21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto for travelling on: October 02, 2018, 05:49:12 PM
Hello guys, wanna ask you funny question. Let's suppose one is fond of travelling or wants to relocate. Do you have any ideas how could it be possible that in the future we buy tickets and book hotels with cryptocurrency? and can there be any coins for tousits in the future? it would be really convinient instead of exchanging money in each country. just imagine that museums, restoraunts, car rentals and all sorts of attractions admit crypto, how much easier it would be instead of dealing with cash! sometimes you can even be fooled in exchange offices or given counterfeit money. so many actions which only cause headache and anxiety. i have heard that Lufthansa took a part into project based on Eth and that they are investing into swiss project Winding tree and that they use their own coin LIF. as i understood that is really close to what i was dreaming about, a possibility for paying with crypto for transportation and accomodation. i have lost track of what they are doing now, though, maybe it all works right now. do you have any other examples or suggestions how crypto might affect our exploring the world? i'd like to know your thoughts Smiley
it was really nice. there were such projects in the past years. not now. after the fall trend, no one offered that kind of project. but you need to use a very functional coin. the purpose is to visit, travel, entertainment .....
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: October 02, 2018, 05:42:56 PM
50 bounty ! that's probably more than the number of campaigns I've been involved in in a year. bravo. great success. I hope they are quality projects and you get good profits.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criminal life is easier on: October 02, 2018, 05:32:52 PM
How do you think: does crypto make criminal life much easier? We all know that criminals use crypto to sell drugs, guns, people and everything else. Did crypto make doing such things easier? Earlier criminals had to think how to keep their anonymity and get paid, how launder their money, how to not get catched with this. But now they can just use crypto and all the headache about this financial troubles passed away. Of course there is much bigger positive points of crypto and not every user of crypto is a criminal, but anyway are you worried about this? Criminals also worsen the reputation of crypto that is not really stable itself.
I don't think so. because there's a way to prevent these illegal people. like banks. exchange companies keep personal information in the KYC/AML database. a system can filter for guilty people. prevents them from processing. in real life, a criminal does all sorts of things. he gets cash. someone else has a wire transfer. guilty everywhere. this feature can be used for criminals.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EGT] Egretia - The World's First HTML5 Blockchain Engine and Platform on: October 01, 2018, 06:05:47 PM
They going to develop own games or this will be platform for game developers? Tokens will be used for buying goods in games or in some other ways?
they say there are blockchain-based games linked to smart contracts. Support Node.js development plug-in better customization it’s own content.

blockchain will be integrated games. they can have their own special games. however, they will depend on the network of a general game. because if they would only make their own games, they would be presented with a different concept.
"
Egretia Wing
Support Web3.js code coloring, code hints
Support editor that mainstream development language and technology
Improve the efficiency of game development by visual editing.
"

With the developments in 2019, we will have more efficient visual knowledge.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP or ETH? on: October 01, 2018, 05:53:19 PM
it's really hard to distinguish between the two. because the highest volume of high quality coin. ripple, if you like the fluctuations. if you like stable slow ascents, ETH. I'il tell you again, if you invest in both of them, you'il be profitable.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid money on: October 01, 2018, 05:47:47 PM
One guy wrote a post on the Internet. He invested in an ICO and did not know what to tell his wife because the money he invested were borrowed from a bank and the ICO failed. Nobody wants those tokens anymore. So, what should this guy do now, in your opinion?

When we were launching an ICO I spoke to almost all of our investors. Not with all of them but with the majority. My message was simple – you should invest the amount of money you are willing to lose. I kept saying this over and over again. I even refused some of the potential investors. Not many, but still I turned two or three of them down. It was not about ethics. It was not about morality. It was not about reputation.

The thing is that one of my businesses is a detective agency. Thus, I saw many malicious fraud cases. People say a project will be a success and then some force majeure happens. This is when infuriated investors hire detectives to find the fraudsters. We conduct a thorough investigation on the case and see that no one actually intended to cheat at first. It just happened. They just did not calculate their own strength. Did not foresee all the possible outcomes. In fact, willful fraud cases are not as common as single cases of stupidity. But the outcome is always the same – court cases initiated by the investors and jail for the stupid entrepreneur.

Some people wrongly assume that it is possible to flee – there were cases when we had been searching for 2 years but managed to find people in the end. Whatever large amount of investments a person gets, they will lose it in a couple of years if they have no experience of managing such sums. Moreover, they will end up in a much worse situation than they were before.

Knowing all this, I have decided to work only with those investors who were ready to lose money. Even though my thoughts are unlikely to be heard, I highly recommend that all ICOs adopt this policy. We all play a very high-risk game: 9 projects out of 10 fail after collecting money. Different people, including ones like the guy I was talking about, invest into projects; they invest money borrowed from banks. These people are stupid. They are not ready to be investors. The ICO team has to explain that investing is out of their league. Maybe they are just not suited for this.

However, ICOs do not do this. As a result, after crying his eyes out, our guy will get angry and file a report to the police to initiate criminal proceedings against the ICO team. The team will have many unpleasant years ahead.

