21  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: July 11, 2014, 01:36:10 PM
In the official bitcoin-trader Facebook group, a user offered to perform the audit via a big company as suspicion is growing bigger.
22  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: New bitcoin open ponzi game with 150% hourly payouts on: July 11, 2014, 08:44:56 AM
Mark my words loophole, I'm going to become one of the most trusted members on here!

I believe it to be the same as any other gambling game, some people will win and some people will lose and its as simple as that!

And you will accomplish your goal by shifting money/BTC from some users to others and earning yourself some with that ?

This is a copy of the bitponzi.io scheme, we intend to do it better.

You have the same basic Ponzi concept like Bitponzi.io, copied their code and still claim yours to be better. How is that in any way a positive contribution to a community ?
Enlighten me Smiley

I will make all payment today

Great !

So do you plan to continue trading or are you done after the payments are completed ?

So ... are you still doing business or are you too busy paying back old investors ?
25  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitponzi.io - fair ponzi with automated hourly payments, 150% in 150 hours. on: July 10, 2014, 01:55:58 AM
We thought about that, but it seems really cumbersome to take it from each deposit.
That probably would raise a lot of questions. But I get your point.

Let's make the following rule - we withdraw 1 BTC each time we get new 100 BTC in deposits.
That is as soon as we have 100 BTC in deposits we withdraw 1 BTC, as soon as we have 200 we withdraw another 1 BTC and so on. If we cannot withdraw it due to low balance we wait till we have sufficient balance. We're here for a long term program, we don't need to take 1btc out and damage the program.

OK, so you get lots of tiny deposits, and for some of them taking 1% would mean taking less than a transaction fee which is very wasteful.

So how about this:

Each time you make an hourly payout, you pay yourself however much you're owed, based on all the deposits you've received since the last time you paid yourself.

That will usually not add enough to the transaction size to require any extra fee, and makes it clearer to everyone how much is really in the fund. As it is I don't know if you own 0.01 or 0.99 BTC of the fund in unclaimed fees.

I really hope there's enough "investors" checking the address' balance before sending their own money. But having a big fish in there would certainly attrack more tadpoles Smiley

During a bad movie festival, they managed to get the worst rated movie on imdb:

Manos: The hand of fate

It's so bad you go through the "bad, funny, bad, funny, bad ..." stages so often you eventually just start daydreaming to get away Smiley

There's also a MST 3k version out there.

Used localbitcoins once, but it's pretty expensive (10-15% onto current market value).
bitcoin.de is my favorite now. Works with SEPA, low fees and most of the time <24h 'till I have the BTC.

I'm gonna quote myself here: Smiley

"Sure, I'll just send my hard earned money to you, unknown person on an online forum. Seems like a good business idea. Oh boy, will there be a big juicy bonus for me as well ? Do you need my bank credentials and security details in before hand, to deposit more money ?"

35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 02, 2014, 08:42:13 PM

Hadn't heard of that Guttenberg fella before but by the sound of things his greatest error was probably not seeing the possible implications of what he was given to copy. Seems like a good bloke.

He did not quote, he STOLE large sections of his Ph.D. thesis and lied about it.

You seem to have a strange point of view on "good blokes".
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 02, 2014, 07:53:19 PM
until mr perfect (Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg) blew it all.

That's fairly an understatement.

First he copied wide sections of his Ph.D. thesis.
http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/plagiarism-accusations-widen-guttenberg-copied-work-of-german-parliament-s-research-department-a-746573.html

Then he tried to reemerge into German politics with bad excuses and accusations among his colleagues
http://www.dw.de/disgraced-former-minister-guttenberg-explores-return-to-politics/a-15653164

(Sry, couldn't find better articles in English. There's a ton of 'em in German though Wink )

Daytrading: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Daytrader+de.wikipedia&l=1
