I think that in order to be successful that ICO project need to use every opportunity to advertise the project in the media, as well as trying to perform the Google AdWords advertising. OK so I bought ETH a while back when it was 600 dollars.
Now that ETH is 275 is it a good move to sell my ETH and buy back in? Wouldnt profit be faster when market picks up like that or not?

When you're down this much and only considering selling because of the price change instead of looking at fundamentals, I think you would not cut losses but panic sell. Let me ask you one question: What was your N1 reason to buy Ethereum? |

Don't be, all of this that you are seeing right now in the market is normal. The more the bitcoin goes down the more red you are going to see in the market which is why everyone should gear up now for the bear that we are in now. It might take a while before the market recovers to a better price but don't let fear get the better of you.
Exactly, it seems as if people entered in this market without looking at the past of bitcoin, if you look at some previous charts you will see that what we are looking right now is not really out of the ordinary, this has happened before, it happened again and it will happen in the future, and if you want to remain in this market an earn profits you need to be able to deal with all of that. Exactly right, unfortunately people are not looking at the bigger picture and get hung up in the current cycle they are...very few just zoom out and look at charts a few years ago. Big mistake. when I look at current market conditions, I feel afraid that the prices of bitcoin and altcoin will not rise again. because market conditions have long since plummeted and many altcoin prices have dropped dramatically. but I must be optimistic and confident that market conditions will stabilize.
Maybe you should stop analyzing this market with your feelings and look at historical data as some people have suggested if you look back a few pages on this thread. It's always the same, when things are in a bull run everyone feels this will go on and when we are in a longer bear market you get the never ending "I feel it'sover" |

The mission of cryptocurrency is to open up a transparent consensus of information to replace third parties instead of banknotes, reduce the burden on the state, reduce resources, and allow more people to have their own rights. Temporary encryption technology is still relatively immature, and we will soon see results in the near future.
I think the mission is bigger than just remove 3rd parties but it is one of the positive side effects that 3rd parties will no longer be necessary in many transactions in the future. |

Not cryptocurrency, but blockchain technology will change the world. Cryptocurrency is just one part of this technology. Cryptocurrencies are not yet able to replace cash, they are inconvenient to use and too volatile.
I agree that blockchain will have a much bigger impact on our world that currencies. Payments are only the first area where blockchain can have a transformational impact. But I think the biggest innovations will be in areas outside of the finance world. Maybe in 10 years everything runs on blockchains! |

You are right, at the moment ICOs are heavily overpriced and the investors pay the high price when trying to sell these projects on the exchanges. This year was a desaster, i also was very unlucky. I think we will see a lot less people investing in the future until the prices are getting to a point where people can make profits again. |

And in addition to Zilliqa as an alternative blockchain, I also really like Ontology. I haven't yet pulled the trigger on either as I think they could drop a bit more from here, but I'm watching them both closely.
What does Ontology have to do with Zilliqa? From my understanding ontology is not a blickchain but an utility token based on NEO intended to help businesses to integrate their processes with blickchains. Definetely also something that has a strong use case. |

I do believe in NEO, as it seems really promising for the future, today many ICO projects start to use it. But I don't think it is good time to buy now, as the market is not growing strong.
NEO has not been doing well lately and most projects still run on Ethereum which I don‘t understand if NEO is the next generation and from I hear can also handle a lot more transaction. Anybody got a clue why we don‘t see more projects on NEO? |

I was a part of korona coin signature campaign from the bountyhive portal after working of 3-4 months i get to know that ICO did not reached the soft cap and i was not awarded any thing....that has caused me depression now....how the hell i choose a good bounty...after doing some research users suggested me bountyhive is good and i got this...what now...how to choose a good bounty that atleast pays somthing...some say good bounty managers but some of those campaign pays as well.....which ico rating sites are best for this please help.... Currently which is the best campaign to join can anyone suggest....  that is the risk that must be received from the bounty if the ICO is not successful, I have also experienced it, after working for 2 months I got nothing and I was very upset about it. but it has passed, the important thing is we have to take lessons from that, there are some suggestions that you must consider before you take part in the bounty: - The team. Avoid bounty of a project that does not have a great background on cryptos and etc. However, some good coins out there has an anonymous team, so this rule can not be applied to every condition. - The manager's reputation. If a manager is a newbie or something like that, proceed with extreme caution, unless it is clear that those account newbies are an official account from the team. - Funds, whether it is escrowed or not. Escrowed bounty is the one you should look for, however, there is not many out there. I think this is some very good advice. It takes more discipline to go the extra mile and look for projects that is run by experienced people but it is absolutely worth it. Also the campaign manger is very important. I think very few people run a check on who is actually managing the campaign |

You have to understand that this is just normal and it i'm quite sure that this is only temporary. First, You must remain calm and just hold your tokens for a while, whatever the reasons of market's red status, im pretty confident that this will pass, on the the contrary, this might be a great opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a lower price and i'm quite sure that its value will once again recover or probably surpass its highest value ever recorded. Very uplifting words! So far always a bull market has followed a bear market, and if you zoom out a few years you will see that we are still in a steep uptrend, regardless the 6 months correction. Just hang in tight. |

I think the crypto market is experiencing a similar pattern as the previous years when it started. A slow rise and fall of prices during the early and mid part of the year and a steep rise at the end. I would start getting afraid when during the fourth quarter of this year and still the prices is in the dip.
It’s always good to look at historical data to get a better perspective. Also when you zoom out a bit more you will see many patterns that seem to repeat itself. Therefore I am optimistic that things will turn around in Q4. |

I'm not afraid to look at the market, I've seen its ups and downs and so I'm calm, I just have to work and keep abreast of the news, getting rid of unpromising coins and buying more promising coins. The cryptosphere is still very young and I am very pleased to feel like a pioneer.
Indeed this market is still very young and we are kinda the pioneers. I would aso not worry too much about the prices. Personally I am buying as I know I get good value. Prices being low means that it is a good opportunity for the investors and not the other way around. |

When you're scared, And everybody scared. At that time I thought the market would go up. This market is a game of whales and sharks. They are manipulating and controlling this market. I sold some bitcoin at $ 6000 when I was scared. But then bitcoin has gone up 8000$. And I will decide to hold until the bitcoin reaches 20000$
Nice move, most people did the opposite and bought when btc reached 15k and above. I am buying currently as the market dipped and many people freak out. Prices being low means that it is a good opportunity for the investors and not the other way around. |
