21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Flux solo mining on: January 12, 2022, 05:26:52 PM
Could be possible before but now it's more harder, go on Reddit for answers you will see few people with high end mining rigs that solo mine flux and solve no block for days, don't do it safe yourself some time and mine using pool
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shihou Inu - Anime Metaverse on the ETH Network on: January 12, 2022, 05:17:18 PM
Out of all meme coins that are available the good ones are already well known, shiba, saitama, kishu and few others but still shiba add more valuable utilities to their project that every other meme coins I don't know how this project is going to turn out but it depends on the developer and teams
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Easiest Altcoin to Mine advice on: October 21, 2021, 05:55:46 PM
Go to unmineable.com this is a website with pool that brings coins like shiba inu and others to miners with ease, many other coins that aren't even pow algorithm enabled are present on this website including holo, funfair, decentraland, 1inch and many more
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for cheap electricity on: October 20, 2021, 04:15:23 PM
Build solar energy, your ROI will be longer but you won't regret it this has been proven to be better than grid electricity and even more profitable on the long run, dyor

Yep show me how you build a 1MW to 10MW Solar farm Roll Eyes
Are you saying it's not possible? Check out this guys post and see his solar mining farm, also OP just need to hire solar installation experts any KW or MW solar system can be installed, if you have the money go for it

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Windows Lag on ASUS B250 Mining Expert on: October 19, 2021, 03:35:04 PM
you must install Windows on GPT partition and boot Windows in UEFI mode to properly use 5+ cards.
Does this have anything to do with my motherboard with 6x pcie slots that only boots with 5 GPUs? Anything over 5 GPU the motherboard won't boot up at all 🤔🤔 so weird and confusing
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Usb sticks don't last long for mining? on: October 19, 2021, 03:26:15 PM
USD sticks aren't meant to be used constantly. You should use them to store data. They are not for constantly writing/reading data. For that purpose, just get a SSD. If you can't afford an SSD, get an HDD. There are some ultra durable SD cards but I don't recommend them neither because you can get bigger faster multiple SSD's for the same price.

Writing is bad, actually erasing is bad. If you never have to erase it will last longer. SSDs have the same issue
but to a much lesser degree because they use higher quality flash memory. Frequently overwritten data should
use a RAM drive or a mechanical HDD.

HDD's might cause performance issues though. Assuming that you mine with GPU's here, you still don't do that much write/reads on the disk anyway. (I mean it is still much more than a USB stick can handle)

If you can't read and send the data in time, practically you will get a lower hashrate.

Most of the time an HDD will be enough but I just don't like them making noise and shit. Once you get an SSD, there isn't really turning back. They are cheap nowadays too.
Na usb stick read and write is slower than HDD with rpm7200 mate, if you getting low hashrate pls check your GPU settings not the HDD, I play online games on HDD and my monitor as low ms, with fast internet connection you won't have any problems, my rigs with HDD get the exact MH I'm supposed to get from any graphic cards
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'm confused on: October 18, 2021, 07:24:24 AM
I've made up my mind to keep adding GPUs once I have the money, probably add one GPU every two months or so, what majority are scared for is mining at loss but they forget that you aren't really at loss untill you sell your coins, bear market has high advantage than bull market but many won't want to accept this
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages Of Crypto, Disadvantages of Crypto on: October 18, 2021, 07:11:29 AM
The hack part isn't crypto disadvantage but the users/owners faults, I've never heard about BTC getting compromised by hackers or any kind, I've only heard about stolen private keys either through mail scam or phishing which clearly is users fault
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GRV Gravity token is a complete rug on: October 16, 2021, 10:00:13 AM
This token is a rebase token and it's not the first, my past experience about rebase tokens is they can't be trusted, it's more like a scheme of milking out your money every minutes until you are left with nothing, any rebase project I'm off
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for good speculative coins to mine on: October 16, 2021, 09:44:59 AM
Yeah and xec is up to 0.00017389

I went in at              0.00002700 I pruchased 2 million  about 55 usd and mined 3.3 million

