21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: March 09, 2022, 05:16:08 PM
Do you have any pattern that you see or watch in the market to determine time to sell your hodlings and take your profit ?

Do you regret not selling your coins at any point because you didn't know it will drop ?

Can you share your opinion

Everything is just depends on your individual plan , meaning we have different reasons why we invested at first, so some do have long term plan, while some is short term plan, let say 1 yr, 2yrs, 4yrs... so someone who is looking at 4years investment time doesn't have anything concern with taking profit now, then in the other side if you're a short term investor take profit where is suitable for you. Let's say you start by first taking profit by riding the market
20% off, 30% off, 50% off and finally everything using fear and greedy index, it helps me a lot and I guess it helps you too.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Economic sanctions are not a war declaration on: March 08, 2022, 09:11:00 PM
Economic sanctions cannot be seen as war in my view , hence it a warning and a deplomatic way to draw the attention and weaken the strength of those engaged in a war economically and to see if they could change there mindset
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading should be supported by goverment on: March 08, 2022, 08:48:15 PM
Trading should be supported by goverment
Also should be some kind of reward or insurance kind of system if you lose you dont lose your own funds but they are free this way more people want to trade.
Goverment can easy support traders with traders social support allowonce i name it tssa allowonce monthly to spend like 1000-10k or if you have business account then even more support

If you said trading should be supported by Government,
The Question here is
Who will bear the lose?.
Who will gain the profit?,
and what category of traders are talking about, proffitional , average or newbies?.
That means any trader can wake up and ask government to support him ,so what if he or she wipes the entire account who's going to bear Such lose Governments?

I guess if this should be done there has to be a category of traders not all traders because Government is also out there for a business , meaning before going ahead and supporting it's citizenry in this Area, there should be a set of standard to be met for such empowerment and support.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 08, 2022, 08:18:21 PM
With the acceptance of bitcoin, ethereum and USDT as donations, Ukraine have made its step forward supporting adoption of cryptocurrencies. If this war hasn't happened many could've never understood the real value of bitcoin. Now every country will show interest in holding atleast a small volume of bitcoin, because we don't know what will be the situation of the country tomorrow. When it is required only the cryptocurrency can give hand and not the banking system.

Even if millions and billions were received as donations in fiat, the people never knew how donations were used. With cryptocurrency everything is transparent and this gains the trust and let's people know what is happening.

I totally agree with you in this aspect here , Indeed Bitcoin has played significant impact here in terms of it transparency with it transaction being viewable by anyone that wishes to, no matter any part of the world your coming from unlike when done with fiat currency it can only be viewed by the Government Authorities.
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: March 07, 2022, 10:08:20 PM
As a trader one key areas of your trading life you need work on is the aspect of emotional control, you might get all your analysis right and without having to control your emotion you might even close a wining trade or a trade that is just doing a pull back without having to wait for your stop lose get hit.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leverage Trading on: March 07, 2022, 09:23:07 PM
There is a lot different within 1x leverage and 50 leverage irrespective of the trading amount , one thing you have to note is that using 50x leverage is on the high one so manage your risk, the market makers will see such exposure as an opportunity and you will immediately get liquidated from the market, this is not advisable except you want to do some experiment with your capital.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: March 07, 2022, 01:42:20 PM
i learned about
Japanese candles
classic analysis
EW theory
harmonic analysis

and about the Indications, i learned how to use
RSI
MACD
stoch rsi
and volume profile

should I add anything to this?

Things you need to become a successful trader
are
You need a plan , in the sense that you ask your what's your goal?,
what do you really want to achieve in your trading life?

You need Rule base system ,here you choose a trading system that will work for you and back test it using historical data.
Discipline is another important aspect of trading to be a successful trader , Avoid the spirit of greediness don't expect to gain all or win Everytime and go with whatever the market gives you, there is always another opportunity.
Use risk management and avoid trading what your account can't carry.
finally, have patient in every trade you placed, I believe with this tools and more you will one day become successful because learning is a process.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: March 07, 2022, 10:19:00 AM
Diversification is good when you're into any crypto investment.
How do you diversify your portfolios ?,
For me I give attention and get more exposure to the projects I believe so much in,  like Bitcoin having the largest share base on percentage share 40%,15%, 10% ,5%, to the list.
then second thing I do is , if it happens that  we futunately finds ourselves in a Bull market , I use fear and greed index to reduce my exposure to Bitcoin and increase my exposure to altcoins and from altcoins to stable coins. Why I do this is most times I have been exposed to one or project and waiting for almost my whole life for the coin to rise but diversifying will give you edge over the market.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: March 05, 2022, 08:41:42 PM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?

