No the coin is not a scam. One of our devs has posted on this thread on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th and 9th of July in the past 7 days. We're available every day in #fractalcoin (freenode). Hi,Claymore,I use your CPU miner under platform " intel Xeon E3 1230 v2 (4cores,8threads),windows 7 64bit",always get error message like this: ******************** ERROR ********************
CANNOT ALLOCATE MEMORY!
Error #103-1-1
Start miner with ADMIN rights to configure system for best performance and then
REBOOT computer.
It is necessary to do it only once.

v2.1 is available:
- Reduced number of outdated shares that miner sends to pool.
- Added fail-over feature, "pools.txt" file.
- Added watchdog for pool, if no new jobs are received for 20 minutes - disconnect.
- Added "-ee" option to close miner if no more pools are available in the list.
- Added "-wd" option to close miner if some thread hangs.

have anyone are mining XMR by solo or by P2Pool?

P2Pool is currently not implemented. You could solo CPU mine from the daemon: start_mining <your_address> <number_of_threads> You could solo mine on a single address from multiple machines. Currently if you have 3500 H/s you should get about a block each 2 days on average (more if you are lucky or less if you are not). With the difficulty raising each day I would not recommend you to solo mine with less then 2000-3000 H/s, but if you have 7000 H/s (this is a lot) you should solo mine for sure. If you want to GPU solo mine you should set a private pool of yours in order to do it (the pool software is open source), because you can't GPU mine from the daemon. If you set a pool you should automate the checking if the daemon freezes and restart it, because it's happening with the current code and you won't find blocks. that is very helpful what you said upon,thanks a lot! |

Claymore, your miner stops functioning when your dev pool is down. Can you find a solution to this please? Maybe mine on the same pool as the user specified but with your address?
There is no "my dev pool", you specify the pool and only this pool is used. I see moneropool.org is not available atm, just use some different pool. can u add the function like this :we can add a major pool and specify any backup pools at the one command line by parameters? it's important for miner can be running normally when pool are feeling DDOS attacks  |

I Test a single HD7950 GPU rigs,power consume data running Monero Cryptnote Alg is 208 watt, and it's 188 watt that running on X13/X11 Alg. |

Don't forget that with the last pump, Diff rise from 200M to 400M in three days... oh not! How many XMR I had mined was base on the mined number showed on pool's dashboard lookup by my wallet address, not by any calculator ! I think it's not cause by diff rise. And now,I redirect my hashrate to other pool's (mine.moneropool.org) ,all things be right now, they payout so quickly,and payout number just is dashboard showed mined number by my wallet address! |

Do not use that pool for now, he has had troubles with ddoses, dusts and now has stopped responding to emails and forums thread
How much is your hashrate? What rigs, GPUs?

Do I NEED to have 16 GB to RAM to run this miner properly ? I only have 8GB and 4GB on my rigs running 5 cards etc...
No,just need set WINDOWS's virtual memory to 16GB ,all things will be right! |