I sold the 2 million for   about 0.00014 or 280 and I am holding over 3.3 million coins

all in about 1 month

I got over 18million fork coins for my bch.  Cheesy
How can I claim mine? I used to hold large amount of BCH in the past and I never got any xec, can someone please drop me info on how to go about this maybe I'm already having access to a coin I never knew I had?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Veil has no future? on: October 15, 2021, 02:32:30 PM
I once held this coin. Veil really had some hype at a point in time riding on the wave of established privacy coins such as Montero. It's sad to see this coin not really developing. The price has really gone down.
I've gave up on veil project because I noticed that the team are not bringing new idea to the platform after the bee hive mining thing, it's been like 3 years already but nothing still even while DeFI and NFT are taking over veil team did nothing new
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining profitable now on: October 15, 2021, 12:19:29 PM
Litecoin Cash got on october 4th a new hive mining.
Some miners say, it is very profitable now.
Perhaps taking a look?
SHA-256, limit: 840,000,000 coins, brother of Litecoin

This post made me curious so I thought to check it out Litecoin Cash.I can see this is a good pump and dump coin for ASIC miners, probably they make a ton of this coin a day and this has had about 17% in the last 24 hours which is not that bad. However if I had an ASIC I would mine other coins more established ones like Litecoin rather than this.
I have a friend who bought an ASIC miner just for Veil coin only, this coin is extremely profitable for ASIC miner users, they've made lots of money mining this coin and selling off on exchanges
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to avoid cheap farm build on: October 13, 2021, 12:29:32 PM
2013:

miner: i need this setup
electrician: (fucking idiot nerds, well...as long as i get paid) yes sir!

2021:

miner: i need this setup
electrician: you must be making a bank out of this sir!

The interesting thing is while people think miners are earning a lot of money mining today, truth is miners used to earn a lot lot more money in 2013 ehhe
Yes you are right metroid but I was not in good shape in 2013 to even think about building mining rigs, I have no funds or stable income at that time, anyways maybe in 2026 new miners like us today will be told the same thing you saying right now
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: When I mine ERGO by 3070 LHR , need to enable LHR mode ? on: October 13, 2021, 12:23:57 PM
Ergo mining on a LHR graphic cards is fully unlocked mate there is no need to do anything, just plug in your GPU and use the right mining software to mine ergo direct, don't do anything else, LHR only affects Ethereum mining
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / It is what it is on: October 12, 2021, 01:03:22 PM
Lessons I've learnt from bear market

1. No one wants bear market 😂
2. The unwanted market will eventually comes and caught many unprepared
3. Many projects of 2020 and 2021 will die a slow painful death
4. More ban on crypto will come
5. Some countries will start saying nonsense about crypto again and the market will go down even more
6. Every whales next move will target next BTC halving again, it's all cycle
7. Long term holders will become the next new whales again
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Risers differences on: October 12, 2021, 12:50:21 PM
Both new and old risers will work perfectly and it's also smarter to keep extras around because you can never know when they will stop working, buy any that your money can buy
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I want to buy GPUs from Alibaba on: October 12, 2021, 12:42:30 PM
Yes Alibaba is safe for buying almost anything and I've bought over 6 graphic card on this website, here are things to look out for because the website isn't scam free either

1. Make sure the seller is fully verified ☑️

2. Make sure the seller page has refund policy activated aka trade assurance

3. Make sure seller have sold many items and have been on Alibaba for minimum of 2 years

Follow these rules
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The future of old gpus on: October 11, 2021, 02:28:55 PM
As crazy as this may sounds it's true, I still play PC games using gtx660ti from 2012 and till date some games still runs very well on this old Nvidia graphics card, even some new less demanding games still runs on medium settings using gtx660ti including GTA 5 so old GPUs are still useful no matter how you view them, the 2GB memory is why they aren't worth mining with anymore
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China says all crypto transaction are illegal on: October 11, 2021, 02:12:51 PM
This is just another FUD from China, if you've been around crypto since past years you should know that most FUD and bans comes from China so I wouldn't let this bother me if I were you guys, aren't illegal transactions occuring around FIAT too? What makes CBDC so illegally free? Absolute FUD
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HD7970 and GTX970 on: October 11, 2021, 01:57:31 PM
I feel like it's already too late to buy new GPUs fir mining right now because mining profitability is on a walking time bomb as we speak, if it's true that crypto market will follow same move of 2017 then we are just few months away to bear market, now it's better to buy coins instead of taking risks with graphic cards
