21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 20, 2023, 09:07:01 PM
These two clubs have faced each other many times, we cannot underestimate Sevilla. The previous club from Spain had also beaten Manchester United by many goals. Sevilla is the only club from Spain that still remains, as well as Man United from the English league. Of course, many have pinned their hopes on the two clubs. In terms of league standings, Sevilla is far worse than Real Betis.

Sevilla and Manchester United haven’t meet that much but the last three European meetings has been in the favour of Sevilla. Manchester United should not underestimate Sevilla in the Europa league because they are better than Betis. And in games likes this experience matters at all. But should United stay in this top form then they are most likely to win
22  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much return are we expecting next bull run? on: March 20, 2023, 08:48:11 PM
Have been in crypto just over a year now so have yet to experience a bull market and up till now I have just bought and held.

Currently my portfolio is 10% down and am not planning on selling any until I 2x at least.

Bitcoin takes up 30% of my portfolio with the rest in altcoins.

What is everyone expecting in 2024/25 bull run? Is a 10x a good return or should we be hoping for more?
It’s going to be a different kind of bull run this time around, recession lurking, FED’s growing and much more. Although I expect close to 4x return, I don’t see bitcoin moving to 10x. Only Alticoins mostly meme coins could grow into that.

I see you have filled up your portfolio with Alticoins and it clearly shows that your are looking at getting a huge return this bull run. My advice is only put in money you can’t afford to lose in this Altcoins and don’t take them as investment assets because some could even collapse before the bull run comes
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Asset performance Q1 2023 on: March 20, 2023, 04:16:26 PM
What's the reason behind recent BTC growth? Just wondering.

Many things. First after every bearish period then a little pump will come people might sometimes call it a bull trap before the actual bull run. But in this case I would say the recent happenings around banks like Silvergate, signature and Silicon Valley has prompted people to move away from banks to bitcoin and as the demand increases then we will have an increase in price

25  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the increase in the price of Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2023, 06:16:23 AM
Last week 3 Banks in the US went down, Silvergate Bank on March 8th, Silicon Valley Bank on 10th and Signature Bank on 12th and if you look when the market started rallying it gives a clear idea why the BTCitcoin market started rallying, after all BTCitcoin is created to be an alternative when fiats and banks fails and people are identifying that and moving their assets to BTCitcoin and hence the rally.

The market has been let’s say in the a bull trap since the start of the year as the new banking policies are pushing people away from fiat. Top banks been faced with bankruptcy and the much news around hyperinflation has pushed the bitcoin price and I expect it’s rise since with many new investors in demand because of the next halving
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin can replace banking system digitally on: March 19, 2023, 06:00:26 AM
The government had known since that the counter banking will be effective in this digital era because of the hitches brings. Legalization of bitcoin will have been better but the government lack of control of it will always be a big problem for them to think. That is why we have the CBDC been introduced by the government. Will bitcoin replace banks now? No, because of its volatility the fiat is still much needed for daily transactions
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some good rules for trading ask newbies. on: March 18, 2023, 07:37:03 AM
I would say I agree with almost everything of you’re advice, most especially number 9. One has to separate his emotions of always earning profit from trading. Every traders aim is to make profit but once you highlight it out that every day isn’t for earning it you tend to be comfortable trading rather than jumping from coins in search of profit.

It is also important to sometimes follow the crowd because part of the research technique for cryptocurrency is to check the community strength but blind following the crowd mostly social media hypes is risky
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 17, 2023, 10:04:40 PM
A scammer will always use every method to get his job done. They are just like politicians doing everything in their power to win an election. We have seen numerous times projects that underline some mistakes in other project and promised to correct them and they all end up dead. I am practically sure since they have been recent debates as to maybe it is non Haram for Muslims to invest to cryptocurrency that might have prompted this Islamic coin developers to give it a name just to lure people mostly Muslims into investing in it
29  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Important info on: March 17, 2023, 09:59:02 PM
Kyyc e no bad or dangerous, di way you put it go make pesen fear, just that gamblers refused 2 read the T/C b4 registering 2 a casino bcuz of what dem want. And also casinos misuse kyc, by asking it as di wrong time. Even not KYC is one of the best thing to do. Like Binance, Palmpay, and other online Banking, b4 u do any transactions, u must identity urself by imputing the KYC nd dat is best way to do it. And casinos suppose to imitate like this.

