21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake Costs User $1.1 Million in AAVE on: October 22, 2020, 10:23:38 PM
project restoring funds because it involves huge money, then how about those who have lost that little in the past and the projects answer is that they can't do anything about it? Isn't it fair?
It's not fair, but if the owner is willing to split some money for the development team, I think everything will be possible if there is money involved, principles will be eroded by money.
22  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 22, 2020, 10:03:29 PM
Evidence of authentication must be standard on every bounty campaign, but don't rely on just one proof. You can do a proof of ownership the address that you owned by signing a message on your address, and don't forget to include your address on your bitcointalk profile.

How to Sign & Verify Messages on Ethereum.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to invest in Binance on: October 19, 2020, 07:48:11 AM
Not all coin in Binance will rise and give you profits. Some of the coins like Defi are falling because they had being more of a hype and rose too much without much reason and as a result we are seeing the fall now. So only invest in such coins from Binance in which one is conformable that it will continue to grow and rise as well.
Coins listed on the Binance exchange, will get more attention than if the coins were listed on other exchanges, for example, Filecoin, which experienced significant price changes when listed on the Binance exchange.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 18, 2020, 06:46:31 PM
Just imagine if there is no big hype of DeFi projects today will new developers start switching to DeFi potential or build DeFi projects from scratch? No I guess, this is why I think that majority of DeFi projects will die between now and coming year, a painful death I think because they will turn scam, ICO investment websites are full of unknown DeFi tokens that are targeting uniswap exchange for listing, the DeFi tokens have no ANN on this forum and they have low max supply, what's even more disturbing is that people are investing on these coins, I feel like we are going ICO round 2 again
I agree. Now that investors are flocking to try to get into projects with the theme of decentralized finance because they are already tired of ICO or IEO, this is natural. Soon the decentralized financial hype will be obsolete.

I am also getting bored with the concept of decentralized finance projects, which are just like that. There is no variation. They only take ideas from other defi projects.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS BINANCE SMART CHAIN? WILL BINANCE BECOME NEW ETHEREUM RIGHTS? on: October 18, 2020, 06:20:04 PM
BNB holders who are interested in staking BNB can also assist in the development of Binance Smart Chain and earn bonuses. Can Binance replace Ethereum?
The answer is, of course, Binance can replace Ethereum, but Binance must have advantages that differentiate it from Ethereum, if Binance only has a few advantages, I think it is impossible to beat Ethereum. For now, we will see how the Binance smart chain develops.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform! on: October 18, 2020, 06:03:56 PM
~snip
I respect your opinion but DEX & CEX for me are the same 'not your coin & not your wallet'.

for some reason I don't really like DEX. CEX like Binance makes me feel more secure about the assets I own.

