21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Offerings to Cthulhu - 1.4 on the horizon, now accepted at Coinlab.info on: June 23, 2014, 06:03:37 AM
EmulatorBY, don`t know what are you talking about. Try offpool.net-com.su
It`s working. Stable.
But for the same time you are right - at the moment it`s better to mine in solo. The difficulty will allow it.

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / MPOS + quark - incorrect speed rates on: May 25, 2014, 05:23:19 AM
Hello.
I have a working securecoin/quark pool based on MPOS+stratum-mining (with quark algo support)
Recently I`ve noticed that pool displays incorrect speed rates for some miners.

Something like this.

I`ve asked for this miner - is it really high speed for a gpu rig or it is a bug.
The config was usual, nothing intersting.
Not I was unable to reproduce the same speeds using my own GPU.
And  unfortunatelly, I don`t know how to fix it.

I`ve made one more "Offrering/quark" pool, and I see that problem is the same.
MPOS show incorrect speed rates for some miners, and what is bad - exactly this miners get 98-99% of all payouts.

I noticed today the growth rate of the OFF`s on both exchanges.

I think we need to register at c-cex.com and vote for OFF cryptocurrency. The link is posted above by zeewolf

If someone needs a pool for this coin - wellcome to: http://offpool.net-com.su

p.s. and yes, it works on v.1.3

Can we add new feautures to OFF?
Example - change algo from Quark to X11 (more asic resistant).

Sorry but is there QUARK algo ASIC ?
I thought this algorithm CPU-only

ocminer, thanx for reply. That was the correct solution.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Problems in setting up SecureCoin pool with stratum support on: March 24, 2014, 04:57:40 AM
Hi everybody.
I have some problems in setting up securecoin/quark-hash algo support in stratum-mining for my SRC pool.

I have compiled securecoind , stratum-mining , installed MPOS.
Everything is launched, looks fine, but my stratum does not accepts any shares.

I`ve made stratum-mining compilation with quark support like this:

git clone https://github.com/Tydus/litecoin_scrypt.git
git clone https://github.com/ahmedbodi/stratum-mining.git
git clone https://github.com/ahmedbodi/stratum.git

cd stratum-mining
git submodule init
git submodule update

cd externals/litecoin_scrypt
python setup.py install

cd ../quarkcoin-hash/
python setup.py install

cd ../stratum
python setup.py install

And after that - in "stratum-mining/conf/config.py" I`ve changed:

COINDAEMON_ALGO = 'quark'

Everything looks fine, while launching "twistd -y launcher.tac" I see:

2014-03-21 13:25:51,940 DEBUG halfnode # ########################################### Loading Quark Support #########################################################
2014-03-21 13:25:51,940 DEBUG halfnode # ########################################### NOT Loading SHA256 Transaction Message Support ###############################################
2014-03-21 13:25:51,941 DEBUG coinbasetx # Logging initialized
2014-03-21 13:25:51,941 DEBUG block_template # Logging initialized

Looks like quark submodule is loaded, but when I`ve connected miners to my pool - they works but no shares are found and accepted.
During last three days I see something like this:

for diffrenet types of CPU miners , but no "accepted" or "YAY!!!"

I suppose something is wrong with stratum, but don`t know what actually.
Can any body help me with this problem?
