To all reading, here are several facts that remain after all this FUD:
1. Keycoin had an incredibly fair launch. Verified by independent sources 2. Developers have been vetted by Coinssource, with a review article about Keycoin 3. Both the development team and the Keycoin code have been reviewed, verified and praised by Dan Metcalf, the developer of XCurrency 4. Since the launch on July 15, devs have posted/updated about progress everyday and has been delivering on every promise thus far
It's unfortunate that some people don't look at the facts and are too easily scared away by all these Fudders. I haven't heard a single Fudder address these facts so far. Why? because they know they can't.
Very well-put, RichardT. I completely agree with what you posted. I've been following KEY since its launch and I've seen the developers deliver on every promise. They truly care about their names/reputations and accomplishments in the crypto community. I know they'll continue to work hard to keep KEY successful. I sold all my alt holdings days ago and I'm all in on KEY. Way to go KeyCoin Team. Keep up the game-changing work.

and I support anything that can have a positive effect on the path to greater freedom and I regard crypto-currency as key part of the solution to a decentralized and free society. I See what you did there... ;)Dan Metcalf LOL! He's like, so INTENTIONAL, man! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif)

Shilling crypt? I still would love to see the crypt project find success, but I'm not going to stand around and ignore the fact that the project is a month over its deadline either. When mindfox releases his anon I'm sure there will be further innovation in that coin. We're all upset and anxious so I understand your frustration.
The scorpion and the Frog is in my nature? Do you stop and consider that you kind of sound a bit out there when you make such statements? You don't know anything about my nature. It sounds like you're trying to sound credible while injecting fud and false accusations in to my personality. Please, don't attack my personal character with lies and deception. I have no intention of "dumping" anything and parachutes are not required. My goal is to back something that can be unique, and continuously improved and built upon. I intend to make KEY this coin.
perhaps, instead of deceiving people, you should offer some suggestions as to what innovation should be added. I encourage you and everyone else to dream big. I am listening and I want to make something big happen here.
Excellent reply, sir. Thank you. People, take note; this is the difference between a professional and a troll.

Security is KEY
We have completed our first feature add on in a long line of many forthcoming features. Our Anon system is live and working after extensive testing.
Liftoff! Score! Touchdown! Goal Unit! I'm so happy right now. If I had champagne, I would open it.

I just sent KEY from my wallet to Bittrex and it took about 6 minutes. Not sure what's happening behind the curtain, but that was an incredibly FAST transaction!
Let me clearly clarify just to be clear: It was not in my "pending deposits"; It was in my "available balance" at Bitrrex in 6 minutes!

Keycoin devs here.
News coming today. Writing release info and a user guide now.
Anon is done, functional, using a masternode system that uses encrypted communication between nodes to avoid leaving trails in the blockchain.
![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F1PhZuvx.jpg&t=663&c=zjeY8TPdy_qzOg) HEAR YE, HEAR YE, ALL YE WHALES! We'll probably see some dumps on this news, but, well....that would just be moronic.

I can tell you for a fact that is coming! We're going to custom theme the TAILS as well to make it match KEY ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) . Were in the last couple hours of anon, the dev for wallet recompile is out for a moment taking care of some IRL. The guide for how to use anon is being written as we speak, the nodes are up and have been tested and work. Get ready guys! Our first major tech roll out is here! Maybe an implementation of "tails" or something similar on a flash drive with an integrated keycoin wallet. Would allow you to access tor network and your wallet encrypted and anonymous from any pc or mac.
That would be fantastic ! The day hath arrived! Exciting news, indeed. Let there be silence in the land of FUD.

Hello, dev update.Checking in because I said I'd be sure to everyday. We all have been working 8-12 hours a day and need a break this day. We will be back tomorrow with more news. To keep the investors and KEY holders happy I will give a little tease into our master project. Anon and Tor support are part of this. Here is a hint. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.alibaba.com%2Fimg%2Fpb%2F080%2F148%2F325%2F325148080_697.jpg&t=663&c=iXxp-sQPsXnyqg) Thanks for the update! Is that a USB drive?! Very nice.

