I like the idea of an all-in-one platform, decentralised social media, marketplace, dex etc.
This is what I dream Particl to become! I think the team is currently building strong tools to make that possible (decentralized voting & governance, staking reward management, a modular and flexible GUI wallet, etc). We just need a strong community to use those tools I think we'd have a very strong platform. However, if the team decide to go down this route they must be careful to prioritise, better to do a few things well than a lot badly.
Agreed, though let's not forget the team is probably gonna raise more millions with the second funding round and are going to be able to hire many more devs so we can do more at the same time! Upvoted. Still only 20 votes so far, it's not much, there should be more I think! It may be a good idea to share this voting link on as many twitter pages as you can. Or get some people who are already into AltCom to make a nice tweet about it so we can all keep on retweeting that. Have a question about the staking and my power in the net.
Why network power is changing so often?
Because each time someone stake, his coinage is removed. and do my staking coins lose the coinage after every stakes that I`m receiving?
Yes, then you need to wait 1440 confirmation to start staking again. |

I've already lost a lot of trust key since i can't let my computer running 24/24 7/7.
Hi, you could setup a VPS for 24/7. You can get them pretty cheap like on vultr or similar services. I have one for 2,50 a month  Thanks gonna check this, it's a good idea but is not it risky to host your wallet with all your coins on an external server for staking? I heard that vps service (like amazon, don't know for vultr) had access to all the data on their server as well as the history of the console input sent (passwords included) (I'm maybe a little paranoid but it's better to be safe than sorry in this space). |

hmmm, fixed it by running particld...i thought the Particl Wallet.exe would automatically start particld. Now GUI wallet is shows a message "CONNECTION REFUSED, DAEMON IS NOT CONNECTED" I've got the same error at start, i fixed it by removing particl.conf in my AppData/Roaming/Particl folder. Hope this help. hmm...i don't even have a particl.conf file This error usually happens if the daemon is already running (or in process of quitting). I actually created a particl.conf file and entered daemon=0 and now the Particl Wallet is starting without error. particld.exe still fires up so not sure why this is working. Also noticed that the new particl core 0.15.1.0 is not being downloaded automatically when starting the Particl Wallet... I even tried replacing the particld.exe in the AppData\Roaming\Particl Wallet\particld\unpacked folder with the 0.15.1.0 version and when I restarted the wallet, it reverted to 0.15.0.4 Forgot to mention before that I have cold staking setup. Do I even need to run the particld locally when I have Particl Wallet running? I've just rechecked my error with particl.conf and it's not the file who got me the error. It's when i add rpcuser=whateveruser and rpcpassword=whateverpassword in particl.conf file that the error appears. Not a huge issue IMHO but still weird. I followed the cold staking guide posted by Paul and didn't get any errors during the setup process...

I know you don't like giving ETA and i understand that, but i want to know approximately when are you going to release a client who extend the life period of the trust key (24 hours is really too short). I've already lost a lot of trust key since i can't let my computer running 24/24 7/7.
Don't get me wrong the team do an amazing job, but it's not possible to accumulate trust weight with the actual setting except for people running their computer all day(year) long.

Is it normal that in Particl Wallet GUI there's no access to coin control, options and most important to me the daemon debug console? or is it just the windows version who miss that? Except all that, it's a really cool looking wallet, i'm still going to use the qt wallet until the daemon debug console is available. Good job team. |

Edit : I've got a stake with 581 conf. and the wallet still say my coin are not mature.
Don't know min and max times, but the coin matures after 1440 confirmations. From my experience I can tell you have to wait 1440 confirmations after staking and deposit as well. You're right, 1440 confirmations and it start staking again, thanks. Now i know that my Pi2 can stake one time a day, happy staking everyone |

Leading up to the conference there was a lot of hype, which led to fomo and the price going bananas. Traders took their profits which led to the price dropping. Price is controlled by the market, not the Nexus team. The Nexus team doesn't prefer to announce big events like the conference because it leads to pump and dumps from traders.. but they had to announce the conference to make people aware of it, for them to attend. I think many people were hoping some type of huge news was going to be released at the conference and hoping for the price to explode. Huge news was released (3D Blockchain), but the price did not explode. I think the 3D Blockchain is one of the most revolutionary ideas in crypto, and it is not factored into the NXS price right now. Many big things are planned and are in development for Nexus, but the team will not give hard release dates now because of what happened to the price during the conference. That was the case for the whitepaper with a countdown. That was the case for the conference because they could release tritium during May, June, before the conference and during the conference. Tritium have not been launched during conference and WE have any date ! No date for the tritium whitepaper... The team spoke about poloniex one year ago. Any news... The only news during 2017 were the whitepaper (three years After the creation) , the conference.. "which will benefit the long term believers and supporters of Nexus" No!
