Coinwars has added JHA and NeoScrypt to the profitability chart.
Coinwarz seems to need to have better data. On the their algo comparison setting, the default hash power for X11 is 9000 KH /sec while for Jackpotcoin, it is only 3000 kH/sec. This is completely inaccurate. For AMD R9 series, JackpotCoin generates about 10% more hash power than X11. For 750ti, Jackpot does a lot more. Think they're still working on it. I just went there and it defaulted to 9k for x11 and 14k for JHA, but they don't have jpc listed anywhere in the results or coin list yet. Probably they will have hard time to find out the total net hash which is very important to calculate the profitability estimate. Also they need to plug in 10% reward reduction every week, and jackpot reward etc.. I don't think they can make an accurate estimate without api support from our community. |

The truth is Dwarfpool has been a lot more stable than any of the other pools in my experience. If the other pools can keep the same uptime and offer similar features as Dwarf, then you might see more people spread out. Also I thought the risk of any kind of 51% attack was mitigated by POS? They would require a significant amount of the available coins (stake weight) in addition to controlling 51% of the network. Am I wrong?
I don't think only Dwarfpool has been "a lot more stable". I have used MiningPoolHub since several months ago, and never experienced any significant downtime or communication issues at all. Also other pools managed them quite well except the period of that pos bug and forking issue, but it was not their fault. Dwarf's no registration "feature" seems good, but other pool's registration also has some advantages too. I am monitoring all pools' status every 2 min now. I will post it on jpcpal.com soon. Luckily JackpotCoin is pow/pos hybrid, so it may be less risky to have 51% control either on PoW or PoS, but it does not justify that we can ignore it. For better stability and security, it is always better to distribute hash power. |

dwarfpool has way more than 51% of the hash (it's ranged from around 70% to 90% over the last few minutes). I'm beginning to get orphans again solo mining, which hasn't happened since "The Fork." If miners want a healthy coin, then they need to spread the hash, else this coin just becomes like a microcoin (MRC) that in its final days could only be mined on one pool. Or would the POS eventually become large enough to save it? Almost all of the last POW blocks have gone to JdaWQx5PCseQUB96FUZ4vALkfPYFUzVG6U.
I advise Dwarfpool to raise the pool fee to 3 to 5% until their share goes down below 50% as MiningPoolHub did it before where it had more than 50% of hash power. |

We made a little change in our Jackpot Policy:
When the Jackpot is found in a PoW block, the coins will be split as with any other normal block.
When the Jackpot is found in a PoS block, the finder of the PoW block will get 100% of the coins.
Jackpots are PoW only Currently jackpot block can be found only by PoW mining, but the reward itself can be shown on the next block either by PoS and PoW. Dev is also working on a new PoS jackpot reward program !! |

It is on the first page. Superblock payout (aka the jackpot) will starts at 10X normal block payout, and grows parabolically when the distance with last superblock increases. The average interval between superblocks will be 3.5 days. The payout starts at 10X normal payout, grows to 100X at 3.5 days, and then grows to 1000X at 7 days (if the superblock not triggered). After 7 days, the payout will stay at 1000X, but at the end of the 8th day if still no superblock is triggered by the random number, the system will gradually increase the chance for a superblock until a 1000x superblock is triggered. |
