How can i set my device(g-blade) 0,1,2,3 to 800MHZ and 4,5 to 838MHZ...
if i set may 838mhz to ttyACM0,1,2,3 many hw... so said.. but 4,5 is very fine 0 hw.
PLZ HELP
it works fine with blades. you need to specifiy freq for each and every chip though. simply build out a list of all your serial# and specifiy the speed for each chip as in my example below then paste it into the extra options box. its going to be very very long, but it works perfectly --gc3355-freq=48FE864B3634:862:0,48FE864B3634:862:1,48FE864B3634:862:2,48FE864B3634:862:3,48FE864B3634:862:4,48FE864B3634:862:5,48FE864B3634:862:6,48FE864B3634:862:7,48FE864B3634:862:8,48FE864B3634:862:9,48FE864B3634:862:10,48FE864B3634:862:11,48FE864B3634:862:12,48FE864B3634:862:13,48FE864B3634:862:14,48FE864B3634:862:15,48FE864B3634:862:16,48FE864B3634:862:17,48FE864B3634:862:18,48FE864B3634:862:19,48FE864B3634:862:20,48FE864B3634:862:21,48FE864B3634:862:22,48FE864B3634:862:23,48FE864B3634:862:24,48FE864B3634:862:25,48FE864B3634:862:26,48FE864B3634:862:27,48FE864B3634:862:28,48FE864B3634:862:29,48FE864B3634:862:30,48FE864B3634:862:31,48FE864B3634:862:32,48FE864B3634:862:33,48FE864B3634:862:34,48FE864B3634:862:35,48FE864B3634:862:36,48FE864B3634:862:37,48FE864B3634:862:38,48FE864B3634:862:39,48FD8F593634:850:0,48FD8F593634:850:1,48FD8F593634:850:2,48FD8F593634:850:3,48FD8F593634:850:4,48FD8F593634:850:5,48FD8F593634:850:6,48FD8F593634:850:7,48FD8F593634:850:8,48FD8F593634:850:9,48FD8F593634:850:10,48FD8F593634:850:11,48FD8F593634:850:12,48FD8F593634:850:13,48FD8F593634:850:14,48FD8F593634:850:15,48FD8F593634:850:16,48FD8F593634:850:17,48FD8F593634:850:18,48FD8F593634:850:19,48FD8F593634:850:20,48FD8F593634:850:21,48FD8F593634:850:22,48FD8F593634:850:23,48FD8F593634:850:24,48FD8F593634:850:25,48FD8F593634:850:26,48FD8F593634:850:27,48FD8F593634:850:28,48FD8F593634:850:29,48FD8F593634:850:30,48FD8F593634:850:31,48FD8F593634:850:32,48FD8F593634:850:33,48FD8F593634:850:34,48FD8F593634:850:35,48FD8F593634:850:36,48FD8F593634:850:37,48FD8F593634:850:38,48FD8F593634:850:39,48DE606C3731:838:0,48DE606C3731:838:1,48DE606C3731:838:2,48DE606C3731:838:3, there are 40 chips per blade numbered 0-39. each one needs to be included per blade you want to modify. If you only want to modify 1 or 2 blades away fromthe default 850 then you only need to specify those in the string. any blades not in the string will default to 850.

Let me know if you folks need any help with this. I'd love to see MobileMiner support added to Minera! The API is very simple and only requires a few HTTP POST requests. Wow, Minera quickly becoming the Allstar team ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I would love to see a working remote management/control API

All, it really helps when you state your issues that you mention if you are using mini's or blades and how many of each. The fact that Blades do not use autotune, means they are almost 2 different products with regard to troubleshooting and configurations. Just an FYI many, many people are running minera with absolutely no issues with both Blades and mini's. In fact of all the solutions I have used this is by far the most stable and easiest to use. Not to mention the fact the development cycle is crazy fast and responsive. Michelem and Sandor make quite the team ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

is it by design that we cant embed multiple iframes?

3 separate Pi's all working great on the latest version

I have one gridseed 5 chip miner and one gridseed g-blade. Can I run both of these miners off the same raspberry pi running minera?
Yes you can but keep in mind that auto freq does not work for the blades so you'll have to skip that option.
Pool switching works as advertised!! You guys are incredible!
Thank you both very very much!
Minera is great! Thank you
How long should I let auto tune run?
until it stops changing freq... could take 2 hours could take 5 hours..

