When refreshing the FTP directory periodically, three .dat files appeared.  I have downloaded them and removed them from the FTP server.  After starting up bitcoind with them I will report on any addresses they contain that have been seen in the block chain.  If they turn out to be your addresses, create a new wallet on a secure machine and spend all of your coins to one of its addresses ASAP.

EDIT: More keep popping up every so often.  I am downloading and deleting all that I find.

Dude, you are a goddamn rock star! Love to see this kind of crap foiled

Also, make sure you are running the 32 bit edition. I've read sometimes the  64 bit can cause this.

Agreed, if you are having issues running or installing 64 but Ubuntu, try the 32 bit edition. I had a motherboard that 64 bit just didn't like, but 32 but worked flawlessly.

Hello,

I am a new Bitcoin enthusiast from Portland, OR, US. I am in the computer services business and I will accept BTC for computer, network, and laser printer services and repairs in the Portland area. I work for a legitimate, liscensed and insured computer services company, so I can provide services on the side as an individual or I can operate as an agent of my company if the services are to be provided for a business that would prefer to use an established company with business insurance.

Even better, I will provide a discount of %20 off of my normal hourly or flat rate for anyone paying in BTC.

Anyone interested, please PM me here once I get whitelisted.

May the Bitcoin smile upon us all today! Grin

Supposed to start Thursday.  The US pool has been paid out and Luke is waiting to see if there were any problems before doing the EU pool.

Keep in mind that he's not paying the transaction fees (for obvious reasons) and so it'll take until at least one block is found by Server 3 before you'll see the transaction.

tl;dr be patient and don't complain until at least Friday evening.

Definitely not complaining, just wondering. I saw a post accusing luke-jr of holding a users balance and saying that "if he wanted to borrow my bitcoins he should have just asked" that I thought was completely rude and out of line. I have no idea what it takes to run a pool and if there is an issue that delays my payout for a few days I completely understand.

Thanks for the info!

Good to know. My US balance showed as a regular transaction from address 18i1C6MVaQWgeVCLmDmwZJxEn4uVSaxp2Q. Nothing from EU yet. I still have faith though.

First of all, I woul like to say that I really like the Eligius pool. I was wondering when the balances from the EU pool will be transferred or paid? I have recieved payment for the balance that was in my US pool account but have not seen anything from my EU pool balance.

Thank you!
