21  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 28, 2015, 05:51:25 PM
SpondooliesTech,

The SP20 is the best home miner I have ever had the pleasure of using.

I'm running 3 SP20's for an average hashrate of 3.3TH with a power draw at the wall measured by kill-a-watt as 1600W.

that brings me down below 0.5W/GH!

It may not be economically feasible for you to continue serving the home market, but you can be guaranteed I'll be a return customer if you make a new miner for us hobbyists!

Bump. Asking price 2BTC for all miners, shipping included.

I just finished setting up my new SP20 Nano farm up in the basement.

I used a d-link DIR-615 with dd-wrt installed to make a client bridge and hooked all the SP20's up with ethernet from the router.

Downloaded firmware 2.6.14, set voltages to 0.62 startup and 0.636 max.

Getting about 1125GH/s per unit at ~590W. Running 2 on a 1300W PSU and the other on a 1000W PSU. Fan speed at 20% seems to keep all ASICs at 85c and exit temps at 60c for the top shelf unit. You can't even really hear them at all upstairs unless you stand by the stairway.

Definitely pleased with this purchase!

Power supplies are not for sale.

I'm upgrading these units to SP20s and will be using them.

Asking prices are for ASIC only.

No its in my laundry room so the lint from cleaning the dryer filter tends to accumulate. I've regularly removed the dust from the miner heatsinks.

Bump.

Pictures added, asking prices listed. Does not include shipping

Sure, no problem.

I will take some pictures today and post them later.
28  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Zeusminer Scrypt ASICs (~80MH) on: February 18, 2015, 03:09:18 AM
UPDATE: 2BTC OBO for everything, shipping included. PSU not included.

I have around 80MH worth of scrypt mining hardware available if anyone is interested. Located in Ontario, Canada.

These miners give off a significant amount of heat, and my furnace has only turned on four times this winter as a result, which would be useful to heat a garage or basement/small house.

Units Available:

Zeusminer Thunder X3 - 30MH (0.4BTC)
Zeusminer Lightning X6 - 36MH (0.5BTC)
Zeusminer Hurricane X6 - 10MH(0.15BTC)
Zeusminer Blizzard X3 - 1.3MH (6 available, 0.05BTC) Some of the power bricks are now normal bricks (hehe). I use a PCI adapter into a regular PSU

This setup currently brings in about .015BTC per day on westhash.

I have no idea what these things go for these days.

Let me know if you're interested, send me a message or make an offer.

31  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Recommendations for 1300W and 1000W PSUs on: February 14, 2015, 07:59:45 PM
According to Johnny Guru,

The 1300W has peak efficiency at 50% load, but it stays above 90% up to around the 800W range which would be okay for around 1.35TH on one of these based on what I've seen from other results.

The 1000W unit does about 89% efficiency at the same loading, so they're about the same.

I don't really want to buy another PSU though haha, though so I guess I'll have to live with the 88% efficiency at full load on the 1300W; which is still quite good from what I understand.

32  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Recommendations for 1300W and 1000W PSUs on: February 14, 2015, 07:42:58 PM
Awesome, thanks a lot for the voltage settings!

I could pull another 1000W PSU from one of my CPU rigs if needed.

I'm most concerned with efficiency though; do you guys know which is the best combination between hashrate and power draw with these units?
33  Bitcoin / Hardware / Mining Recommendations for 1300W and 1000W PSUs on: February 14, 2015, 05:31:52 AM
Hey everyone,

I'm looking at replacing my scrypt miners with new units for SHA-256.

I have available a 1300W EVGA and a 1000W EVGA power supply both Gold Rated.

Currently I'm looking at the 3 x SP20's for $1195.

Is it cool to run 2x SP20's on the 1300W power supply when underclocked?

I'm hoping to run 2 off the 1300W PSU and maximize the hashrate for the remaining unit within the other 1000W PSU.

Would the Antminer S5's be better? I'd like to maximize perf./watt.

posted to Reddit too.

Anyone know why reddit won't display images? I'm not much of a reddit poster haha

On paper from the peak price its a large loss,

Personally I got involved back in August so I was able to claw most of it back.

I'm gonna write it off to experience. Glad i didn't invest more than a couple grand at the start.

Took 13 minutes for a ban.

Shits bad.