It is up to you to choose a centralized exchange or a decentralized exchange, but the fact is that exchange hacks are more common with centralized exchanges. Although that does not mean that decentralized exchanges are safe from hacking, the data says that decentralized exchanges are safer.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Altcoins That Suddenly Make the Top 25 Marketcap List? on: October 17, 2020, 09:59:39 AM
I saw it came weeks ago suddenly in top 10, now its still top 10.  How did this coin come out of no where?  Also, wrapped bitcoin?  That is over 10k a coin.  Where did that come from?
Wrap bitcoin into the top 20 because most people use it. Everyone needs bitcoin at erc20, so wbtc was created to strengthen the integration between ethereum and bitcoin. You can read more at https://wbtc.network/
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 17, 2020, 09:26:47 AM
I agree, if indeed someone wants to survive crypto at least they have to learn all about crypto, there is no way they can stay here without knowing anything, because you can lose your money in a short time if you don't know how to make it right.
They don't have to learn all about crypto. All they have to know is managing emotions and the concept of trading and reading charts.
Now there are no more profitable initial coin sales, so never buy coins during the initial sale. It's better to purchase coins that are already traded on large exchanges.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO isn't as bad as people make it seem. on: October 17, 2020, 08:43:43 AM
The simple rule is "buy at the bottom and sell at the top". But i don't think this applies to all coins, it only applies to solid coins like bitcoin, ethereum and the likes, because they have stood the test of time and would surely find their way back up. But most of these new coins, if you buy at the bottom, the price might still go lower and keep you trapped there. so it is better to wait and see a clear move up before you get on the train to avoid fake outs.
Following the FOMO hype is not wrong, but you have to think before purchasing because if you are trapped, then you will lose. Follow the Fomo that just happened. For example, yesterday, filecoin was accused of being a scam by Justin. Then you have to quickly short 1-2 minutes after the news of the scam accusation out. In essence, you have to understand a good time to buy.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: October 17, 2020, 08:20:32 AM
Scams are hard to get rid of, but experienced bounty managers may not recruit potential scam projects early in the review process.  Let there be fewer bounty campaigns, but they will be of higher quality.
We don't blame the project that did the scam. We have to blame the stupid participants who continued to follow the scam campaign even though it was clear and was told by senior members that the project was a scam but forced to join.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strictly for those who have ears on: October 17, 2020, 08:00:46 AM
I already know that the project you mentioned is a junk project. It all can be seen from the quality of their website and unclear team members. If you are indeed someone who doesn't care about risks, please buy coins from the project, but for someone who can think sensibly will avoid the above project.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: October 16, 2020, 06:29:23 PM
I don't think there is anything to be afraid of. The same has happened for CryptoKitties in the past. Such densities will help the Ethereum to develop over time, and it should be noted that Ethereum is still improving.
The fear is that this fluctuating gas price will cause no adaptation from the community because of this uncertain cost, I am not afraid of the nominal amount of ethereum transaction fees, but I am scared of its instability.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 16, 2020, 06:10:01 PM
Given the latest hype news from Uniswap, is it possible that in the new management scheme there will be risks of centralization and possible absorption by big people?
For example, the Dharma Corporation may well exert pressure and control over Uniswap.
Many people use Uniswap because the exchange is decentralized, but the possibility to become centralized will always exist. But I think if this action is taken then, Uniswap will lose its identity.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: October 15, 2020, 10:20:35 PM
Seeing the current world trend, the possibility of Crypto being banned is tiny. Still, if this scenario occurs in my country, I will first read the government's regulations, whether Crypto is prohibited from being used for daily transactions or is prohibited for investment assets and daily transactions. If the government forbids Crypto to be used as currency, I will carry out the order because, in my country, there are still not many shops that accept payments in cryptocurrency. Nevertheless, if Crypto is prohibited for investing as well, then I will create an exchange account with the VPN of another country, and when I want to make a withdrawal, I need to sell Crypto with another currency pair that I wish to then I sell that currency with my country's currency.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the cheater bounty participants began to act again on: October 15, 2020, 04:40:59 PM
currently I am one of the assistant bounty managers, currently there are many cheaters who follow the campaign that we are managing and what we find that the cheaters are starting to act again with multiple accounts by creating a new bitcointalk account to join the bounty then using other people's social media link profiles

Until now, there are still many chats who say that their social media profile accounts are used by other people
I also have difficulty handling it because they also create PoA in every campaign so that it makes us not know who the original owner of the social media is until finally we tell the bounty participants to give negative trust to all accounts that use their social media links because it is very detrimental to participants who honest and also a project developer

so I invite all of you to do the same by double-checking the bounty spreadsheet that you are following and if you find your social media profiles on other bitcointalk accounts to give negative trust
Since long ago, I have disliked social media campaigns because the requirements were too easy, and the wages were too small. I suggest limiting social media campaigns with conditions such as having more than 1000 friends or 1000 followers. That's better, but if you want to be more stringent again, add the rules only bitcointalk accounts with a rank above full members who can join, that's my advice.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to manage your stop loss for good trading result. on: October 15, 2020, 03:24:41 PM
People already understand the stop losing feature, but what many people still don't understand is a good stop losing calculation because if you are too close to the starting point, then you can lose the chance that the price could go up, but vice versa when you set up too many mistakes far from the initial point then you will lose.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 15, 2020, 03:00:38 PM
A scam is made up of two components: the fraudster and the deceived person.
Over the years fraudulent practices have become more sophisticated and innovative. The scammers are also extremely diverse they can be either new or old in their marketplace that generally believes in rewards.
Therefore, it is flawed to say that the scammers are greedy, have no knowledge and have too much confidence in the scammers. We need to consider the objective reasoning of the fraudsters' progress.
Do not be too quick to label a project as a scam because we must first understand a scam's definition.

The scam, according to the Merriam-webster site, is "a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation," so the question is if there is a project that promises the value of the tokens they make will turn out to be worthless, do you think a scam or not?
38  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ICO implementation, investment search (for free) on: October 12, 2020, 06:48:31 PM
up
It's funny to see you bump the thread you created but don't reply to the posts of the people above who question the capacity and quality as well as the business model of the project you are running.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 10, 2020, 08:18:49 AM
Why are you confused about the defi bubble? The fact is that today the exchange volume on the decentralized financial exchange has reached 900 million dollars. This amount proves that Defi has not lost its prestige.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 08, 2020, 10:50:11 PM
I know 99% people working on Bounties they really work hard.
A bounty campaign is an easy job. You don't need to work hard. You just need to make quality posts that can be useful to others. It's that simple.

Now days bounties are really worthless. 90% Project is fake and Scam.
Don't be a loser, look for 10% of projects that don't scam, don't give up, and don't complain. If you take the time to read and analyze a project, you won't be fooled, but unfortunately, you don't do either of those things.
