I had set it up one one computer that didn't work and set it up on aa different one. It created 2 controllers and just needed the first setup deleted to apply the trial to the second one so it would work. That's all. I'm looking forward to using it and it looks great.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mixing differnt L3 hash boards? on: April 04, 2021, 06:13:17 PM
I have two L3+ that came with dead boards. They are both the flat capacitor type and not the silver can type. The cooling fins are different, not in height but in shape up top. One machine has the v1.4.1 board with the straight fins and the other is v1.2 with the flat section in the middle top of the fins. Since its a pain in the ass to find the exact board version, am I able to run other flat capacitor boards or different versions in the same machine?  Basically need one v1.4.1 board that has the straight fins and two v1.2 boards that have the "T" shape on the fins. Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to bypass ""Cannot find Signature" when updating your antminer firmware. on: March 12, 2021, 02:59:45 AM
I have a L3++ that has the signature not found issue. It is the most recent firmware from bitmain as of today, so it blocks the SSH. I am ready to do the SD card option but can not find the instructions or the download for it. Any help would be appreciated.

33  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake bitcointalk site (bitminers.asia) on: January 15, 2021, 06:14:47 PM
I made an account today to comment on this. For about a month I've been trying to buy a decent miner and have ran into 20+ scam sites/vendors. I thought bitminers.asia was legit. Wrong.
Made contact with the same seller on ebay for a miner. Was given the fake thread link and a discount code. I believed the thread, but had some concerns with grammar. Went to the site anyways, looked legit and it accepted the code. Sent an email with some questions. Asked them both straight out if they were scammers and both got super defensive. This is most convincing miner scam I've ran across.

Can anyone recommend a vendor or a trusted seller here in the forums?
