21  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN NEED NEW MONEY AS MUCH AS HALVING TO SEE SUSTAINED HIGH PRICES on: July 31, 2023, 09:21:18 AM
The halving is always what draws new money in. It's not like magically every four years like clockwork lots of people decide to start putting money into Bitcoin for random other reasons, the halving is always the reason. Or more precisely, the halving brings in a bunch of new money which increases the price and then a bunch of new people bring in a lot more money purely for speculation because they see the price going up, and that second wave of money is what causes the crash afterwards because they are the people who don't know what they are doing and get scared and sell as soon as the price starts dropping.

The halving is what brings in new money which is what leads to the bull market every four years.

I agree with you that the halving brings new money as the news of any sharp rise in price will be all over the place and people actually buy the news. What I only find disturbing is how Bitcoin could move to a high of $69k and drop to as low as $16k.You will agree with me that it take a strong believer not to fidget and that is what I think the author is point to; how to ensure that huge gains made by Bitcoin is sustained and corrections will not be so deep as to depict a failure.

But in all, Bitcoin have always come out stronger and better and the future holds so much promises.

Thank you for sharing this post. You have helped settle my curiosity of seeing different BTC addresses without a full knowledge of what they are.

A simple question I need to know is how to get or where are these addresses gotten? Is there a single website or application where one can toggle these addresses?

A newbie will most likely get confused on how to access these addresses.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful information. I have falling victim of scams on several occasions. Perhaps if I had joined this forum when I started my crypto journey, I wouldn't have made the numerous mistakes I made.

Back in 2021, I invested in an ICO that turn out to be a scam but someone made a post that he could help any willing investor get back his funds. He called himself a crypto syndicate and part of their job was to help people that are scammed get back their money as a way of sanitizing the crypto space and instilling confidence in people. Well, as the saying goes " He that is down need fear no fall"; so I sent my details and he went into work. To my greatest surprise, he recovered my funds and those of few others that reached out to him.

I wouldn't want to believe that he was part of the team as many would already be suspecting; I really want to believe that there are still a lot of decent guys in the crypto space who will go do there best to portray crypto in a good image.

I joined cryptocurrency in 2021 based on recommendation from a friend. Since then, I focused mainly on trading in exchanges. By this I mean, buying in exchange and holding till price rises and I sell for a profit. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience entirely but it is a slow process that tests patience, wisdom and greed.

Nevertheless, I believe there should be more ways one can find opportunities of making money from blockchain technology in general; this is the reason for this thread. Kindly, give recommendations as to how one or what one can do to make income (passive or active) from cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
You are already on the right track by starting trading a few years ago (based on your words), all you need to do is improve your skills and patience, if you have mastered both well then increase your trading capital.  remember, trading is one of the best ways to earn more crypto.

for advice on passive income in trading, i can't give the right advice because i didn't do that but don't you have the intention to open your own small business and then use cryptocurrency as a payment method, if indeed in your country it's not a problem then you will be a pioneer in the city or neighborhood where you live.

Yes trading is good but like I said before, it requires lot's of patience and other factors. This post was actually inspired by the need to diversify. A lot of good suggestions have been given and I will take time to research some of them to see the opportunities they present.

26  Other / Beginners & Help / Your best advice/recommendations for a crypto beginner on: January 16, 2023, 01:04:10 AM
Cryptocurrency just like every contemporary innovation is vast and encompassing. This practically poses a challenge for begjnners. Furthermore, choosing which aspect of crypto to venture into - trading, mining, investing in ICO and others - is a herculean task considering the various degrees of risks associated with each of them.

What is your recommendation for a beginner?
