21  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: EXMO.com Cryptocurrency Exchange [Official Thread] on: February 15, 2021, 10:30:23 PM
I have some troubles with verification.
You should better ask the support for advice on what you can provide. I think it shouldn't be hard for you to pass it. By the way, you can also check the guide about address verification: https://info.exmo.com/en/verification/address-verification/
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy EXM on: February 12, 2021, 05:14:06 PM
It was a nice ride today. EXM has hit the 0.02 mark and gave everyone who's caught this train in time an almost 400% of the beneficial profit.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UBER will start to transact with Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2021, 06:19:27 PM
I think this idea is not so bad as it seems. Moreover, it's pretty possible to implement. All we need is to expect the proper cryptocurrency regulation system which will allow global companies and banks to enable Bitcoin payments. Imagine you have a credit card with some Bitcoins in your bank account and you can use it to pay for the taxi either buy some food in the supermarket.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hype around DOGE on: February 09, 2021, 09:57:32 AM
I agree with the point that DOGE isn't the most reliable asset for long-term investment but as I see this shitcoin has already made an insane profit for its holders. I wish I had an idea about the next coin which Elon, Reddit either anyone will pump it up. I don't care much about DOGE price in the next few years but I think it's worth buying it as long as news and hype about DOGE is on our lips because you can still have some benefits.

There are a lot of different exchanges with DOGE on their list but I can allocate the EXMO so far. I like it cause I can usually find quite lower prices compared to other platforms and high liquidity.

It's not the first time I hear about EXMO so recently I tried to use it. So far I can say that trading on this exchange is simple and effective, indeed.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Am Going To Put Bitcoin On The Moon, And No 1 Can Stop Me! on: February 07, 2021, 01:05:14 PM
Such a desperate and crazy idea Shocked But I hope you can do it. Wish you some luck. This plan requires some determination, which should be right up your alley.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Basic questions on: February 04, 2021, 09:06:28 AM
Someone once explained to me that when sending coin to another address one must ensure that the address he is sending it to is compatible to the one you're sending it from.

You're right. There is a concept of Cross-chain transactions in the network. For example, when you sending a LiteCoin (LTC) to the Bitcoin (BTC) wallet or Ethereum Classic (ETC) to the Ethereum (ETH) address it will be difficult to you to manage these funds further and they can get stuck in your wallet. Sure, you won't be able to mix up the addresses and send BTC to the Ethereum wallet but you should still be careful and check the addresses you use to transfer. Measure twice, cut once Wink
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie bitcoin question on: February 02, 2021, 05:32:45 PM
There are a lot of trading tools and tricks you can use to buy or sell. There are some simple strategies like scalping and news trading and some much risky and harder to explain ways like swinging during corrections or Algo trading. If you are a newbie to Bitcoin I would like to suggest you read more about crypto and different currencies, follow the most reliable news-platforms, and check the current price in the market a few times a day. I recommend you to check the article "Day Trading Bitcoin" published by EXMO recently. I've found a lot of new information for me.
However, you can always become a HODLer and just keeping your funds till the better day when Bitcoin will reach a new crazy high like it did not so long ago Wink
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I always return to Bitcoin on: February 02, 2021, 03:57:16 PM
I think the majority of crypto enthusiasts lost some interest in crypto in 2018 because of the market dump. I was on this team as well Grin I had heard about Bitcoin when I was young and there were a lot of different rumors but I started to reading properly about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at the end of 2017.
Back at that time, I remember I liked LiteCoin among other altcoins because of the low-cost fees of transactions in the network and I invested some of my savings in this asset as well. I had my coins in EXMO and decided to keep holding because I hadn't much knowledge about trading.
Unfortunately, I had scared a bit when the prices fell down so I cashed out but I saved a quarter of my coins and got back to Bitcoin at the start of this year. Sure, I regret my nervousness and panic but it's ok, eventually it's a great experience for me.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: to see is to believe on: January 18, 2021, 12:21:19 AM
I've started my journey in the crypto world in 2017 when the market hit the first huge price explosion. My parents had less knowledge about this stuff as like as me but now I understand the potential of digital currencies. I'd call my father a "crypto skeptic" because he still thinks Bitcoin is some kind of scam Grin I hope one day he'll see the obvious things and accept the point that cryptocurrency is our future and it's already here.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to take profit from your current bitcoin holding. on: January 17, 2021, 11:35:30 PM
The price of bitcoin started rising from 15k to 20k,from 20k to 25k, I thought it has reached the last increase this season.

Few days later it rose to 33k and started a bearish movement to 31k, I was already loosing my hard earned cash. I hastily converted it to etherum because it was performing better.

I later discovered that I made a very big mistake by cashing out at a loss, I would have waited a little. A week later, Bitcoin rose to 40k plus.

