Since Coin needs as many as possible 24x7 nodes, I have enabled it on my desktop PC. Make sure you set gen=0 that why it does not use any CPU.

edit your virtualcoin.conf file and add " gen=0 " that way you can run on a PC 24x7 without (or very little) CPU usage (less than 1%).

Very stable, Dev please do not change anything now, the last thing we want is forking or other issues we had many months back. If you look around their are so many coins out their that are facing these issues, I don't see that in VC.

Leave it as it is.

Damn - what's up with that font? Seems like everybody posting in that thread like huge colorful font. Wait a sec... all of those aren't you, are they OP?

LOL

I am sure anyone can use these fonts & even you must have used it in the past, RED always stand out compare to other colors. So I must have 1000s accounts by ur supposition.

Anyway, yes I support VC (now), in the past supported Dark Coin & Particle Coin, both let me down. If I see another new Coin that looks promising, I will switch my support again, but for now sticking with Virtual Coin.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] Next BITCOIN ? on: August 04, 2014, 11:27:45 PM
Hi, which one you think would be a next Bitcoin level coin, I have been betting on Virtual Coin & seeing price rise 250% yesterday.

I think scrypt based coins are dead, it has to be either X11 or something similar.

what you guys think?

I don't think Virtual Coin is going anywhere it is here to stay mark my word, after a year it will compete along Bitcoin. World is moving digital, so will currency be.
I had to read that twice;
Quote
I don't think Virtual Coin is going anywhere
Luckily you meant it was going to "go places" I guess. lol

LOL... what I meant was that it is here to stay. Had it been a pump & dump coin, dev or other members would have got it listed on popular exchange & dump it overnight for quick profit, it did not happened & may never happen. It is slowing start getting new tools to use it in real life. let's not change it into some speculation coin only meant for exchange with no other real purpose.

NICE  Grin

I have 1 PC running Sapphire Tri-OC 290X & happy to mine considering still low difficulty, no more big whales pumping the hashrate up like last week, so I will continue. At least don't need mining rig to get some coins, as scrypt coins are dead due to ASIC, so worthless mining them at this time.

Let's all home users mine the shit out of this coin before some big whale dick moves back with mining rig Wink

I am still connected with the coin & have been mining since launch. I am also volunteering my time & effort to make Virtual Coin the next bitcoin. I suggest we keep focus on future road map. I don't know about others, but I have full faith in the coin. Once we have shopping module ready, I will donate my share of the coins either in VC or Bitcoin.

this coin will be great keep on mining

I confirm. I do not sell at such a low price and still mining Cool

No matter what Virtual Coin is still the best coin. I started mining early & will keep it this way.

e1ghtSpace, at least I have a signature to support VC. What about your contribution?

Once Virtual Coin gets module for buy/sell as currency. It should not be heard for it to get Bitcoin status & maybe value.

Guys we should help out with getting module up & running.

Difficulty is 87

It's getting serious.

WoW, glad to bet on the right horse, I knew Virtual Coin was the dark horse. I have told my friends to buy it once it hits Bittrex exchange.

Ummm, what's all the excitement over?  Please fill me in briefly, I don't even see an exchange for this coin???

Just went to mineP.it pool & notice the hash power reported is over 3 times that of dark coin, 1590 MHash. Holly crap went from 10Mhash on friday to 159 times now.

My personal reasons I joined VC were simple, not many coins out their are TRUE No-Premine, No Pre-IPO, overnight pump & dump coin, very good & catchy name "Virtual Coin", nice logo, X11 based, active development & plus just look at the Poll, so much positive support.

Tested new 11.3.1 windows version, no issues with sync. It seems to be much faster, all I did was deleted only exe & replace it with new one. My wallet & blocks sync without any issues, seems dev nailed down those issues finally.

GREAT JOB DEV Smiley

agx.io is scam.

I have to agree, lost all my bitcoins last month, they claimed were stolen from their exchange. I don't know the real story, but be very careful.

I highly recommend with ANY exchange, do not leave your bitcoins in their wallet for too long, safest is store it in your own wallet unless you want to exchange.

Noticed BONUS coin rewards will drop very soon, maybe in next week or so, based on current block #.

Gr8t coin, yeap agree with rest of you guys, expect coin to hit huge by end of this year.

Since it is not pre-mined, we all regular supporters should also help out in promoting it. Maybe Dev can look into code, but rest of us should, work on getting coin listed, promoted on FB & TW.

My wallet is synched it still does not let me solo mine from it says the pool is dead I've solo mined a dozen coins before.

are you solo mining or pool? I am confuse.

If using pool, try the 2 pools listed as up.

if solo, it is easy, you need a X11 miner. Look at this main page for download. Do not use "scrypt" settings. I have got close to 2.5Mhash on 290X.

Was going to add some hash to this but cannot sync the wallet. No connections even adding the mentioned nodes trying to get started.

I got 12 nodes connected. Not sure why you would have this issue, try adding one of these...

Virtual Coin is on roll, no issues since last week upgrade to version 9.1.6 & noticed difficulty & hashrate is picking up speed. I am glad I am mining now, or by next week payout will be very low.

IPO = SCAM

Why not declare your coin "NO PREMINE", let us all mine equally... I know u would NOT dare to do it.
You should read the first comment before call us scammer. We have trusted escrow...

is that the reason, why your original thread voting result says Most users dislike this IPO sh!t. I will not pay a dime to get your coins.
Even bitcoin or litecoin never charged anyone for coins, anyone could mine it for "FREE".

What you have to say about that now? over 38% disapproves it.
