When schools are closed and also there is no entertainment for the children, my son has been busy in drawing which he calls them Master piece.  Smiley

Let me know if you found them interesting.

For a 6-year-old to draw like that is quite good, it's very gifted.
You should encourage your child to try harder.

25  Other / Off-topic / What to prepare if you need to isolate at home? on: April 12, 2020, 08:29:05 PM
If you are on a 14-day segregation at home due to Covid-19, the first thing to do is: Don't panic

Talk to family members about how to take care of each other. Talk to your neighbor about situation where your family need emergency or special event so they can provide timely support.
Check out food supplie, home drink and "shipping" services in case you can't get out.

Be prepared to work remotely.
Be prepared with medical record, epidemiological record, or at least the medical record of all family member.
Have a separate room ready to isolate the sick from the rest of the family.

Food and water
According CDC, it is advisable to prepare food for the whole family for at least 3 day. However, it still depend on the governments of each region of that country.
You may not be able to reach the store, so you may run out of food, it is important to have more supplies.

Medicine
Prepare important medication in advance, such as diabete medication, blood pressure. There is a possibility that the medicine supply may be disrupted, causing a shortage. Also, do not forget about pain killer or stomach medicine.
This is the right thing to do, whether there is an epidemic or not.

Regularly wipe surface such as kitchen, bathroom faucet, table, light switches, doorknob,  many time a day. ...etc
One of the best way to protect yourself from Covid-19 or other flu is to wash your hand. Washing your hand regularly and properly, as well as avoiding touching your face, eyes and nose, are an effective way.

Also, if you are sneezing "freely" or covering your hand, it is a mistake. Cover with your elbow when sneezing or using dry paper, to ensure that you do not spread the virus to the air and surfaces.

28  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Revolut account - I lost 1000 EUR !!! on: April 12, 2020, 02:11:00 PM
In February, I sold a bitcoint to 3 buyers on the Localbitcoins site for a total of 1000 EUR.

Buyers transferred the amount to the my Revolut bank account.

The Revolut then suspended my account.

A month later, my account was permanently canceled by Revolut, and my deposit was returned to the original source.

I wrote to the 3 customers on the site of Localbitcoins, but I have not received a reply yet.

What can I do ? Lost the 1000 EUR?

Scam everywhere, I feel worse than the covid epidemic 19.
People should be more alert when trickery is becoming more sophisticated.

If you are a responsible member of the community and you learn how scammers work, you are not going to go on a project without first checking if it is legit or not, and if it's too good to be true, you will have doubts and will check diligently if the offer is legit, we are in a world or industry where there are too scammers and we need to educate ourselves on how they work.

I just started to learn about this market.
Perhap because of that, I was more easily fooled.
I had to delete all and reinstall my computer.

I quoted your post so that we can see the images.

Did you fell for the trap though? Before you download any crypto related apps, you have to verify it's signature like in Electrum. There has been a lot of attacks lately, Fake Electrum, MEW and Meta Mask.

Thank you for understanding but I'm up here to warn and let the community know to avoid cases like me

Someone new trying to deal with you and has no prior conversations with you. Isn't that a big red flag to avoid such attempts? I also received such messages a while ago but now I don't find this on my TG anymore (maybe I deleted it) but the catch is that the guy is sending you password and so much sensitive information to someone he doesn't knows. Anyway can smell fishy from miles away.

Someone smart enough wouldn't fall for this.

I get the same message once or twice daily. But this is the first time I trust it. I downloaded it and installed as a result they took control of my computer.
I really feel scared.

Oh well, at least you learn your lessons here, you shouldn't trust anyone. Just because they say you download certain apps and they will gave you free cryptos, you will blindly trust and follow them. You need to be smart and think logically. Education is the key here, and that is our main weapon against those cyber criminals. Not blaming you, but next time, be very very careful.

Yes, this is probably the last time I believe in such scammer, and in the future I hope there won't be anyone who has encountered the same situation.

Wait a minute, so they sent you a fake Electrum & BitGo app that automatically asks you to transfer your funds to their wallet? Or were they able to hijack your computer and take control of it?

That electrum notification does pop-up when you're not inserting your ledger (if you use it as your wallet), so I'm quite confused.

while you're updating the software They take advantage of your time noticing and they control your computer like a remote control device.