So maybe it is reasonable to prevent such situations? Maybe saying ‘guys, we can fail’ at the beginning makes perfect sense? ‘Investing credit money in an ICO is a bad idea and this is why we refuse you’?

The perception of reality is different amongst many people and especially when money is involved. It should be common sense for any investor to understand the risks involved in any startup. This is basically what an ICO is, a startup. Most startups fail, some have varying success, some are wildly successful...and the difference between all three could merely be time. Amazon for instance was going nowhere for years until just fairly recently. Now it is one of the biggest companies in the world.
As an investor you need to answer some serious questions:
1. Am i in this for the long term or short term?
2. Am I actively or passively investing time/money into the project (personal responsibility)
3. How much am i willing to lose
4. Will i conduct my due diligence in the project.

Number 4 is often the most overlooked question. Do I as an investor understand the product i am backing. Do i understand the risks, do i know who is running the company/project?

There are too many people shirking personal responsibility in life and this is the same thing with investing.
that's a good statement. questions and logical thoughts. it's very compatible. an investor with this kind of approach is the real investor who knows what he wants. such questions enable us to better understand project and investment. thank you.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ZRX] 0X Project Speculation on: September 27, 2018, 04:17:37 PM
0,00307140 ETH

on the downward trend; I did  ZRX sell - ETH buy. now I'm very hurt from the situation. I wish I hadn'T sold ZRX. ://
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whale alert tool on: September 27, 2018, 04:13:16 PM
you did a good job. well, congratulations. but whales don't seem to be as open as they used to be. the whales are now more secretive. they are avoiding fluctuations and speculation.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins with low cap ?? on: September 26, 2018, 09:14:36 PM
I choose two. Deep Brain Project and the sentinel coins. I trust Sentinel project partners. deepbrain is nice and makes a difference because NEO uses its infrastructure.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be XRP vs ETH again for second spot? on: September 26, 2018, 09:08:48 PM
Ripple is always a favorite coin. it may not be this year. but it will repeat in the coming years. I think there will be a change in the first 3 in 2019.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think? on: September 25, 2018, 07:51:25 PM
to overcome the fluctuating problems, I think this year, such trials are being conducted. so there's no other choice. you need to think about everything. it seems like a negative and catastrophic scenario, but it's not going to happen. I hope so.  Tongue
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH: is destined to be $2500 by October to December 2018! on: September 25, 2018, 07:37:49 PM
then I need to buy ETH now. to gain about 10x. that would be great. however, in 2017, too many ICOs took place. and what will the ICO owners do?
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: September 25, 2018, 07:35:01 PM
all the coins can reach their limits. however, this will take more than 50 years. mining will never end. because this system needs it. they're supposed to be newborns.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto friends and where to find them on: September 24, 2018, 09:04:18 PM
you really expressed it nicely, hundreds of people who are in your situation. the situation is actually very simple. this is actually a very different world. it's like we're in a time zone from the future. sometimes people want to talk about projects that shape the world in this market. but there are very few people around. I hope we can overcome such concerns in the coming days. I'm hoping for this quickly.  Smiley
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the best time to buy ADA? on: September 24, 2018, 08:59:52 PM
most likely, the market has secured itself to a level of 200 billion dollars. market recovers quickly after the fall. Cardano (ADA) also has 8 cents and a support value of 0.00035ETH. Wink
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 250 NEO or 2.500 Tezos or 10.300 XRP or 2500 NEBLs? What would you choose? on: September 22, 2018, 07:50:47 AM
I'd split 250 neo. Into 5 equal parts. (Tezos, ripple, neo, nebls, ETH) that's what I would do. if you can't decide. Neo is a nice project, don'T sell it.
Smiley
the volume has begun to rise, we need to be careful. we have to pay attention to investments.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wagerr Coin ***sports prediction thread*** on: September 20, 2018, 08:17:42 PM
it will be about 2 years. they were very popular once. but its competitors couldn't hold out much on the market. it needs to be listed on new exchanges. exchanges are nervous because of betting and gambling. they're afraid they won't be able to meet the demands. I have it. I've been waiting.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most promising projects in 2018 on: September 20, 2018, 08:07:42 PM
QuarkChain, Metronome, Dfinity, Nos, Nex …

in terms of the future of the team and the project, too much. what's the best project for? its the one who collects the most money. there are many projects of high quality. I'm confused. Smiley
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Omisego, Ripple, and Neo. on: September 19, 2018, 09:30:08 PM
I want some opinions from you for the altcoins and Omisego, Ripple and Neo. I see definitely potential in those projects. What do you think? My long term with ETH.
if you think long term. these kind of projects have proven themselves. ETH can bring more gain. because this project is really offering meaningful projects for the future.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy Wagerr before it's too late on: September 18, 2018, 09:32:09 PM
I hope you sold wager before it was too late. there's something wrong with it. and it's still on. deficiencies and problems must be corrected and completed.
