What is current Ubiq DAG file size and how it what are the predictions about the increase of it?
DAG size increases every 30k blocks (an epoch) as defined by the Ethash protocol. Since Ubiq has an 88 second block time, the DAG size increases much slower compared to ETH or ETC. Here is a chart from OP. So DAG size is approx 1.15 GB or so at this stage of the network.

Having a hardtime maintaining node on windows7. Peers not updating properly, meaning delayed block updates. Sometimes 3 blocks already passed before getting new block even on latest release. Once on top then delayed propagation again. Its like: I0707 16:35:01.623071 core/blockchain.go:1103] imported 1 blocks, 61 txs ( 1.281 Mg) in 56.319s ( 0.023 Mg/s). #159356 [3fa363f7.] I0707 16:39:27.793544 core/blockchain.go:1103] imported 2 blocks, 243 txs ( 9.343 Mg) in 2.114s ( 4.419 Mg/s). #159358 [e8ab78c8. / 618a7534.] I0707 16:43:50.678358 core/blockchain.go:1103] imported 2 blocks, 264 txs ( 9.365 Mg) in 1.591s ( 5.886 Mg/s). #159360 [1b4bba21. / e4bd925e.] I0707 16:45:43.949836 core/blockchain.go:1103] imported 2 blocks, 248 txs ( 9.376 Mg) in 1.444s ( 6.493 Mg/s). #159362 [c5053894. / 30bd5aa6.] I0707 16:46:10.243340 core/blockchain.go:1103] imported 1 blocks, 125 txs ( 4.681 Mg) in 949.054ms ( 4.932 Mg/s). #159363 [4690483c.] I0707 16:46:11.414407 core/blockchain.go:1103] imported 1 blocks, 126 txs ( 4.688 Mg) in 1.147s ( 4.087 Mg/s). #159364 [36c9f62a.] > net.peerCount 15 >
Funny thing is, expanse node is also on go1.8.1 and not having any problem on syncing and updating. Could you please look at it. Many thanks. Try opening port on your router: Network listening port: 30388

As long as he or she stays inside crypto it's alright to moonlight as bittrex support representative so nobody should care about. However working outside crypto is not what I would do if I could just go full time crypto and had to choose between these two options. Anyway there might be details that only he or she could further reveal.
Check out my latest update where I elaborate on this more. https://medium.com/the-ubiq-report/update-july-6-2017-29216132c4c6

Can't sync this trash for some reason. Any clue how to fix? Looks like you're running with Fast sync. I've recently explicitly disabled Fast sync. Try it now. https://github.com/ubiq/go-ubiq/commit/440b5a2242f972f729bd1fd54b3ef43c2f49f831

Hi, we have made multiple attempts to reach the QTL development team without any answer. We are going to give them another 7 days or we will delist the market and open the wallet up for withdrawals only.

I received my tokens it was delayed over 48 hours as they warned. They have responded here and made adjustments as others recommended/requested by raising payout from 0.5 to 1.0 in efforts to resolve. I suggest exercising patience. I was mining in 2013 and victim of my fair share of scams, this is not one of them. Also make sure you get the correct website before downloading their wallet they are https://ubiqsmart.com/ check their twitter feed and be careful with your investments.Might I suggest Dev's direct all to your twitter page and giving regular updates twice daily on progress. Continuing to ease concerns of your supporters during these temporary delays should bolster public opinion and increase interest. Keep up the good work. Thanks. Spoke to the pool owner Angellox again. Looks like payments are flowing better and they actually had it set to minimum payout 0.1. A reminder that this is a volunteer run pool, it just happens to be the most popular. There are a lot of miners on this pool with 1 GPU so raising the minimum to 1 UBQ payout is definitely helping. Lots of miners were paid out twice yesterday from what I observed. The payouts at Ubiqpool.io have been resolved with the assistance of some code from Epool. Cheers.

Market cap looks good with pretty decent volume and reasonable amount at buy side to support the recent increase. Doesn't look bad at all calculating chances and expected next move give signal of staying in the game. A smaller correction has been completed with percentage of the decline is bearable and will be recovered soon in next few hours. It has to grow a lot to fill the gap which some other coins just left after leaving the rally.
Yeah would be good if Poloniex and Shapeshift add Ubiq. We encourage people to go ahead and request directly at the services they would like to see Ubiq added.

The Ubiqpool.io pool is a real piece of shit! The site of the pool says: "The minimum threshold of payments: 0.5 UBQ." But I already have 3 UBQ, but these funds do not go to the stock exchange - In addition, on this site there are no e-mail messages or feedback form for complaints. Therefore, the Ubiqpool.io pool is a real piece of shit! Dear developer, please kindly reply this information. Because of this, many investor lost trust to your coin. And price is nose dive. Thanks I am also waiting on my payouts. But there is a message on the website: http://ubiqpool.io/#/miners"Payout delays Due to the increase in miners payouts are having big delays, we're sorry for the inconvenience, we're trying to find a safe way to scale them. You can however see that they're slowly being processed http://ubiqpool.io/#/payments" There are literally 16 mining pools to choose from. None of the pools are considered "official" and are all volunteer run. I have spoken to the pool operator and yes the number of miners has increased from around 100 miners to 366 (current) and often over 400 miners. Pool operator mentions the default pool payment program doesn't work too well for the increased users. I mentioned to maybe increase the minimum payout to 0.5 UBQ to 1 UBQ but I'm not sure how the payment module works. The operator of Epool has also provided a modified payment module but the operator needs to test this out. In summary you can try and use a different pool with less miners. This helps mining distribution anyway which is encouraged.

Gubiq v1.5.12 - Backport security fix from Geth v1.6.5https://github.com/ubiq/go-ubiq/releases/tag/v1.5.12This is a security release to address an attack vector seen on the Ethereum network. It contains the fix released in Geth v1.6.5. Change:- Use a bitmap instead of a hashmap to store the results of jumpdest analysis, and optimise analysis process.
This release is highly recommended as it is a security fix that could potentially take nodes offline if the network is attacked. This release is already running fine on a number of our nodes so don't feel a sudden urgency to upgrade. The likelihood of being attacked is relatively low.