Having looked at https://github.com/siklon/cpuminer-gc3355 I don't think you can set the frequency's by the serial number but only by the device number ttyACM.. as these move around on reboot it is pretty useless ATM. You can. Sandor changed this yesterday on his version. You have to update to Minera 0.1.9 to use this feature. I tested it yesterday and it's working. But remember, you can't set frequencies on a single chip when you're using blades. This works only for grids. On blades you have to use Serialnumber:Frequency without ChipID. And remember... blades don't support auto tuning! This is exactly what I'm doing and everything defaults to 600 once launched

Any option to change frequency on each blade or GS individually?
Example: --gc3355-freq=123456789:888:0,123456789:750:1 will set serialnumber 123456789 to frequency 888 MHz on chip 0 and 750 MHz on chip 1 and so on You can add this line under extra options in the settings Confused. I have 5pcs of the 5 chip infinitys. Serials are: 6D863F8C5650 6D82366F5650 6D92278D4853 6D7615775650 6D8E07755251 I've run autotune and the freqs that are best for each are: 6D863F8C5650:868 6D82366F5650:863 6D92278D4853:868 6D7615775650:908 6D8E07755251:883 If I run this: --gc3355-freq=6D863F8C5650:868,6D82366F5650:863,6D92278D4853:868,6D7615775650:908,6D8E07755251:883It defaults to 600 (if Minera is on "default" for --freq) It defaults to 850 (if Minera is set to 850 for --freq) If I run this: - -gc3355-freq=6D863F8C5650:868:0,6D82366F5650:863:0,6D92278D4853:868:0,6D7615775650:908:0,6D8E07755251:883:0I get really wacky freqs, as I think I am only setting 1 chip to that freq. What am I missing? lol, it is probably something insanely simple. I have the same problem with my blades. no matter what i do other than freq=850, everything defaults to 600. I'm clearly doing something wrong and have just given up trying to set different freq for each blade. Im sure someone has it working but every time i ask for the correct syntax i never get a response.

Nice work on the save and restart pool option.. this will be a perfect solution with the current limitations in place.

Agreed.
I have looked through all options. Installed, tweaked, configured, and compiled.. no question, best combo For Gridseed mining.
Thanks again to both of you.
donations going out.

So that begs the question, Michelem, does your update today contain the latest commit from Sandor?
Sounds similar to my issue with the blades.. I issue freq settings but only one chip per in each array use that speed. the others all fall to the default 600. i was seeing it when running directly from command lien so I dont think its related to Minera.

Michelem, Thanks for adding the current hashrate in the HTML page title. Makes for tab identification much easier! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Sandor, sorry to be a pest, i don't think I'm understanding this. When I use the following startup line from an SSH session: --gc3355-detect --gc3355-freq=/dev/ttyACM0:850,/dev/ttyACM1:850,/dev/ttyACM2:838,/dev/ttyACM3:838 --log /var/log/minera/cpuminer.log
This is what the logs are showing: [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0: Firmware version: 0x17031402 [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0: GC3355 40-chip G-Blade Miner detected [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@0: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@1: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@2: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@3: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@4: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@5: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@6: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1: Firmware version: 0x17031402 [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1: GC3355 40-chip G-Blade Miner detected [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 0@7: Set GC3355 core frequency to 838Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@0: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@1: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@2: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@3: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@4: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@5: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@6: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2: Firmware version: 0x17031402 [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2: GC3355 40-chip G-Blade Miner detected [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 1@7: Set GC3355 core frequency to 838Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@0: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@1: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@2: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@3: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@4: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@5: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@6: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3: Firmware version: 0x17031402 [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3: GC3355 40-chip G-Blade Miner detected [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 2@7: Set GC3355 core frequency to 850Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@0: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@1: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@2: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@3: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@4: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@5: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@6: Set GC3355 core frequency to 600Mhz [2014-05-14 12:09:33] 3@7: Set GC3355 core frequency to 850Mhz
It only seems to be setting one or 2 of the chips. is this by design? is it a requirement to type out all 7 chips speeds when launching? my understanding was by using the launch line i did all chips on that particular blade should launch at that speed.
so then, --gc3355-detect --gc3355-freq=/dev/ttyACM0:850,/dev/ttyACM1:850,/dev/ttyACM2:838,/dev/ttyACM3:838 --log /var/log/minera/cpuminer.log should be fine? Just tried it and same issue.. all blades started at 605
so on my blade rig, im trying to run each blade at its own freq. when i do a manual setup and use the following line: --gc3355-detect --gc3355-freq=ttyACM0:850,ttyACM1:850,ttyACM2:838,ttyACM3:838 --log /var/log/minera/cpuminer.log After a restart all 4 blades default to 600. what am I doing wrong? Thinking this might of got missed.. Sandor or Michelem? Any thoughts? is my syntax correct?
