The bitFlowers Project
bitFlowers 101

Great post! Must have taken you ages to put that together.

Seems your img tags aren't rendering your links, which is a bit annoying! Need to check over your markup.

Thanks for posting!

If you don't use Bitflowers yet and don't have your first petals, you need to see this post.

We're happy to hear you're enjoying the re-launch of bitFlowers. We weren't long past the fork before we got an attack, and have done our best to get things back up online.

Don't forget that the new wallet is staking at 120%, so make sure to save your winnings from the Discord server in the wallet to get additional bonuses!

It is good to see that you are giving updates at the very start of this thread. This will assure your followers here that there is development going on in this project. However, in terms of your actual use case, you said this quarter you will conduct stress testing of eGift transfers based from your roadmap, is this still on time? Are we gonna see this from your app this quarter?

To be frank, we tend to automate our announcements through Twitter, which then webhook to our social media channels, so this thread tends to lag in terms of announcements, so I'd advice you follow the project along via Twitter / Discord, etc.

The roadmap was written in good faith to outline more specifically the intentions with the development aspect, but as the team have been building out, other areas have taken focus:

Crypto-city.com platform operates within a third party data centre, so a new custom server is being built, so that the entirely of the ecosystem can be operated internally, which has taken some of the momentum away from bitFlowers development. Additionally, as we've been working through the bitFlowers roadmap, some aspects have been more time laden. I.e. both index and exchange acquisition. We intended for 8 suitable non KYC exchange to begin with. We currently have 6 completed and operational and are working toward the next two over the coming couple of months. Additionally, given the intensity of the cryptocurrency environment at present, index listings have been slow and we're still pursuing this. Our main focus has been to acquire a fully tracked listing with CoinMarketCap, so that we can then permeate the data into Coinbase and Blockfolio. This is only weeks away, now, so rest assured that development has not been neglects - we're currently working very hard to ensure that we have maximum credibility within the crypto ecosystem before aiming toward the eGift integration!

Furthermore, we've been driving efforts into community expansion, too. The integration of the Discord / Telegram tipBot has required some focus to see how it can be utilized to support coin distribution and utility. We've been experimenting with lotto, raffles, bounties, invite programs, etc, that have all required lots of focus as more and more people have been exploring bitFlowers. Today, for example, we're re-designing the Discord server to better manage the mass of users that we have. Once Discord simplification is complete, we're going to begin a marketing campaign to ramp up the userbase as CoinMarketCap data goes live, and we can drive some attention toward the market place and create a healthier dynamic at the exchanges.

All of the initial eGifts have been created and are ready for deployment, but prior to engaging with the implementation of the functionality, the team intend to focus on upgrading the current software RPC methods and the additional dependencies that the software utilizes.

So, in simple:

CoinMarkCap > Coinbase > blockfolio index data = maximum distribution of market data = maximum exposure of market activities = maximum potential for use case once phase 2 rolls out

Once the above is completed and we have the additional market acquired - estimated to be by August - then we would have accomplished our marketplace and audience goals. At which point, we're going to drive our attention fully at development and that's when we will create a new roadmap, update the marketing, and then the focus can remain entirely on the core wallet functionality.

Thanks for messaging!

How about listing in coingecko or cmc? Was looking for PETAL in both sites but you are not yet listed. Anyway, if you are busy with other developmental plans, that's fine. But maybe in the near future, would be great if we can see PETAL in one of these sites. These are the 2 common sites where users look for the details of the coin.

We've applied for: CoinPaprika, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, Delta, WorldCoinIndex, LiveCoinWatch, CoinCodex, CoinCheckup, and CoinLib. Once CMC is live and kicking we'll aim for the others that pull their data from CMC, like Coinbase and blockfolio.

We'll get there! It's a very busy time for the index companies, so just need a bit of patience while they process the applications.

Hey everyone,

Quick update:

We now have two indexes live (and 7 more to come over the coming weeks):

https://coincheckup.com/coins/bitflowers
https://www.livecoinwatch.com/price/bitFlowers-PETAL

We've also launched a bounty for YouTube content creators over on the Discord server [winners get 25,000 / 12,500 bitFlowers (PETAL) coins]:

https://discord.gg/nxGju4nMb3

Our current bounties have received a massive input since beginning, including a community members who baked cookies for an entry:

Note:

We've now integrated webhooks to automate the announcements from Twitter, which now feed into the FB page, Telegram, Reddit, and Discord.

The Discord server is up 1400 users since the bounty and Discord programs went live.

All market pairs are now active across the exchanges:

https://www.crypto-city.com/bitflowers/trade/

---

What's next?

7 more indexes, 2 new exchanges, and then deployment of the mobile wallet.

The bitFlowers referral program is now live via the Official bitFlowers Discord server  Smiley

It's simple:

The more people you invite > the more you'll rank up.

Why?

Higher ranking roles get automatic daily soaks. The higher the rank, the more daily soaks achieved.

Rank 5 = Roots = 1000 bitFlowers (PETAL) coins shared between all role members.
Rank 4 = Stem = 1000 bitFlowers (PETAL) coins shared between all role members.
Rank 3 = Leaf = 1000 bitFlowers (PETAL) coins shared between all role members.
Rank 2 = Flower = 1000 bitFlowers (PETAL) coins shared between all role members.
Rank 1 = Bee  = 1000 bitFlowers (PETAL) coins shared between all role members.

Get inviting! Who will be the first bitFlowers bee?  Grin

Which #airdrop is this for?

You'd have to participate directly in the social media channel that's offering the giveaway. And they usually are for a limited time and for varying quantities of coins!

You got a lot of of users from Indonesia, didn't expect that.
But seeing your team members, you are not Indonesians.
How come this project is a hit to them?
By the way, what is the conversion rate of PETAL to CIR?
Are you going to list PETAL as a different coin?

Haha, yeah! We are doing continuous giveaways at the moment, which involve lots of new people joining the network, so ideally we get people from all over the world to help add some more network beef!

I imagine the specifics of why can't be answered. Purely coincidental I imagine!

There isn't any conversion rate; it's not a swap. The balances from Ciredo forward over. Merely move the wallet.dat to the new wallet app data folder.

Exchanges and indexes will simply update. But our focus is to list on new exchanges. With the first new one coming any day Cheesy
