21  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which social media do you prefer? on: May 21, 2021, 07:25:46 PM
These are the popular ones today.

- Facebook
- Twitter
- Instagram
- YouTube
- Reddit
- Skype
- Tiktok
and many more.

I prefer Facebook, that's what my most relatives use and I'm also using YT.

Youtube for learning and research. Facebook for user groups, reddit for solutions to tech problems.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you play any musical instruments? on: May 21, 2021, 08:48:25 AM
I want to learn playing the piano, and I am looking for some advice on it. But feel free to share anything about you playing different instruments here Smiley

Hi Piano is a great instrument to learn. You can get the idea of melody, chords and rhythm from learning it. It is also the perfect foundation to learn any other instrument. Also if you learn to play drums your rhythm will be impeccable. I learned guitar, bass guitar, drums and looking back I think i would have progressed much quicker had I learned piano first.

I believe, Taiwan is one of the best nations to successfully prevented and controlled the epidemic right from the start. Even before covid19 became a global outbreak, Taiwan was already testing and quarantining travellers that were coming from Wuhan, China. As of today, they only had a total of 1,153 cases with 12 deaths.

Taiwan has cases now, as does Singapore. The Indian strain is extremely contagious.

Which country is the best country in New Coronavirus epidemic prevenNtion and control?

Its hard to say which country is the best because every country is different. Some countries can not shut their borders and have big populations, other countries can close their borders because they are self sufficient and have a small population. There are certain measures a government can take to slow down the spread but depending on the mindset of the population it may not be enforceable. I am in Australia and we are handling it well, but I know north of us in East Indonesia they are handling it well as well, due to the fact they are islands so it is easy to close the ports when needed. I think as humans we should just identify that certain variables and situations exist the virus is easy to spread. And one of the variables is the mindset of the people and the ability of the government to enforce protocols.
27  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tesla's are garbage, let's get something else on: May 18, 2021, 08:53:37 PM
Depending where you are and your governments political position you may not know about BYD. BYD is the biggest electric vehicle make in the world. They make trucks, buses , cars etc etc. The BYD Han is dope vehicle. just search BYD HAN  on YT. It is a Chinese company so it may not get much attention in your country. In Australia a company has just started importing BYD vehicles, they have a smal SUV, the sedan (HAN) and a small little hatchback/mini suv thing. The top of the range HAN is AWD and has 600KM range. the top of the line model is price like Tesla Model 3, the 2WD version with 500k range is about 50K AU in AUstralia.

Check out this guys video. In Australia we are excited about it because it is more affordable than Tesla to enter the EV market.

I just had the AZ vaccine. First shot. I'm worried about jogging or doing cardio etc. I heard some people got pain their calves before falling Ill from the vaccine. I usually go to the gym and do cardio for 40 min as part of my workout. I'll self monitor. I usually drink a shake and blueberry smoothy each day, apparently the blueberries are good anti clotting.
29  Other / Meta / Re: what is the easiest way to see bitcointalk on a mobile? on: May 18, 2021, 01:43:50 AM
It's probably better if I just visit the bitcointalk site on my desktop or laptop anyway as it gives me time away from all screens.
I don't know how accessing the forum on your PC or laptop lessens your screen time, but those are the best methods for reading and writing on this site.  I used to use my phone to do both, but it's a huge pain in the ass even if you have a decent sized screen.  Don't know about you, but I just can't type as fast or as accurately on a phone as I can on a real keyboard.

By the way, this topic (using bitcointalk on a mobile device) has sprung up quite a few times before, and I'm pretty sure Theymos has no plans to make a mobile-friendly version of the forum, at least until that new forum software gets rolled out.  Until then, I wouldn't even bother trying to use it on a phone--but that's just my opinion.  I know lots of people have no trouble whatsoever typing on those tiny phone keyboards.

Agreed. Its not impossible, but not really the easiest thing to do on a mobile either. It lessens my time because my phone comes everywhere with me and I may want to check conversations. Where as my PC and Laptop I generally only use while I'm working at home.

Thanks for reply Smiley

Phone display screen is small, try to rotate your phone if you will like how it display, but to better get full and better display with better experience, using desktop browser is the for go. It is not mainly about using certain type of browser, it is about using certain type of devices because Bitcointalk is still mobile friendly but getting full and better display on desktop. But to get one of the best mobile experience, you can try Via broswer, but I do not know much about the security of the browser, so not that I am recommending it.

Thanks I'll give it a go 🙏🏻🙏🏻 . I was just wondering if there was something like Tapatalk for this forum. It's probably better if I just visit the bitcointalk site on my desktop or laptop anyway as it gives me time away from all screens.
Thanks Again 🙂

I assume you also know English. Just in case you find it's difficult to understand what I mentioned above, basically, some alternatives that you can use for P2P trades are Localbitcoin, Hodlhodl, or forum trade through an escrow. Make sure to choose your trading partner wisely, and always use an escrow. Don't deal with newbies, deal with a trusted member with reputable trade history such as sapta.

hey, yes, i do but like to practise bahasa Smiley basically we have crypto already and want to withdraw it to BRI, but we are in Australia and need to 1) make account on Indonesian exchange so we can transfer crypto and withdraw to BRI and 2) im wondering will it matter if the exchange account name and bank account name are different.. ie; the BRI withdraw account will be in my wife's sister name, the exchange account will be in my wifes name

