Blockchain.info allows you to send transactions that don't fulfill the minimum fee. If you are lucky they get confirmed within a day or two, but they may get stuck.
Fair enough, is there anyway to tell armory you wish to override it's recommendation? I understand it can (and probably will) get stuck, but, I still want to be able to do it. This I want set my fee regrades of consequence. |

You submit your private keys to CoinValidation and they remove coins from unvalidated addresses and escrows them until the sender validates, automatic in the case you use coinbase.

It's actually very easy, because only one person is compiling 'official' bitcoin client which is used by thousands users, force this person to corrupt, backdoor 'official' client and you can destroy bitcoin in just few second... and don't give me argument you 'can Compile it yourself' 90% use standard bitcoin-qt client.

Hello, Last days I keep reading absurd claims like bitcoin is broken because of some possible 51% attack. From what I read a pool that reaches 51% could create blocks that shouldnt be there, but as far as i know a bitcoin pool still consists of hundreds if not thousands of individual miners ? Can anyone explain this to me ? and why this is BS if it is ? Thanks  I little exaggerated here but is like tunneling effect in physics, electron do it all the time but try do it with 1000 of them in the same time and problems starts, In theory if you throw ball it have chance to go through wall, but good luck with that... |

I have question
If i have 1 bitcoin(don't plan use it for next 40 years ) and some point in the future we have hard fork, and again hard fork, will I have 1 bitcoin in all of this forks ?

MtGox could be closed tomorrow.
This is clearly not the case, because by that rationale, it would have already happened. Mt. Gox can still operate it's Japanese bank accounts denominated in all currencies... No, shutting down unregulated gambling sites and exchanges is LOW PRIORITY. The US takes it's sweet time... Bureaucrats usually spend 2-3 years building a case...Identifying principals involved and observing an operation... Then, "suddenly", the site goes down in 5 minutes. That's what happened with Full Tilt Poker... 5-10 times bigger than MtGox. The principals are then charged with crimes carrying huge jail sentences... Linked to drugs, terrorism, porn, etc... The principals are invariably extradited or have to go on the run... Then the whole thing is negotiated with $1000/hour lawyers... But the business disappears overnight. Rinse and repeat. One has to be in complete denial... To think MtGox or Bitstamp is different from LR or FTP. If they give bitcoin 2-3 years it will be too late for them and MtGox, Bitstamp will be irreverent in 2-3 years time. |