KYC get him advantage oo because at least once person get problem let’s say P2P on CEX get problem with KYC dem fit trace am. But u don imagine why many people Dey against from this companies na mostly because some of these companies sell off your data easily without your consent and that danger surpasses anything. KYC is also a tool for Hackers to get peoples data after breaching into a companies serve and most at times this data are used by hackers to commit crime and when they get caught it comes straight back to the owner of the data with the person knowing any of the thing they committed
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 17, 2023, 09:46:01 PM
We are very optimistic about how bitcoin will change or have a greater impact in a nation economic. It could great jobs only for people that blockchain technology, it could reduce the cost and time of transacting with people in other parts of the country without passing through the rigorous regulators by the government or banks. But one thing it can’t do is save a nation from poverty. Only a means of getting income can do that. And with bitcoin you need an income to buy and save your bitcoin. You can’t definitely ask someone that needs to feed from hand to mouth to invest into bitcoin and allow it grows into profits

this case, I always wonder whether this is how Ten Hag's obsession with Dutch players was like.
Even though he has been disappointed several times, he continues to do the same thing for this one player. Indeed, in this case De Jong is one of the young players who is quite good, but are you really not tired of the rejections that Barcelona continues to do now because they seem to try, who already know the answer will be the same by Barcelona

There is a saying that once you set your eyes on something then you should go for it. Eric Ten Hag sees de Jong as his missing puzzle at Manchester United and with Barcelona willingly open to sale him then Manchester United just have to try again. This time they might be lucky. My worries is let him not come and be under pressure in the premier league because of the physicality in the league
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 11:30:54 PM
I am waiting for many people predicting Arsenal is the candidate winning Europe League tittle 2022/2023 season  Grin, many of them comparison with Arsenal achievement in domestic league because managed top standing position behind 5 points from Manchester City, but Europe League have difference atmosphere and Arsenal have eliminated on 16th round from not favorite team Sporting Lisbon.

Getting draw on first and second leg and not applicable with away goals match extended until additional extra time and Arsenal have loss trough penalty kick, right now left Manchester United as favorite team winning Europe League but I don't sure because still have Juventus although not favorite team but success winning 16th round home and away match from Freiburg.

It is funny how you called out people that actually thought Arsenal will triumph and you also ending it by saying Manchester United will win. Both teams have done well this season mostly in their domestic league but when it comes down to European competitions like this then we might pick our favorites and but also keep in mind that they are dark horses. Arsenal did well today but just like everyone has been saying they don’t have such squad ti compete in both EPL and Europa. A little tweak in formation today and they felt this means the substitutes aren’t just good enough.

Right now I will have to wait to see who both Manchester United and Juventus meet in the last 8 before drawing my conclusions, what if they should be drawn together? Then I will certainly be looking out for the winner of the tie to win the title
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 16, 2023, 03:50:11 PM
now the previous rumors regarding Barcelona and Madrid being interested in Julián Alvarez had to be heartbroken. because it was played quite rarely, many fans thought there would be no contract extension between Julián Alvarez and Man City. but the latest news is that both of them agreed to extend their second contract which is quite long. hopefully, he has enough opportunities to play in the squad. it would be good for him rather than too much to sit on the bench.

