We are pleased to announce that we have successfully changed the name of our site from SatoshiDice.io to CryptoDice.io . Earlier on satoshidice.io there was some misunderstanding due to some similar names on satoshidice.com. Many users thought we were the same, but this is not true. However I noticed on think that when I visit SatoshiDice.io, it says that application does not exists. They can have this notification mentioned on the previous site. Also i beleive that this ANN is irrelvant now and should be locked. They should open a New Ann thread with a new name https://cryptodice.io/. Also i hope that all the logins and data is migrated to the new site ? @sdice Was there someone won the jackpot with big bet? If I remember it correctly, jackpot was around 20btc on my last visit (before Watoshi got his jackpot) but now total jackpot is 0.2xxbtc only (less than 0.25btc) as shown http://prntscr.com/tgnqub AFAIK the jackpot should be at least 0.25btc as what you write on the jackpot information. Based on Watoshi jackpot hit with his bet amount and based on the jackpot share formula (bet amount*100/0.01), Watoshi won 1% share of the jackpot. Means that when he hit it, the total jackpot was more than 10btc if my math is correct. So it is just strange if the total jackpot at the moment is less than 0.25btc, unless there was a big change that you made on the jackpot after watoshi hit it. Yes that time the jackpot was actually around 10 BTC. According to the info on the site, the jackpot will reset itself to 0.20 (0.25 was a long time ago since the introduction of the jackpot, should have fix this) when someone won it. So when watoshi won the jackpot, the Jackpot then reset back to 0.20 and will continue to accumulate based on players wager amount. The longer the jackpot remains unclaimed, the larger the prize will be . |

There is no notification currently, but the Jackpot should be credited immediately when you hit the Jackpot . It is a good suggestion that we can add notification, or even add it to the chat section so everyone will know someone hits the Jackpot. Will consider adding this feature. should we select/tick on box cost of btc (0.0001BTC ) to the winning 0.1025BTC jackpot? my experience playing in freebitco.in, we must select cost to join the jackpot. Something is wrong. Please try again".recently I read a project that claim clone of satoshidice, do you have relation with it guys? Look like Vision claim as real Bitcoin. I guess you hit it when you were playing for the wagering contest and probably you were doing flat betting with high odds, am I right?

Only for large investors who can win this race, and of course people who have small capital will be alienated in this race, I hope that in the future satoshidice will create a community for people who have minimal capital so that everything looks fair and there is no which is special
Wagering contest is absolutely good for those who have big bankroll. Small players has so low chance to win but anyone still can try it with small bankroll, who knows that those big players are not coming to participate and who knows that small players will be able to win decent amount during wagering? Suggestion for small players, do not force yourself to play for the wagering contest, but play for fun only with a hope to win something from the betting not from the contest. Yes that's why I highly recommend satoshidice to add contest features with certain tables so that all users can enjoy the contest, right? At least this leads to equitable justice for users of the satoshidice platform, which distinguishes large and small capital tables Thanks for your suggestion. Was this fixed and what is the current amount of "ownership" of the site for the amount shown in the screen grab? How easy is it to cash out and what are the returns? There is nothing wrong with the invest stats. Currently public bankroll is empty as we haven’t promote yet, and we are funding with our own money for now. If you were to invest 0.001, then technically you would have own 100% of the public bankroll and hence the site profit. Investor can either invest or cash out any time they want Will the public bankroll and your private bankroll combined in the future? If it is separate bankroll then I find this statement kinda weird if someone were to invest 0.001 and take 100% of the site's profit. We plan to run the bankroll entirely on either public or private bankroll, but never combined. If we successfully raise some amount of public bankroll that we think is viable to run the site, then we will switch entirely to public bankroll and turn off private one, because with this investors' funds will be fully utilized and hence they can get the maximum amount of profit compared to combining the two. If we didn't raise sufficient amount, then we will still continue with private bankroll until otherwise. Yeah I know that the site will only risk portion of the investor's bankroll on each bet but that on the other hand also means satoshidice will only be able to offer dust betting to their customer. Perhaps 10% of the current investor bankroll on each bet (?)

As mentioned above, if we were not successful in raising sufficient amount, then we will continue with private one first. BTC 0.001 is not possible to run a casino site bankroll, so we won't run with 0.001 public bankroll. Also, we plan not to risk more than 1% of the public bankroll. This is to protect changes in investors' funds should a whale wins big, otherwise the bankroll will be hit hard and might take long time to recover. We believe investors are looking for stable and positive return to their investments, and so we aim to provide as much stability to investor's return as we can, while still allowing the game to be exciting enough for players to win big. Assuming a player wager 0.002 at x2 multiplier. Using only the public bankroll at 0.001 wont be able to cover all those loss if the player win . On the contrary if the player lose, does this mean the investor with only 0.001 btc take all those 0.002 profit? Thats 300% more than what he put on the site
Assuming we have sufficient bankroll (not just 0.001), if a player wager 0.002 and win 0.002 (x2), then the winnings will be shifted from public bankroll to players balance. Also, the site will take commission for each bet based on wager amount, regardless of outcome of bets. Investor's loss in this case = players winnings + site commission based on wager amount. On other hand, if the player loses, then the wager amount will be added to the public bankroll. Investor's profit in this case = players lose amount - site commission based on wager amount. Hope that answer your questions. More details will be posted once we started promoting this invest feature. |

While you are at it, would you fix the invest tab as well? - It doesn't show the site's bankroll, not sure if it was intended or not

This should be just some simple error on the site about the bankroll/invest feature. I haven't really tested the invest feature yet buf if there isnt anyone that tried to invest 0.001 yet perhaps that feature hasnt been open to public yet. But I think the leaderboard is not reset after the 1st one ended some time ago proved by the number of wagered amount by some players remains the same when the 1st race ends. If your 2nd race is not running now, you should remove that leaderboard page or give a notification message there. Otherwise, people who want to join it wont be disappointed if it is not running while they are trying to wager for it as they think that the 2nd race is running. Sorry about that.
