21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed coin. MANDATORY UPDATE! on: March 30, 2014, 12:18:46 PM
Hey guys,

I've got this reply from Amazonia imports:

Thank you for your enquiry.

I'm happy to accept FAC if you can get it on exchanges with a more robust
market, such as mintpal, cryptorush, cryptsy, etc. My concern is being
able to determine an exchange rate that is reasonable for both parties in
a transaction. When coinpayments.net gets back up, it's easier if you
incorporated with them as it streamlines the checkout, no need for me to
provide a quote.

However I am willing to provide a quote for customers once the buy sell
spread gets closer and the market is stronger for your coin.

Best regards,
Dave

22  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nxt-e scam platform, will rob the users' coins on: March 30, 2014, 12:15:35 PM
i had regular bitcoins there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 31 000 faircoins i have lost, REGULAR FAIRCOINS THAT WAS DEPOSITED IN WALLET.

wtf sup with stealing our real coins as the forked ones??? lol the forked coins gets a unconfirmed in wallet and the real ones gets a confirmed. and we are not getting our Fac that we had stored on ur website back.
We have Nothing to do with the Forked coins or whatever happend, we just had our FAC stored at NXT-E.COM  wich now just took away wallet, blamed dev's and then takes the real faircoins from all users. including the forked ones. Yay. someoen is gotta pay us back here! wtf

I don't care how the NXT-e owner blame on the dev or other FAC team.
It's only his stupidity.

What I care from is m REAL FAC.
If he eat them ,he is a thief, a scammer.
We neen action together to fight him and try to get our coins back.
23  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nxt-e scam platform, will rob the users' coins on: March 30, 2014, 12:11:55 PM
I am taking everything out of Nxt-e. Always trouble...EVERYDAY something new,but this is the end,They are good guys but I can no longer trust them with my holdings.    Cry

The standard judging if one guy is good or not is important.
Sometimes, the guy looks very nice within normal situation.
While if there is any emergent issue happened or you have benefit conflict with him,  his evil part will face you.
I think the owner of NXT-E is exactly this kind of guy.

Before the FAC forking problem, he looks normal to everyone.
However, now you can see his true face : stupid and ugly.

He said he was rather rich. while only 7BTC beat him and made him mad.
He attacked the dev and all the users who wanted their REAL FAC back.
He was so stupid that he asked all others to stay in the forked blockchain as NXT-E's.

Keep away from him and his platform.

That is my lesson.

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: March 30, 2014, 11:58:35 AM
Right, thanks for the advice guys, now running my 270s at I13, 1070/1480, gpu threads 2, tc 6336, and powertune 20 just for voodoo purposes. Sitting nice and stable so far getting 1.25MH each @ 54C, ~5MH total. The almost identical box sat next to it mining vert is at 64-69C each card at 975/1250.

Plenty of Accepteds scrolling by down below, but the top line showing Accepted shares only incrementing very slowly?

Mined a mighty 1.5 DRK so far in 8 hours or so. Hopefully this rate will increase a bit with PPLNS.

Yeah accepts are low (since it must work through all the 11x before one accept is done?)

as long as your WU is at around 0.018 ish ?

What happened to Suchpool ?
I got 1.3Mh/s with my E7 but now the rate is only 0.3MH/s.
Why do acceptes so low?

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin [LTC] X11 hardfork at block 564,480 on: March 30, 2014, 11:47:30 AM
We, a team of Litecoin supporters and developers, are not satisfied with the current development of LTC.
That's why we are working on a hardfork for Litecoin to make it ASIC resistant.

This way we like to keep it decentralized, so no large ASIC manufacturers like KnCMiner, Gridseed or Alpha-T can takeover the network when Scrypt ASICS come widely available.

To lower the footprint of LTC and retain GPU mineability, the algorithm of our choice is X11.

We would like to hear from the Litecoin community if other changes, like to the difficulty algorithm, are preferred too.

Please keep this a nice and open discussion, this topic will not be moderated as we think everyone has the right to free speech.

More to follow, so stay tuned.

The LTC X11 team.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PCN] ProCoin Launched | On CryptoRush | Huge Rewards in March & April on: March 30, 2014, 11:43:11 AM
2% premine ,total 1000000000,scrypt,I don't like
So heavy premine makes the coin be a potential scam.
Keep it away.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gameover for a few coins this week it seems. on: March 30, 2014, 11:41:56 AM

I have been waiting for a week like this for a long time
there were too many crapcoins out there that ought to have died long ago.

and here's this week's list: (on cryptmarketcap.com 7day price% drop >25%)

NXT -33.15%
Aurora -88.0%      (whoa, gameover man)
Quark -26.0%      Just keeps sliding since mined out.
Vertcoin -26.7%   Was a fake pump, and everyone knew it.
Primecoin -33.6%  How it is still here already is a good question.
Megacoin -30.0%  about time this monkey show dies. KGW recently proven inferior.
YBcoin - 28.41%    This is a china coin, guess I never get to know it.
Spaincoin -64.2%   Another Joke that ought to have dispersed before it started.

If you still have any of the above, you probably best off switching to a coin that have hope.
I have my list of hopeful coins, but I know no one agrees to that. (which is fair)

though the drop of the above list is for all to see, and to be honest, an investment that can drop 25% in 7 days?
lol, you know it is a joke.

my advise is GET OUT while you can.

How about BTC ?  It has the same drop.
And all country coins are scams, being definitely dying.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cannot withdraw BTC from CryptoRush on: March 30, 2014, 11:39:55 AM
Now I have a good reason to call Crypto Rush THIEVES !

I managed to withdraw only a part of my BTC from their shithole!
I had 0.026BTC but I received only.... 0.00070565 BTC
My balance is now 0 ...

Me too. My 0.82BTC by selling other altcoins stunk .

I suffered too much.

Another crap platform is NXT-E which held my 50k Faircoin deposit and wanted to eat them.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scrypt mining is dead - a real thread discussing what the title says on: March 30, 2014, 11:37:21 AM
Even with ASIC, the mining mode will be discarded by the users.
Look at the coinmarketcap, a lot of Scrypt coins with GH/s hashpower and tens BTC IPO have only the similar value as those free distributed coins, such as C2 and Faircoin.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BLITZCOIN] Needs his community manager ! on: March 30, 2014, 11:35:05 AM
Hi!

I live in finland and Ready to help this coin! I can for example do advertise posters and throw them all over my city and in every house.
What you think guys? I just need a lot of papers, printing clours and advertise idea.

I think personally that it would be nice to make some nice charity or other goal. For example pick any homless who is freezing outside and lets try to help him back to his feet and that he gets job.. apartament to live and rent  and etc.... Or pick family from very poor country and try to help them somehow. We can make a charity fund to build a house for poor african family or something? We need to make a good goals that people will know about us because of things we do.

Best Regards, Gavrilov Maksim

Sounds nice. I give you my support.

Are you developing a new 2nd gen coin BCX as eightspaces post ?

Is it serious or just a April fool joke?

Sorry I don't have enough time to read through the whole thread.
Is it real that AUR got multiple forked?
Is it dying?

Just like Bruce said, its not about the quantity but about the quality of minds being there.

A bit? Btw what was his big announcement in the morning that was supposed to shock the btc community?