July 19, 2014: Updates from KEY Developers.
Hello all,
Tor nodes are running but are still in testing. They are currently at:
addnode=sy4mk7kcf5wy7od.onion addnode=pmgisvikfkw2ertq.onion addnode=3oyjqy4olc6jkmz4.onion
but we are still doing some testing. I post this update to meet my promises of daily updates. They will be live soon. The Tor nodes are part of a larger project we have in store but have not announced yet.
The anonymous coin sending system is still under testing. We are aiming for a launch day of Wednesday - please note this is not 100% solid but it is the target. If there is any delay it won't be much more time.
A sponsored a KEY logo contest is currently running on 99designs.com.
More updates coming soon. We will check in at least daily, yesterday we updated three times.
Yo Dev, Thank you for keeping promises of daily updates. Although that's the easy part, it still means a lot. Essentially, you're establishing a pattern of trust. I dig it. I'm really hoping you deliver that anon tech by Wednesday! If you make good on that target date, forget the moon, KeyCoin will go clear to Mars. And you've seriously got me curious about the "TOR nodes [being] part of a larger project..." Thanks again!

Once again why is the MAIN dev of crypt supporting Key...... Odd its like Target selling Walmarts products..... Does not happen. Also the same people supporting this coin are in the same P&D group.
MeAndYou, Are you a conspiracy theorist? 'Cuz you sound like a conspiracy theorist. Got a tin foil hat on while reading this I bet. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

A FUD two-fer! Bash CryptCoin and KeyCoin simultaneously. Geez...
MeAndYouForever has his panties in a bunch about something. Lol.
And to help squelch FUD re: Crypt, it is my understanding that despite the delay, CryptCoin is still being actively developed.
I HATE un-due FUD. Smh.

July 18, 2014: Updates from KEY Developers. Third update today.
Hello all,
Tor nodes are being set up now, we will post the addresses for those who wish to use them. They are being set up as part of a larger project that we haven't announced yet.
Anonymous sending tech is currently working, and in testing. We will have a functional beta release in one week, possibly sooner. We'll provide more details on its workings ASAP but we're really busy right now.
Funds are currently being raised to sponsor a KEY logo contest. We're deciding if we should do it on the forums or with one of the professional site contest holders like 99designs.com.
More updates coming soon. We will check in at least daily, yesterday we updated twice.
Thanks, y'all. Active devs Forward momentum Upward trend Positive, excited community buzz This...could...go...all...the...way... ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

July 18, 2014: KEY Update
KEY Proof-of-Work has ended and the coin has gone into full POS.
Thank you for helping us mine securely through the small blocks at the end of POW.
We're currently working together the KEY website, and today we leased more servers to start testing some features.

July 18, 2014: More news from KEY Developers. Second update today ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)
We're now listed on coinmarketcap.com and doing quite well.
A website is under development, for now our holding page is up at www.keycoincrypto.com
As mentioned in the previous post, we leased more servers. We are now running 8 nodes for the coin, all staking to increase POS network health.
12 more servers have been rented so we can implement our anonymous coin sending technology. We aren't making a huge deal out of this yet, but yes, it is working, being tested, and yes, it will be completely finished and released in the next few days. We will have explanations and infographics closer to the release - for now, we don't want to hype things up too much. More features are coming, and will be announced closer to their completion.
KeyCoin Devs
This hint of anon is freakin' significant if it works. Holding and watching. Thanks for being so active, devs.

I take back everything I said about KeyCoin. Please accept my apologies for being so quick to judge. Although I bought some just now, I remain optimistically skeptical - if that's even a thing. I see some trustworthy names saying good things about KeyCoin here and on Twitter, so I'm officially changing my tune.
Thanks a ton! This is really encouraging to see. We're diligently working on KEY, daily, and we'll keep the community updated daily, too. We have every intention of proving KeyCoin's value as we show continuing progress and development. We're not making huge announcements about other announcements, or making empty promises, but, instead, we're moving consistently at a steady pace. I'M FORGIVEN!! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Awesome response, ya'll. So good to have some level-headed devs representing their work. Professionalism is hard to come by in the crypto-community. I'm watching this thread, Twitter, and Bittrex so intently that I've got to be careful not to neglect my IRL responsibilities. Keep up the great work, fellers!
