It can be tough finding this coin. Although there are a lot of examples when coin is pumped 100x of its original value, it's hard to find the right coin. . People will shill and promote their own coins even if they are complete trash. Look for the projects with real use and promising technology and public devs. I prefer holding to stable coins which grow in value over time.

Hello, friend. 1200$ is not that much of an investment, however you can do something with that number. ETH + ETC is a good thinking to my mind: pumps are inevitable with these 2 coins, especially I am too bullish on Ethereum Classic (hasn't been pumped for almost a year now). But please don't take into consideration these trash coins -  Elix , PRL , Blue , AMP. If market collapses, they are going to fall hard. Also take a closer look at Fusion, good entrance price right now.

Ethereum experienced a very bullish run in January 2018, it went up to $1400, but right now ETH is around 700. It is a really low price for what it is, and  the market is very volatile. If the situation with ICOs, SEC regulations and countries adopting crypto assets stabilises, we could see increase of value in ETH, as I consider it to be very undervalued right now. Taking into consideration these factors, ETH can go to 2000$ and even above that number.

I am not that much of an an ethereum enthusiast, but i have invested in ETH and so far it has not come down to below 200$. And if we are talking about 5 years from now then it may increase in price drastically. Because more and more investors (even governments and corporations) are taking live interest in Ethereum and i doubt that ether will just crash because more and more people come to understanding that it is a multibillion dollar project.

You can check the Tezos blockchain project, investors have been waiting for almost a year now and I guess many of them a too desperate to get their funds back, therefore they might dump upon the initial listings on exchanges, that's where you need to buy the dip, as the project seems very promising - DPOS, staking possibilities, smart contract formal verification, faster transactions as compared to Ethereum... This is a long-term hold (1 year minimum)

I would suggest you finding a couple of good ICO projects with quick tokens unlock. Try to enter the White List, submit your KYC and get your allocation. This might be the best option instead of searching for good coins and looking for pumps. If you jump from coin to coin you chances of winning decrease. Try Quark Chain project for instance, you might get a chance there..

Proof of stake is great, thinking about that myself. It's like a bank but with higher percent interest, plus the asset itself has a potential for growth. Ethereum soon will transit for proof of stake concept, however I think it will require a large number of coins for staking (if 1000 ETH - that's too much). Tezos will launch soon, it requires 10000 XTZ to run a masternode and you can stake any amount of coins via delegated pools, for me it's the best option now!

It is very hard to foresee which coins/tokens are going to explode. As a rule, the small cap coins are exploding but thats like taking your chances and playing roulette. As for me I prefer mid-term and long term hodl. For example, Fusion (FSN) has already given 4x from the time of ICO and is skyrocketing right now. I thing it can make at least x10 in ETH value from the level it is traded right now (0.011 ETH)

I don't think ethereum can beat bitcoin probably because of the fact that bitcoin is the first ever cryptocurrency with the most highest rate ever if compared to the newly made cryptocurrencies. Another factor: bitcoin has been running as a technology without stops for almost 8 years and its current price is getting higher and higher. A lot of corporations (and even countries) begin considering bitcoin as a means of payment that can be accepted in their business transactions.

- "NEX": DEX on NEO blockchain. It promises to give dividends and will be traded as a security!
- "Phantasma Protocol": Next-generation messaging protocol, also based on NEO blockchain.
- "Egretia": HTML5 Blockchain Engine and Platform.

ETH is one (if not the most) of the most trustworthy cryptocurrencies in the world. It is not only a cryptocurrency, but a distributed computing platform which has the ability to run the smart contracs
That means infinite possibilities for development - even beyond the scope of the cryptocurrencies sphere. 
For some time I have been buying Ethereum, and I will hold it till the price reaches 2000$-2500$.

These are 2 totally different coins for me, just different cases..
Bitcoin is a digital gold and a "store of value" and ethereum is like a regular cash - a convenient way of transacting and participating in different ICOs.
It's too expensive to pay some staff in bitcoin with these huge commissions per transaction. So people will use it as an instrument for storing their value. But in modern world, gold is more expensive than cash, that's why Ethereum will never overtake Bitcoin in market cap..

My worst regrets of selling early are Ripple - I sold it at around 4000 sats and then it started a bull run and hit 14000. That was simple stupid from me. Then there was Stellar Lumens one time... I sold it for 1500 sats and a couple of weeks ago since then it shot for 4000 sats. I also made a couple of stupid sales as well, don't remember specifically already..

Out of the three options:
    1.Keystone File
    2.Private Key
    3.Metamask

... private key is less secure, if your machine is infected with a trojan virus - it most likely steal your private key. I prefer keeping the "Keystore Json File" on a separate USB flash card and encrypt it with a password. Also I understand, that Ledger Nano S may be somewhat expensive - but it gives you an extra layer of security.

There are lots of ways for Ethereum's use - day trading, participating in ICOs, holding as a store of value. As for me, Ethereum is a very conveniet way of transaction - for example transfering fund from one exchange to another. I also participate in various ICOs, and for that function - Ethereum is irreplaceble. Even if you want to invest in BTC, you need to specify you Ethereum's wallet for the project to give you ERC-20 tokens.

You always need to be patien for your profit! That's the only way you can achieve any kind of success. Profit is not coming easy )) If only you are not a day trader you should wait for some time for the project to develop and achieve it's milestones - test net, main net, various partnerships, listings on big exchanges, implementing different features. This is the path for long-term growth.

That is quite a bold statement that ICO will die in 2018. We are just in the beginning of the blockchain era. Therefore a lot of different projects will appear (even scam ones); some of them will repeat each other, some of them will introduce something new and hence will benefit the industry. Some of the projects I like most are: Dav Network, Egretia, Nex, Merculet, Quark.

When market is falling the best tactics is simply to HODL and simply not to check your portfolio every day. If you start doing certaing actions - you may be prone to mistakes and will definitely lose your money. Try to concentrate you attention on something else and when the market goes up you can sell for a profit. Cheers!

It would be my dream to live without banks and governments. However, I don't see it coming in the next 10-15 years. The main reason for that is that most people are not ready to take responsibility for their lives and their actions. My sincere desire and aim for the next decade to have at least less banks and less government in our lives!