One thing that made Gold and fiat currency have real value is that Gold and fiat currency is a believe system that works, so when you compare this two things with Bitcoin , tell me why will Bitcoin not have real value even when it's even more transparent than fiat currency today in the sense that we know how many number of Bitcoin that will be in circulation while for that of fiat they keep printing almost that's printed almost everytime .
you have to understand is that Bitcoin has already exhibited some characteristics of Gold and fiat currency and even more qualities , so when an asset Such as Bitcoin has shown such qualities Such as
a)security,
b)store of value,
c)inflation hedge that made Gold and fiat currencies become valuable today , So why won't bitcoin also have a real value?.
So in my view this is why I will say that Bitcoin has real value and worth investing in.
30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Member Newbie on: March 05, 2022, 12:17:57 PM
One very first I think that someone who is new member to any particular organization or community should do first is by learning the rules and regulations governing such community,  In this you've taken the right steps.
Learning is indeed a process which means everyone needs to learn in order to be successful in whatsoever someone is involved.
when you learn you earn this is to tell you that learning is even profitable all round.
You can't give what you don't have and as a newbie you need to learn from other people before you to get it right and also give out to others your own experience.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 05, 2022, 11:47:01 AM
No strategy is 100% efficient in as much as the goal is to make profit losses are inevitable so to maintain a clean trading habit once a trade goes some pips above a buying trade or pips below a selling trade emotions and greed should be avoided. Take the little profit available with hope to make more profits some other day. The market is always open for profit but greed can kill even in a profitable trade.

If they strategy works decipline should always be the watch word to keep the profit margin greater than losses. No business survives with constant loss

On point because there are a lot of liquidity in the market, so one should not expect to make the whole profit opportunity seen in the market,  just take your share and allow the rest to play and don't try to gain the whole thing.

The emotional aspect is another very key important area to pay attention , if a trader could get his or her emotion under control, I think it will actually go a long way in improving someone's trading Skil.
32  Other / Politics & Society / Re: One side donations for two country crisis's on: March 04, 2022, 07:35:53 PM
Why it does looks like a one-sided donation is base on the way with which Russia invaded Ukraine and it's obviously seen by everyone that this is an improper act , even though some Russian citizens do not side their country on this.
SecondlyThere is no Killing or damages done to Russian residents so far that could attract such support or donation, so I don't see any any reason here why they should get donation. In a nut shell and in my own view I don't think it's one-sided.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 04, 2022, 08:28:39 AM
Not sure that I would call it adoption but it surely gave Bitcoin A LOT of publicity in terms of being a currency/asset that requires zero permission. It's just unfortunate that a lot of people had to realize it only when in times like this — like they had to literally see it with their own eyes instead of just realizing it through studying it.

It is crystal clear that this is adoption, I don't think that a Government like Ukraine, that if they doesn't want to adopt Bitcoin will go ahead and make it official for the public to use Bitcoin ias means of donation and support to them , so they must have analysed this before they came up with such ideology.
Secondly remember that some rumors have been around Ukraine trying to regulate or officially adopt Bitcoin and this has served as better opportunity for that.

34  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 04, 2022, 08:09:29 AM
You are just using DCA in leverage trading and nothing new with that. There's no such as strategy in leverage trading especiallt if you are using a leverag more than x2 because you can easily lose if it hits your liquidity price unlike spot trading that you are safe since its only a paper loss. Leverage trading is for traders with high balance to give them more margin on there liquidity price. A normal trader with minimal balance is not suitable to play leverage trading even you are doing DCA because you margin is very small even if you have a stop loss. I will agree on this strategy if its nly spot trading.