Although Manchester city is a big club but I don’t see the reason why Alvarez had to agree to such a long term contract so fast. He should have waited till summer and listened to offers from Barca and Madrid. I see him fitting into both teams or better still other top clubs. With Halaand still in the club and on current form he might see little of playing minutes. As for Manchester City I think a wise thing by giving a long term contract. Sooner or later we would see Halaand been purse by galaticos like Madrid so having such an exciting striker on Their team is good
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which is more paying? on: March 14, 2023, 06:59:02 PM
It definitely depends on the country you are coming from, in some countries the pay here isn’t up to the minimum wage but reverse is the case in some countries. Regardless of the country the government job or a well established business should be priority because it is a continuous job unlike earnings From this forum or internet which could end at anytime. With even a government job one could take a side hustle with internet earnings since it isn’t that stressful
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you Think might aid the global adoption of Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2023, 04:07:50 PM
Talking about Bukele’s policy in El Salvador, I feel people that are against his policies or his administration are the ones painting his idea of having bitcoin a legal tender bad. It is purely politics and I don’t think it was forced on them.

The government definitely will be a big role in the global adoption of bitcoin by making it a legal tender. When it is a legal tender or even free from ban people will use more of it and through the process it will attract more investors towards it. But if the government placed a ban on it, it definitely has its toll on people mostly older generations as they tend to run off from everything illegal and this could reduce the rate of global adoption.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 14, 2023, 03:56:15 PM
Will you really be able to Hold the bitcoins for your baby till he/she becomes older? 18years is a long time and a lot of things can happen in that time. If you want to invest in bitcoins for your child, you need to be invest a huge amount and not crumb by crumb. Also before you child come of age, you have to ensure that you have done the part of educating him or her well about what bitcoin really is, so that at the end when you hand them ownership of the bitcoins you have been keeping for them, they will actually know the value and not waste it.

This amount looks like a good start to me and it doesn’t necessarily needs to be a big amount before they start. She could increase the amount as child gets more funds either through birthdays gifts or others. With this amount it might be easy to hodl on to those years without panic

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins thrive in the shadow of Bitcoin ? on: March 13, 2023, 07:51:01 PM

Despite the recent price decline of Bitcoin, the prices of huge altcoin names such as ETH and BNB have gone up. Over the history, Bitcoin has been and still is the most reliable cryptocurrency and the others don't seem to overtake Bitcoin's dominance in the foreseeable future. In the current bear market, will altcoins prosper and gradually challenge the place of Bitcoin ? Why or why not ? Please share your thoughts.

Let’s look at it this way. How do you overtake something? You certainly need to solve the problems it has. These Alticoins have failed to solve any problem they think bitcoin hasn’t solved. We see coins like Eth moving to POS and it didn’t solve any problem. At this time I don’t think this Altcoins can overtake bitcoin, they will follow in his shadow and even the market trend it is such
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of project we shall look into to prepare for the next bull?? on: March 13, 2023, 04:09:38 PM

If a project couldn't build during a bear market then they are probably just after the money so you should avoid them.
If devs are serious and will continue to work despite the market condition then it's probably a good gamble.

Quote
So, what kind of project will be more benefited in the next bull??
The most hyped if we're only talking about monetary benefit hehe. Of course there's also the other side that they die the fastest so be very careful.

Slow moving but steady development if you're looking for a less risky investment.

The most fascinating thing about the bear market is that they actually test this Altcoins during the bear market one could actually see those that can’t do well.

I will be picking coins like etherium, polygon matic and Solana. But for a little profit gamble one could look carefully at meme coin/tokens on those top coins blockchains. AI tokens are also a good idea since they are currently the most hyped. But one thing is put only what you can lose on them and don’t do too long term on them because I doubt their longevity.
40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To all women in bitcoin world on: March 13, 2023, 03:59:50 PM
Um. I do not believe that there are any women on this forum because this forum is full of such asinine garbage and hateful chlurmcks that it will immediately turn off any female human. Women inherently understand that Bitcoiners should not reproduce. After all, Bitcoin has a mining algorithm that was never designed to advance science, but Bitcoiners can't understand this because they are hateful science deniers.

You might have one way or the other be annoyed by some things in this forum but this words are way too harsh. You might have your doubts but this forum certainly has women and they have proven to be resourceful members like lovesmyfamily, Royse, bitcoingirl are big asset to the forum. So assumptions of women can’t cope here doesn’t apply to todays women. Women have been in difficult places or professions  ( example is the military) than here and they manage to cope perfectly
