I know it wasn't your intention but I am deeply offended by your post, please delete it for me. Thank you.

Mark can answer for himself on the code question, but just FYI, you could ask the very same question for every piece of code downloaded for every coin out there, including the wallets. A big part of the reason that interaction with us through these forums is so good. I personally would not want to be well known if I produced something with bad intentions. It can have all sorts of ways to bite you in the butt down the road of life.........
Well i am very security conscious when it comes to my wallets and so forth being contained in each individual VM with no interaction with one and another. Unfortunately that cant be done with a piece of software that needs access to your exchange accounts. It doesn't ask for your login/password if thats what you were worried about Instead just the API key which you can set the permission to no withdraw at bittrex>settings>API Keys

What makes LTC worth more than DRK? I don't see it...Is it the mining industry propping up this coin? Think there will be an ASIC vs GPU mining war? When I compare what DRK is and has the potential to be I don't see what it is about LTC that makes it over double DRK price.
More people know about it since its been around longer than all alt coins, thats about it.

I took it as no enforcement for the update, not 'no enforcement ever'. Fingers crossed.

Let the FUD continue, I was able to buy more QTL under 0.0002 Loving the app too

lol the devs of that app seem like fun guys If it does go under 0.0045 then it wont be for long as I'll be buying them all

Oooh better not gamble online, it hurts so many people, must only do it in real life then daddy is ok with it Like the guy above said, wash your coins through darkcoin, then cash out.

This is great! Well done, getting in now.

Now connecting to DarkNet... http://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/or it could be branded as a different entity than anything dark, if it was my project I'd market it around the idea of freedom and privacy rather than darkness.

DarkNet and Dark Transit are the only ones I like. 0.2c.

How much you think it would cost to have Kristov Atlas on the dev team for a year? 50,000 drk? 25,000?
0 Once the core DS+ code is open sourced, there will be way more contributors with Evan having the good authority to merge pull requests since this was started by him. Have you checked Github to see even now there are growing number of contributors? There will be CVEs down the road make no mistake. It will receive contributions from cryptographers, programmers and analysts alike. Bitcoin devs don't necessarily have a lot of coins. Except Gavin and perhaps gmax, but there have been a ton of contributors to the code. There is an incredible visualization/animation on youtube, that shows a time lapse of how the github of bitcoin evolved over time and what developers worked on it: another similar visualisation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTILX-_JzTsSomeone could perhaps create something like this once involvement of other devs in darkcoin really takes of... (we are getting there soon) This is one of the coolest things ever! Thanks for that

but masternodes will be paid for each 'transit' message?
Not exactly. The masternodes selected for mixing will get paid from mining rewards, the others won't. The "message" is just the instructions for mixing, or put another way, a list containing the order of the masternodes that the transaction will go through. How do I own a masternode and haven't kept up on this stuff.. So, at the moment are there more blocks being mined than payments being paid to masternodes? Or is every block paying 20% to masternodes regardless of the amount of darksend transactions? 20% of the block mining reward, so if 4 DRK are created, the masternodes that were selected get a share of .8 DRK. I believe this is the way it works. This coin changes a lot so keeping up with it is hard. The iterations in technology are fun to watch. edit: Sweet, Evan updated the OP in which he states how it functions. I was totally wrong. This is how is now works:
In return for providing this service, with each block mined, one Masternode is randomly selected by the network to receive 20% of the payout from that particular block.
So just one connected, functioning master node will get selected. Not necessarily the ones doing the mixing.Nice that answers it. Gotta keep up on that OP.

If the new DarkTransit (TM) system is opened up as I hope it will be, MN earnings from block rewards are going to become the least part of a Masternode operator's revenue stream. My advice to fellow Masternodeers - start thinking about upgrading your server specs. You can't say something like that without expanding. What's DarkTransit? Yes please tell us more about this DarkTransit From the update: ... Anyone on the Darkcoin network will be able to communicate securely by using the Masternode network and our encrypted transit system. A user who would like to transmit a payment securely will encrypt the message in such a way that only specific Masternodes can decrypt it.
The user’s client will select three Masternodes, then use the privkey from each of those nodes to wrap the message it wishes to send in three successive encrypted containers. These containers can only be decrypted by their associated Masternodes. ...
DarkTransit, duh! Think Tor, except not funded by the NSA, not slower than continental drift, not needing sixteen hoops to jump through to get it to (kind of) work. Think services built around a secure, scalable, trustless, anonymous, ip-obfuscated, resilient, distributed infrastructure. And when you've finished thinking about it, I'll see you at Bitfinex. but masternodes will be paid for each 'transit' message?

will this be coin of the year?
lol its been a fast run up but look at the volume during their peaks and you'll see its nowhere near darkcoin, price wise too, so far.