The leverage system cited was for example , so I have used this strategy for both spot and leverage trading too.
Remember that before someone could start leverage trading I believe he or she might have had enough of training and trading experience and should know it involves a tradable balance.
Secondly to have lose a trade is normal.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / My Trading Strategy on: March 03, 2022, 02:22:59 PM
For many years of trading ,I have been looking for the perfect trading strategy , but I came to realize that there's no perfect trading strategy but you can create a rule base strategy that works when you decipline yourself and follow the rules even if at the end of your analysis and it finally becomes a lose trade, you're gonna be fine because you followed the rules base system you set for yourself and not trying to beat or out smart the market.
It is known that no one can actually predict the market but we can only react to the current market situation.
All these years of my trading journey, I incurred huge number of loses and still never give up because I have passion for trading ,
I used most of loses as part of lessons until I developed a Rule Base trading system that works for me called..
                        "CEST"
Condition, Entery, Stops and Target.

Note:This is not a 100% working strategy because there is no strategy that works 100%. In this my trading system I ensure that all terms and conditions are met before I take any trade, Once this conditions are met,
Added to my strategy is...

"DCA" Dollar cost Average

In this DCA strategy what I do is using lowest X leverage and increasing my leverage as the market continues to have a pull back until my terms are met.
  for example..

let say I want to take a  trade on BTC with a maximum of 10x Leverage, my entry will be split into 3 or 5 depends on your trading capital, then I set my first buy order in these method.
A. 1st entry 40k with Isolated margin 2x leverage 20% of my capital,

B. 2nd 38k 3x leverage 30% of my capital and

C. 35k 5x leverage 50% and this is  base on demand and supply {support and Resistance} zone in the market, this is because most at times the market does pull back lower than your initial entry point,
should this be a profitable trade, you will realize that before your 1st entry point you're already on profit even if the trades turns out to be a lose trade it not gonna be same as taking a one time trade at 10x leverage at around 40k.

Added to this, is Confidence and Patience.

How do you gain confidence?.
You gain confidence by backtesting your strategy with historical data not to check the amount you can make out of the but the amount you can lose and consistency of your trading plan.

All these with other rules has helped me over this years become a more profitable trader than I was.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The Impact of Ukrain Bitcoin Donation and Support. on: March 02, 2022, 04:53:09 PM
Bitcoin as we may know is yet to embrace mass adoption and it still under valued asset class, but before this Mass adoption could take place there are series of events that could happen to trigger the very adoption we have been looking for, And such events could be pestilence like that of corona virus , high inflation rate, wars and Economic sanctions that could cause some fiat currencies to lose their value due to Economic sanctions impose on some countries.
Example of these, is that of recent sanction imposed on Russia which have caused Russian ruble to decrease in value  and will push some of investors to start looking for alternative way to hedge their funds in some asset class such like Bitcoin and other digital asset.

The impact of Bitcoin Donation to Ukrain.

[1.] The donation and support of Ukrain using Bitcoin and ETH has a significant impact and have also increased mass adoption.

[2.] The increase in the demand for Bitcoin recently to support Ukraine brought about a slightly increase in the price of Bitcoin.

[3.] It has also created more aweness for Bitcoin adoption hence causing people whom might not have heard about Bitcoin or  transact in
Bitcoin, buy Bitcoin in order to render support or donate money to help the people of Ukrain to survive.

[4.] These will also attract the attention of some countries Government Authorities to  find  way and make laws to regulate bitcoin in their various countries and hence make Bitcoin easily accessible for their citizenry.

[5.] With the recent sanction imposed on Russia, Some countries will began to see Bitcoin as a store of value and alternative means for transaction to avert possible sanctions that could be impose on them and hence use Bitcoin for international transaction or even adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender like El Salvador.

In conclusion , though the Ukrain invasion has a negative impact on the people of Ukrain and it's residents, it also in other hands has a significant impact to the Mass adoption and aweness of Bitcoin.

37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage in crypto on: February 28, 2022, 02:07:51 PM
I have been profiting from crypto arbitrage for a while now, you can do arbitrage with ease you don't really need to be a professional trader to do arbitrage, that's one very good thing about this business.
Most of the Apps I use to profit from arbitrage is Apps like Coingap and Now2trade. Coingap gives you the percentage differences between exchanges and you can leverage from that. You should also take note of the withdrawal charges involve before diving in into any given arbitrage opportunity.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine is now accepting cryptocurrency donations. Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT on: February 28, 2022, 11:43:53 AM
For me this is all planned out and is part of the plan to help booster the adoption of Bitcoin and the Cryptocurrency space and is good for Bitcoin and the Cryptocurrency market at large.
Secondly, seem the Ukraine invasion it a strategy for Russia to shift away from their dependency on the Petro dollar Era like China did . All these are just fight for Economic power.
