Monacoin Ordinals has been releasedhttps://github.com/monacoin-core/ord-monacoin/releasesUsing monacoin core v24.0, it is possible to test with private Signet and Regtest. I think it would be a good idea to prepare for the day when monacoin activates Taproot, such as the development of the NFT marketplace and MRC-20 tokens. Nobody's gonna use this. You don't even offer a proper explanation of what it is -- are just directing people to the Ordinals documentation. Monacoin already has an NFT marketplace and strong, bustling culture by way of Monaparty. This *RC-20 stuff is just for degens, which aren't a part of Monacoin culture as far as I can tell. Monaparty is a fork of Bitcoin Counterparty. Ordinals gained overwhelming support in Bitcoin. What is the reason? Traditional NFTs such as Monaparty store images in external databases such as IPFS and imger. It is just a URL that is recorded in the blockchain. How reliable and permanent are external databases really? This is a headache. Ordinals, on the other hand, records images directly on the L1 blockchain. Therefore, anyone can understand that it is irreversible and permanent. Ordinals gained overwhelming support because of this property. It is not up to you to decide whether or not users use Ordinals.

Activating Taproot is easy. Big miners should adopt core v24.0. That's all. You're basically trying to cause a fork in Monacoin by bypassing the standard consensus mechanisms. I don't expect any miner to "upgrade" to your version of the core software until it is expressly labeled in https://github.com/monacoinproject/monacoin. Monaparty is already very well established; Monacoin does not need Ordinals IMO. Your view that you don't need the Ordinals is narrow-minded. Ordinals is just the beginning. The future Taproot opens up is much bigger. Do you know that monacoin mining is highly centralized? Adopting it by a large miner means securing 99% of the mining share. In short, at that moment Taproot is activated. Well, total hash rate has been a concern for years, but the miners themselves seem to be fairly well distributed You're glossing over the point that you bypassed the standard means of achieving consensus within a coin's development. You didn't check with any of the Monacoin developers to see if they thought this was a good idea or not, you just did it. This figure only shows the allocation by address. Moreover, the share shows an extremely unnatural distribution. Most of the addresses shown here are from one farm. The farm probably uses a different address for each controller in the rack. And this figure shows that the hashing power per rack is almost the same. Therefore, there is no problem.

Activate Taproot and let Monacoin Ordinals go viralOrdinals is at the center of all Bitcoin-related topics right now. Once Monacoin Ordinals is launched, it will surely become popular. Wouldn't that cause the stagnant Monacoin price to skyrocket? Activating Taproot is easy. Big miners should adopt core v24.0. That's all.

Why do you bother me? Of course, using open source code is at your own risk, right? That is the common sense of the world. Neither signet parameters nor taproot parameters are things that you can decide arbitrarily. Because it is software that everyone uses, it is not a good thing for you to decide on your own. Please anounce. Signet and Taproot don't have parameters that need to be consulted. You are not studying enough.
