward than on many existing exchanges (when you never know what else the support team is going to ask you in the next minute). I've tried one DEX but I wish it would be faster. Maybe you will find a way to achieve it.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Bitcoin Forks Are There? You will be surprised!!! on: January 31, 2020, 11:07:40 AM
In my opinion, it makes no sense when the original currency has a huge amount of different shitcoins that are useless. It is better when there is one currency with a large number of different purposes for which it can be used.
In addition, I almost never heard of half the forks on this list.
