21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 13, 2014, 07:30:31 AM
I would love to see how fast those sell walls are removed as soon as price starts pushing upwards. They are fake walls I guarantee it.

What an exciting weekend this is going to be!

I really don't think we will see much of a correction. I could see it falling to 35K but the buy walls are too strong to see it fall below 30K. If it touches 35K I'll definitely be buying more.

Wow, we are definitely going to hit 3000 BTC 24-hour trade volume on Mintpal.  That has to be a record!

Congratulations to all who have supported Cinni thus far!  And the good news is -- we are just getting started!

I say we reach 50K in next 24 hours. If you have some CINNI, hold them and try to buy more. If you don't have, don't waste your time and buy now! Price will probably grow 2-3 times in next week so it's probably one of the best investments you can do right now.

I absolutely agree. What is an assurance of this is the volumes this coin is seeing - it looks like we will easily break 3000BTC volume for the day.

I've seen the question of what advantage Cinni has over other coins, so for newcomers:

- 0% pre-mine, 0% IPO
- PoS completed = fast transactions, no electricity wasted in mining
- Fair distribution: see the top 1000 list here http://coinia.net/cinnicoin/getbalance.php?top=1000
- Active dev team: the original post of this thread is continually updated, as well as this thread is commented on regularly. There are bigs plans for even just the week ahead on top of the long-term goals of this coin.
- Community: just join in the discussion on this thread and you'll know.

This coin is still drastically undervalued. There is no reason why this coin shouldn't be in the top 10 cryptocoins by market capital.

Do you think it's too late to buy some CINNI? I'm holding 100 that a bought at 0.00010100 but now it's much high that I'm not sure if I should buy some more now or wait for another dip then buy some more in. I appreciate any opinions you have to share.

Buy more as there are only 15 mil. coins. Do not sell untill it reaches to dollar 1 or may be more.

+1

This is drastically undervalued, hence the recent movement. It still has a long way to go, even before this run is over.

What are all of the buy/sell orders for 1 CINNI trying to achieve?

With 1 BC you can't even buy 2 CINNIs anymore .. just saying

I think that is an important comparison. We often get caught up in the number of sats etc. without getting the intra-crypto trading price perspective.

Can someone please explain exactly how to ensure that the coins will stake, RE unlocked wallet etc?

I am using Mac, have coins in my wallet. I have encrypted it, and unlocked it. But when I close Asiacoin-Qt and re-open it, the wallet is locked again... does that mean that the coins won't stake unless I keep the wallet open?

I've not received the 50BC, incase there was an error in sending.

I know, my apologies, I still haven't gotten Blackcoin-Qt up and running. I just went for a swim down at the beach to relax the nerves after thinking I'd lost it all. As soon as I have Blackcoin-Qt working I'll be transferring the 50BC to you though - never fear!

I have been able to recover the wallet.dat file with McKie's assistance. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting the method that he described, for people who might run into the same problem in the future:

1.) Click the Finder icon on the dock
2.) press Command+SHIFT+"G" to "Go to the folder"
3.) Input "~/Library" and hit RETURN.
This will bring you into your logged-in user's Library folder. From there you can navigate to Application Support folder and look for a folder called "Blackcoin", somewhere in there lies your wallet.dat file.

Thanks McKie, 50BC heading your way.

I just redownloaded mac wallet once again and it works just fine for me. I can remember now that I had similar problem with another coin and it was all about security settings. Check your config, maybe it helps.
My settings are

Followed this, and the Blackcoin-Qt v1.0.6.0 is still not opening. It doesn't come up with an error message anymore... instead it bounces in the dock once and that is it. Strange.

50 BC FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN ASSIST WITH A MAJOR PROBLEM I AM HAVING

I have been using Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Previous version to the latest version of Blackcoin-Qt installed. I have about 45,000 BC stored in my wallet.

Last night I made the error of updating OS X to Mavericks. This morning, now that it is installed, the Blackcoin-Qt icon that was once on the dock is simple a ? icon. The Application has been removed somehow (Darkcoin-Qt and Cinnicoin-Qt are working as usual). I went to blackcoin.co and downloaded v1.0.6.0 of Blackcoin-Qt, and when I open it it simply says "Blackcoin-Qt is damaged and could not be opened".

WTF is happening here? Is there a way for me to find the wallet file on my computer? Why is the latest Blackcoin-Qt not working with OS X Mavericks?
