I heard on IRC that Bitkey is delayed, ICG people are worried
Just to be clear, WE at the ICG Team are not worried about Bitkey being a little delayed. We know Bitsta is a good dev and we will wait foras long as it takes for it to be produced flawlessly. I'd much rather wait then have something released incomplete. Everyone remember how root release was delayed a bit? And what happened? After release the wallet worked perfectly. Synced in a second pow went great, and pos transition was perfect. Can we give Bitsta a little credit? Damn ADD kids don't have enough patience to save their lives. I'll check back in a week, meanwhile grabbing cheap coins. Regards, LC |

Hello people!
I am the new developer joining the team.
Since I am just an amateur on the altcoin area it will take me a little time to settle down with enough knowledge to start be productive but it will worth it!
I have experience in IA (algorithms) and web development (mostly back-end) with technologies such as javascript, sparql, html5, nodejs, etc... you can imagine.
I hope to be useful for the team.

For all of you already panicking....you do realize its still being mined right?
Miners always dump. Period.
Not hyping because I don't hype but from what I've seen in the works from Bitsta, this coin has a lot of value that isn't being realized.

I didn't think the mining was too bad.
Managed to get a little over 5k ROOT for a investment of 0.4 btc
8k per ROOT average, yeah I'll take that.

So you didn't take 100,000 coins for yourself?
of course not. check the blockchain. the coins from premine still ARE ALL on the premine public addr. regards bitsta Ok then man. You said total coins = 3,000,000 right? You said the IPO is 50% of the total coins right? That's 1,500,000 right? So why On the block explorer does it show 1,600,000 for the premine block? I don't understand. yeah thats right. but we raised 111 BTC from the POI instead of 100 BTC. therefor we had to extend the premine by 100k ROOT. doesn't affect anything except that the PoW is a lil smaller & highers the value. Ok then I understand now. You should adjust your OP to reflect the true # of coins then. It should read 3.1 million total coin not 3 million right? I believe it is still 3 million coins. The premine is 53% which had to be adjusted for that extra 100k due to investors. 1.6mil/3mil = 53% This is my understanding. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Regards, LC |

Read the forum and I have a few questions.
First, I have a 10tb system that I want to dedicate to mining burst.
So I need to generate plots to fill up each drive before mining? So I need to run POCMiner on each HDD?
I have not been able to find any information in terms of returns on mining BURST (TB/BURST).
Can someone who is currently mining post some their results?
All in all its a very interesting project and I would like to give it a shot.

You need to generate plots for each drive, yes, but during this process you can also mine with them, in this case you will read in the miner windows a reading error, but don't worry, it doesn't affect mining! Be carefull, don't overlap the plots (read in the how-to)! Even if they are on different hard drives! You need to run 1 wallet server and 1 miner on each drive where you want to mine! For now, there isn't a calculator, I can tell you my results: with 3,2 TB, in the last 24h I've hit 3 blocks! Thanks for the great info. Im trying to work on getting this setup tonight! |

Hey Guys,
Was just reading up on Rootcoin and see that it's very close to launching (8/22).
Does this mean the Bitkey implementation will be completed for ICG as well?

For all those waking up to this FUD, remember that DEV has delivered on everything that has been promised so far. Also, there are 3 developers involved.
Dev didn't quit, just some guys making moves and scaring people to buy cheap coins.
The problem with this kind of behavior (causing FUD to buy up cheap coins) is that it results in breaking/killing the coin itself. Investors lose trust even when the devs deliver. Too many times I've held on after a FUD storm like this because I believed in the coin and developers, it just never fully recovers. Good luck with the coin, but I am out. FUDsters will get whats coming to them in time. Moving on. Regards, LC |

I wasn't thinking of taking it over alone. I was saying if it was abandoned I'd pick it up and run with it. Glad to hear you're still on track. Now tell that to the dumpers. They're going to miss out on a 10x gain.
Just makes it better for the rest of us. I really like seeing how active IRC is. Glad to see everything pushing forward and looking forward to the new wallet! |

I think NAV will recover to at least 1k. Too many people panicking. Picked up some cheap coins at least.  |

so when is voot going to 10k+ ?
lol voot is going higher than 10k but if it takes a while so be it, i have patience Do yourself a favor and forget about the price for a while. This coin looks real strong and has great things in the pipeline I'll check the price in a couple months. lol i know i wish i could do this but im trader, so always looking at computer doesnt help . but il tel you one thing i aint selling voot, just stocking up  Yeah I hear you. I've been playing the channel we're in a little bit to pick up a little more. Seems like we always get dumped back down to 1k-1.1k after we hit that 1.3k-1.4k mark. Holding 60% of my coins in my wallet though. |

they have less and less coins for sale the price is too low miners dumping during pow. price should rise when pos begins. cheers! |
