I am reading more and more stories about people having problems with this online service. Where there's smoke, there is fire. There are also a number of users who have no problems with this site, so the question is where the truth lies and why all these problems have arisen. I never understand why such sites should scam people, the revenue model is always there and they make a profit on all transactions. I also remember that Elon Musk story.

Really what has to happen is people need to report the Freewallet app to GooglePlay as being a scam. Because it is. It's ridiculous that they get such high placement ranking when people do searches for various coin mobile wallets. If people report them here, they may or may not respond. If enough people report them to Google, they will be taken down.
I hope so. Don't let it take many more victims. if we are silent maybe freewallet will continue to do this, and it can happen to friends, family and other people who don't know this freewallet |

Comply with them, and hope they finally give you access to your funds[DONE]- Keep bugging them by creating a thread on bitcointalk and other forums, by leaving reviews on review sites, by publicly asking them updates on twitter and facebook and other social media platforms
- Find a lawyer that wants to go after them
- If you ever get your funds back, move them away from freewallet as soon as possible
But, THEY are the ones who hold the private keys, the only ones that can give you access to your funds are THEM... So, unless they decide to give you your own money, or untill you force them (by getting a lawyer or giving them bad publicity) nothing will happen. None of these steps give any guarantee... ok I will do that, thanks for the advice and support. Yes, I know that custodial wallets do not give full access rights to their customers, because they do not provide private keys to their customers. and someone said Any crypto wallet that won't give you your private keys should be avoided at all costs. |

As soon as you opened a wallet with them, you were shown their addresses, not yours. They just moved your funds between their wallets...
they did that when I was going to withdraw my coin, after I did that there was a notification to the email that my account was suspended and asked for all data including kyc etc, I immediately fulfilled the freewallet request, but so far they have never completed it, and always reason to wait and wait. I'm curious to check my balance via ethscan, here I know that my balance has moved to a freewallet address, and they use a trick as if my funds are still in my account, which actually has 0 balance. Is it allowed in this forum that I send evidence, where does Freewallet store the funds of the customers they scammed? |

I'm afraid the only things you can do are: - Comply with them, and hope they finally give you access to your funds
- Keep bugging them by creating a thread on bitcointalk and other forums, by leaving reviews on review sites, by publicly asking them updates on twitter and facebook and other social media platforms

The bottom line is: you used a custodial "wallet" (in fact, a custodial exchange with a very random, selective, over-the-top KYC procedure) to hold your funds. They are the only one on this planet that are able to return your money to you... They build a TOS that allows??? them to selectively close accounts and hold the funds hostage untill over the top KYC procedures are followed (if the victim succeeds in doing this offcourse, otherwise i guess they can keep the funds... at least, that seems to be their logic). I have no idear if what they're doing is legal in the country where their headquarter is located, i'm not a lawyer... It seems illogical to me that their procedure is following every aspect of the law, but as a layman i have no clue wether or not this is true. I have complied with what they want, I have provided all my personal data according to their request, but Freewallet is still holding my funds until now. I tried to find out, it turned out that my funds had been transferred to their wallet address without me knowing, and the freewallet reasoned it was a cold storage wallet. in this way they deceive their customers. thanks for the advice i will try.. |

Thank you for the response, I have repeatedly sent emails via ticket number, but the answer is wait and wait, one year of verification has never been completed, I only have 1.2 eth on my freewallet account. I really need the funds for medical expenses. my ticket 198408. I am waiting for their response, and if there is no good faith, I will post all the evidence
Did you solve your case? If you open a thread and give it some publicity you might be able to press them to return the money like the OP. Freewallet ask abusively for documents and more documents but ends returning the money if public pressed. Their tactic seem to be to find any ground to refuse to return the money. I am sorry, I just got into the bitcointalk forum, because I have to take care of my family at the hospital. until this moment freewallet has not paid, even emails are not replied to and on social media they do not reply. I've given all my data but they still ignore it. what steps should I do because I really need the funds. Thank you for all the support in this forum |

Artinya anda benar-benar perlu membuat thread tuduhan penipuan yang lengkap dengan bukti-buktinya. dana saya tertahan 1 tahun lebih dan sepertinya tidak ada respon meskipun sudah saya pm di forum ini atau pun email. mungkin melihat status saya masih newbie di komunitas ini, tetapi saya lihat apabila tindakannya dari seorang senior mereka mau membayar, berharap para suhu disini membantu saya menindak freewallet. sebelumnya saya ucapkan terimakasih
@Spidermantheman1 juga seorang newbie, tapi dia berhasil mendapatkan semua crypto yang sempat tertahan disana sebanyak $100K dalam Monero. Sementara beberapa pengguna juga telah menjawab tentang keluhan anda di thread itu dan mungkin anda hanya perlu melanjutkannya dengan konsisten sampai mereka menanggapi anda. Ada begitu banyak tuduhan tentang Freewallet, ane harap anda mendapatkan semua aset anda semuanya dari mereka. I would delete this information and be careful with what you post here. Scammers might pretend to be you, or worse, pretend to be from support while tricking you into sending them... whatever. There's a lot of scamming fuckwits that monitor these types of threads looking for easy prey. is there anyone here who can help me, I am having trouble withdrawing my funds from freewallet, I have sent all my data and selfies, but from 2019 until now the funds are still being held. every time I post on Facebook they always delete and my message is also not replied to. if needed I will screenshot my account and all the evidence of the 300 emails that have been sent but the answers are nonsense.