I've made the same mistake as you. I decided to start trading a while instead of keeping holding as I did earlier. I've sold a part of my wallet at $35k and that night BTC reached ATH at $39k  Grin
I figured out that I need to point a mark for me when I'll be enjoyed to cash out. I bought it when the price was $32k and I would be happy to make 400% of profit so now I will wait and hold until that moment. You can do as well  Wink
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did Bitcoin catch fire? on: January 17, 2021, 10:39:14 PM
Yeah, I would agree with everyone above. Bitcoin was the first one developed cryptocurrencies and we can call it a "Father of Crypto Industry" (or a "Mother", it's up to you  Smiley).
Bitcoin has an astonishing system created as a reliable and fast way to transfer your digital funds from any place in the world in a minute without any troubles. Blockchain has great potential and the security of this system is on a high level. I can't help waiting for Schnorr and Taproot protocol updating in the BTC network. It will make it easier and flexible to work with smart-contracts in Blockchain so we'll see a lot of trending tokens on a base of Blockchain.
All of these makes BTC number one at least for me  Grin
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here's why I'm leaving Bitcoin on: January 17, 2021, 09:59:22 PM
Sure, you can be disappointed by Bitcoin now after ten years of existence. It's ok that Bitcoin direction could slightly be changed Now it's one of the richest assets in the world and I'm glad to see new companies recognizing it each day.
But there are still a lot of other coins and cryptosystems created for decent reasons and new projects appear almost every day so you can still remain a part of this world and find a new coin for you.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend as much as you can! on: January 17, 2021, 02:49:05 PM
I follow Michael Saylor on social media and I like watching his podcasts. I think he is right about risks related to monetary inflation. Storing Bitcoin is one of the ways out to secure yourself from the inflation and risks of losing. But on the other hand, Bitcoin still needs to be regulated by governments of countries. It has great potential but I think we'll be able to uncover this potential not right now but in the next few years.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin p2p transaction was made 12 years ago on: January 17, 2021, 02:09:24 PM
From what I read the test transaction took six days before it was broadcasted on the main network and another 3 days to be received.
What does that mean? Wasn’t it received when it was broadcasted? Or did you mean it was included into a block after 3 days? I think I didn’t get what you mean.
The tx was included in the block #170 mined at 12/01/2009 (09.30), the earlier block #169 was mined at 12/01/2009 (09.22).
So, it should be received instantly after it was broadcasted. May be I'm missing some information.

If I'm right then by 9th January the first iteration of Bitcoin software had been released and on 12 January Nakamoto sent the first transaction that occurred in his name to Hal Finney which was his developer and partner. It seems like this transaction was sent and received at the same day.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Buy in or Bail out? on: January 15, 2021, 03:52:31 AM
Yeah, we need to be careful with XRP investments and predict all the risks we can be affected by after XRP purchasing now. I know the Ripple crew doing their best to resolve current issues but the future of XRP is still uncertain. A lot of platforms have already delisted this asset from the list. I would rather use some advice I've found on this topic and pay my attention to other coins.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's reason for pumping btc price? on: January 15, 2021, 03:22:14 AM
I think one of the points why people purchase BTC is a desire to get some profit. I can say so about me because I bought it at the end of 2020 when BTC started a crazy run to the highs and now I'm holding and wait until my investment brings me 500% of profit  Grin When BTC get $100k I'll sell it and feel relief Cheesy Probably gonna make some great surprise for my girlfriend.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell my bitcoin from 2010 on: January 12, 2021, 08:51:56 PM
I'm sure that selling such a huge amount at one time is not the best idea. You will probably get less profit than you could get if you would sell it by parts. There is a big chance that you will purchase a lot of offers with prices less than the current market price. But if you need to get a few hundred thousand $ then you can do it right now.
If you really have 50 BTC you haven't sold yet then you are really lucky one  Cool
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: January 09, 2021, 10:39:58 PM
I'm a little bit sad and regret I didn't buy BTC earlier as well. But it's fine because we must learn a lesson from this situation. I can say I had less faith in Bitcoin and digital currencies than I should have at the end of 2019 so I was scared to invest my funds. Now I'm 100% regret but I've bought BTC at the $28.000 mark because I know it will be growing more. My expectations were right and now I'm thinking that $40k it's not the bound.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: January 09, 2021, 10:24:16 PM
A large majority of peoples in the world believes on paper money. They think that this is used for buying or selling things. A currency which has a physically appearance in the world.
But the upcoming world is the world of  digital currency. Because it is easy and reliable way for sending and receiving money at any place in the world. We can send or receive money within minutes.
But there is a huge difference between both the currencies.
So, it is very difficult to adopt the digital currency in the whole world. Because mostly peoples are n't know about the new technology and they don't try this way yet. Because they don't believe on that way.
So, how we  convience the peoples to adopt digital currency?Huh

I have the same view as you my friend  Cheesy You are completely right, digital currency is our future. If we look at Bitcoin and Blockchain system we can see that it's a more transparent and faster way of funds transfer. If you know a unique hash of the transaction everyone can check the details of this operation and get ensured that it was successful.
If we take into account such systems as CipherTrace, Chainalysis, or CrystalPlatform we can make use of it and create a system of legal operations with reliable participants. All we need to do is accept existing of cryptocurrencies and digital funds, make them regulated and available for everyone and improve the economic systems of countries with the advantages of digital currencies.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: January 09, 2021, 03:51:29 PM
Yeah, sure, memes are an integral part of the content to grab attention. If you make posts on the same topic and with the same mood, then it won't attract the attention of people, especially young people. It's better to dilute with a small number of funny memes that will cheer up readers. They'll like posts, repost them and the activity will rise

I think it has a point as well. Memes are a nice tool for activity increasing. There are also chances to increase the community of the project and make some hype around it. Just look at the BTC. Probably you wouldn't find a person who hasn't heard about it nowadays. I think memes did a part of this work  Cheesy
