Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding buying hashrate from hashflare, if i buy for example for $500 of sha256 (2.2 th/s approximately), do i pay $500,- for a year or is it $500,- per month?
May'be i stupid question for some people here, but i been away for a year for work, so didn't do anything with crypto for a year.
Thanks Fra Mauro

Almost done... Having some last minute issues here.. And Luc created us a slack channel tonight.. I don't use slack myself, so I need to get the hang of it first.. But I think I'll manage ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I tested a bootstrap load with a clean wallet today, and it was fully loaded and synced within 45-55 minutes.. In comparison to a fresh sync without bootstrap which takes about 2-3 hrs.. I will include the bootstrap with the wallet release.. Meanwhile.. keep staking guys! The network weight is having an overall steady rise the last few days ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm staking since early november and will keep on staking. Keep up the good job ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Nice volume on c-cex, i guess we're not getting delisted any more...
You're right, CHIP is not in their delist list anymore. Not sure if that's a good thing, as C-Cex will continue staking with user funds.. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F8Wh5Bpm.jpg&t=663&c=MkcUsuN80f2Z3w) So get funds out of c-cex, download chip wallet and send your funds to your wallet and only when you want to trade some coins send them back. Stake your own funds in your own wallet ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Just curious to know why an exchange staking with user funds is wrong? Is this not the same concept that modern banks use when you store your fiat money in a bank account? I never said it was wrong, i said if you wanna earn your stake, keep it in your own wallet. So my question would be, why is an exchange keeping my stake, it's an exchange not a bank??? Isn't that the whole purpose of bitcoin (or any other crypto) being your own bank??

what abut adding a new exchange like bittrexx?? becuz ccex is delisting us.. banzai? and whats up with the campaign.. curious to see how it will boost investors and price.. We will have a signature campaign coming soon, followed by a twitter campaign to spread the word about CHIP
Be my guest and bomb them with tweets.. I may have taken the lead in this takeover.. That doesnt mean I am responsible for getting us on more exchanges etc.. Its even better when the community is asking them, instead of the " dev " himself. As far as c-cex.. I warned the community about this the last time we got on the delisting list.. Almost nobody took the effort of trading over there instead of yobit. It also seems c-cex is staking with user funds.. I don't like that at all.. I understand why they do that.. But it's not right at all.. The funds they are staking with are not theirs.. So to be real honest here.. I dont mind getting delisted from c-cex.. @Fedor.. Please keep it english so I can read what you are saying.. I can't do anything with a russian pm either.. I have been in contact with aikapool.com before and during the swap. I requested multiple times that they updated to the latest source during the PoW period. But they did not do that.. That is why their pool was removed from the OP during the PoW period of the latest source. Even when the swap period was over I pmd them that they should close the pool.. It seems they did not do that.. Even today someone is still mining there.. I can tell you now.. The time for me to compensate people who mined on the old chain is over.. There is no need to keep that chain alive anymore.. If you send coins from aikapool to your new chipcoin wallet or exchange.. Its simply lost.. Its a completely different coin so to speak. Lol, honest dev ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . You are right, better not to be listed on shady exchanges like cex, cryptsy, ... , it's just an pump&dump game. The best is if people ask them to add coin. If coin is success, they will all list it without a need to ask. Patience is always the key. Nice volume on c-cex, i guess we're not getting delisted any more...

Guys, Is c-cex working??? or any other exchange, 'cause i'm on block 603581 and c-cex is on block 600772 ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) We asked C-Cex to stop Deposits/Withdrawals when faced a sync problems. So they stopped. We will ask to check all and open it again when network stabilizes. okay thanks, i will wait until everything is working again and everyone is on the right chain before i buy some more coins.

This really gets a mess. Previous post from dev for block 598473 seems to be ok. getblockbynumber 598473 "proofhash" : "000008d1c209665b7427e9f412a3e991b9d97224c228d4afbdbd4ad4d794b1ef" the last one for block 599444 is completely wrong again: getblockbynumber 599444 "proofhash" : "000bfe9a9c34a3649c9f8a93618c18861835c2e7db7ba355bd06fc16afd98961" What is wrong and why I lose the right chain all the time? I just resync the wallet from scratch yesterday. the honest answer... because dev hasn't banned the people on the wrong chain What do you mean?!? Any advise how to fix that? The only real way to fix this, is to have ambercoin01.mooo.com start banning connections. I agree. But as I have posted I cannot connected to ambercoin01.moo0.com. I get 0 connections and my wallet never syncs. Maybe this node is overloaded and cannot support any more connections or there is some limit on the connections it will accept but whatever it is, if people cannot connect it is not a solution. Also, you must set listen to 0 (listen=0) in your wallet .conf file or it will listen for other connections and accept them. So you could wind up connecting to a bad node again and then off to a fork. At least I believe that's how it works. NO NO NO don't set that to 0... set it to 1 so that it can connect to ambercoin01 rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcallow=localhost rpcport=31981 listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0 addnode=ambercoin01.mooo.com is my conf Guys, LISTEN=1 or 0 means at what port it must connect, if you have listen=1 and rpcpport=31981 then it will connect to port 31981. If you got Listen=0 it will not connect to rpcport 31981. It has nothing to do with your addnodes. If you make a config file with only the addnodes (so without deamon=1 and server=1 etc...) your wallet will still connect to the addnodes in you config file. This is my config: server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcport=31981 addnode=108.61.173.201 addnode=188.163.90.183 addnode=88.198.100.148 everything is working fine here. 20:21:59  getblockbynumber 594177 20:21:59  { "hash" : "00000000215b5309e034ccf4a4b4091a0d874d52980b5cc867c554f7e7c4e1a9", "confirmations" : 5341, "size" : 186, "height" : 594177, "version" : 6, "merkleroot" : "0cf807f825350135af1b5d22d590e4873ac225092bbb991a37de06778e0e7450", "mint" : 0.50000000, "time" : 1448630660, "nonce" : 4263179624, "bits" : "1d010426", "difficulty" : 0.98403856, "blocktrust" : "fbeaef62", "chaintrust" : "53a684f73fa2e6", "previousblockhash" : "00000000b7142d1d2c327f14f0def30b56eefb94548395c3732b9e8aa8997256", "nextblockhash" : "e3dd4eacf4582fa922c6c1d4e910e1ec067b91adbe4b5f79790f977bacae1145", "flags" : "proof-of-work", "proofhash" : "00000000215b5309e034ccf4a4b4091a0d874d52980b5cc867c554f7e7c4e1a9", "entropybit" : 1, "modifier" : "9c5bc1cbb554c637", "modifierchecksum" : "3a6d5ef8", "tx" : [ "0cf807f825350135af1b5d22d590e4873ac225092bbb991a37de06778e0e7450" ] }
