Hi -

Just started mining to Slush Pool with my Apollo BTC.  I notice in addition to my one worker, there is another that is disabled as illustrated in the attached.  Anyway to get rid of it from my dash?

Thanks!

That sounds almost too easy  Grin  Thank you for the assist.  I ordered an Opolo hardware wallet.  Should arrive by end of this month.

Just don't lose the relevant security info it makes you go through and obviously the device itself  Wink

Yeah, you bet!  I’m really good about recording my stuff and keeping copies secured away.

Hey -

Hoping this sub is a good spot for this. This is my initial foray into mining and I just purchased a full node and waiting on shipment.  I pre-read the setup and config, have a pool ready to connect.  The last piece of puzzle for me to understand is wallet connectivity.  As I'm mining into a pool, I'm assuming once I reach a payout percentage, I want to get it into cold storage for safekeeping.

Here is where I get confused: Do I install a wallet onto the controller and have it sent there from the pool?  Then, from the wallet onto my cold wallet?  Or is there another way?  Would appreciate some best practices or guidance.

Many thanks in advance,
-c

Your best bet is to get a Ledger Nano or Trezor wallet. It will provide you with a wallet address which you put into your pool account as your payout address. Then any earnings will be sent to your device of choice for storage.

I did not receive email.  Orders 4420 and 4492.  Are these considered Batch 3?  Thanks!

Edit-  Embarrassed Nevermind, I found it.

What was the final outcome?  On the website, you can pre-order Batch 2.  Wouldn’t we be waiting on batch 3? Confused.  @jstefanop - Can you provide some insight?  Thanks.

Um, just look in the Hardware section, here and here for their official threads.

Read both of this threads, last night.  Very helpful.

Thank you for your response to my question, I appreciate the feedback.  I'm assuming this is in turbo mode?

Yes, using a 500w power supply (not the 200w you can buy with it.)

Good to know. Maybe I won’t get their PS and score my own. Thank you.

Hello,

Hoping this is in the appropriate forum.  I'm looking at the FutureBit Apollo BTC full node.  Their site states: "Hashboard: 2TH/s to 3.8TH/s* SHA256 Mining Performance".  Can anyone who owns one confirm this?  Thanks!
