yes, you need to upgrade wallet or any blocks you find will not be accepted by the network. Difficulty algorithm has changed as well. I mean stratum-mining server part. If it will be additional transaction to Foundation wallet - this transaction should be created for every mined block. Usually with coins, who make such donations (like EMC2), needed to modify pool server software to correctly create this additional transaction for every mined block. yes, you are correct. the stratum software has to be changed to include the transaction. i will download stratum and modify it and open a github for it @ https://github.com/leafcoin . thanks for mentioning this. |

i need a little help here :
so my old wallet is : wallet.dat
the new one is multileaf.wallet > and in a new folder multi leaf ? how do i get my old wallet into the new one ?

So if leaf is merging we should see a rise in the price right?
It mean all who mine LiteCoin now can get free LeafCoins while mine LiteCoins. Why price will rise? Disappointing that you got banned but had those people agreed to receive it? if they aren't this is still considered some kind of spam.
well i didnt have explicit permission to send them. however, >70% of them are pool owners, faucet games etc.. they messaged me first about bounties, adding to op post etc etc etc. i think there was nothing wrong with what we did. unfortunately bitcointalk disagrees. we have to live up with their ( sometimes shitty but understandable ) rules. |

it means users can mine other merge mine coins at the same time for a small chance of also winning on the other coins chain, but helps secures our coin.
So the update is that you can mine merge mine coins (like UnitedScryptCoin, Orgcoin, Pesetacoin, etc) with Leafcoin as the parent? Not that Leafcoin is merge mineable as the child chain? How is that an update? It's not like Litecoin issued an update for USC to work... no leafcoin is a child like unitedscryptcoin, etc..... |

50 is mass? these were all users that messaged me first ( took them from history )
we will never agree with each other.
also i think 2 weeks is quite a penalty
those spamming forum threads get 7 days afaik.

apparently this was/is a mistake yes.
just sending some pvt messages (50) out about updates gets you banned for 14 days.
users appreciated it ( according to their responses ).. but apparently someone found it necessary to report.
we will find other ways.
i am reading about a fee to get unbanned?

Hi,
I am the developer of leafcoin and apparently i have been banned with my main mcg account.
The reason that i was banned was for unsolicited PM spam.
We have send out some 50 PM messages announcing a new update for our leafcoin client.
The users included were pool owners, faucet owners and perhaps a couple of regular users.
There was nothing malicious or bad intentions in these PMs.
This was the only way to do this since we didnt update the pszMainkeys in alert.cpp and didnt have the litecoin private keys to send out messages.
We changed all that ( and more ) so this would be the last time we do it like this.
So why did i get banned? Since previously there didnt seem to be any problem ( same users, same message, more then month ago ).
Can you lift this ban?