Hello hertznetwork, you can't directly withdraw your money if the Account Name and Bank Name is Different  Wink

I really want to help you for send your money to your sister, But I'm Afraid If Your Transaction is ML Scheme or Illegal :v

BTW, I have joined your Project Telegram Group, Hoping Your Hertz Network Running Well  Smiley

Hi , no I'm not looking for any help to send money, we can already send cash from bank transfer. Just advice for exchanges. The reason is the tax rate in Indonesia is much better for us to withdraw it there. It is 1% on withdrawl right? In Australia it is around 17-30%. And we are moving back to Indonesia anyway, but because of the pandemic we cant get there now. (I am not allowed to leave Australia because of borders). My wife has an account there the problem is she cant access internet banking so we can not see if the money landed, that why we use her sister account.

I find it hard when looking at bitcointalk  in a browser on a mobile. I am wondering is there an app or recommended browser that is more mobile device friendly?

sure . I think my statement regarding drugs that have been around for thousands of years could be specific for my country, ie
: Australia. Take weed, we are not allowed to take medical marijuana because we are told we don't know what the effects are, but it has been used for thousands of years. On the other hand in other countries it is readily available as medicinal product. over the last few years in Australia there has been some ground made in legalizing medicinal marijuana but it wasn't always that way...and even when they do make laws that make it legal, there will be another way they stop it being used. Anyway thats another topic.

if you try and dare yourself to read the actual detail.. its about weed(non-refined cannabis) can be many different strains..
yes "weed" can vary significantly batch to batch and no way to know how much the ratio and volume of THC:CBD

but medical cannabis. has been made with more accurate ratio's where the CBD volume is the main/sole content.
why
well THC causes more negative symptoms

seems after your lifetime and thousands of years of history. you seem to not know the difference between weed vs medical cannabis. even when you portray yourself as a fan of the substance

here in the UK. they sell CDB energy drinks at my local convenience store.
bu they would never sell weed

How did you get the notion I am portraying myself as a fan?  i don't use weed or CBD oil or cookies etc. im pretty sure marijuana has been used for medicine for thousands of years before somebody made cbd oil. its more of a western thing to turn a medicinal substance into a recreation drug. i hear what you are saying about strains I know some strains get people high and others put people to sleep.

36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: May 16, 2021, 05:50:55 AM
Though I lost so many times earlier but this one is bit tough. I was bearish on bitcoin when it was around 30000$ but it went up and up and touches 40000$. I lost around 1000$ and I was ok but I do not know what happens to me suddenly in the heat of the moment I decided to go all in with 100x leverage, with no technical analysis nothing, as I was sure about bitcoin reaching 50000$.
And that is it all my bankroll which I build from 350$ vanished my hard work of 6 month gone.
Now I am broke. But I know I will build my bank roll again over the course of few months but oh man this is tough.
I hate this feeling. Guys no matter what don't be impulsive in trading.

Ive lost and gained . Just stick with it and you will be ok. But like the others say, do not be emotional or follow others. Do your own observations and analysis and just try to make enough to live on safely and allocate some to do riskier trades. Good Luck   Smiley Smiley

For me those vaccine is like an experimental drugs and although they tested it for quite sometime, still the long effect of those vaccine we never know, that is why some people do not believe on it. and some who take the vaccine had effect on their bodies and some even dies.

this is logical conclusion. in they pre covid days that is what we are told. Even drugs that have been around for thousands of years ...we are told no you cant take that because we don't know the full effects...but now all of a sudden like magic, the vaccine is safe. I'm due for my shot in less than 48 hours. Ill take it, because i am probably part sheep and just follow the masses to a certain extent

One proven fact is that you can't ignore the advancement of science throughout the ages. Thousand of years ago cannot be compared to what we have now, and it is the same other factual supported ideologies.

40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Websites to discuss vaccine damage repair. on: May 16, 2021, 03:14:54 AM
which vaccine did you have ? I am scheduled to get AstraZeneca this week. Although I had the virus early on in March 2020. Obviously I didn't die, nor did i go to hospital. I did go to doctor but because i hadn't traveled they said it wasn't possible.. i got mad diarrhea and heart palpitation and the cough and fevers...took 8 weeks to feel normal again and still working on my cardio fitness. I figure since i didn't die from the actual covid the vaccine should be ok.

I had the AZ vaccine. I would think if you've already had Covid, there's a chance that the vaccine side effects that you experience might be slightly stronger than for those who haven't had the virus... because your body is already primed and ready to go, so you might have a stronger immune response. But this is simply an uneducated guess - it may not work like this at all, I'm not a medical professional.
Either way, taking the vaccine is a good idea.

With so many people being vaccinated in the current panicdemic (sic), this seems to be a massive growth market over the next few years. Do you think I should be investing in these health repair domain names?

I'm sure that there's money to be made from conspiracy theorists... but if you're anticipating a growth market due to data supporting the theories, then this is perhaps unlikely to happen. The data are quite conclusive already: the vaccines are safe and effective.

true. i sure don't want to feel like i did when i had covid that's for sure. I know a lot of people don't get any symptoms, but the symptoms I got , even tho i didn't need hospitalization, still made me understand why its easy to die from it.
