This is a PERFECT example of how things SHOULD be...

Notice how the nipple doesn't stick out over an inch and threaten to poke your eye out if not careful ?
.....or run the risk of making your lunch crawl back up your throat if looked at for too long a period ?

Please quit pimping your mail order bride.

Dude, if you don't like just don't look. Keep 'em coming Sabi...

Again, you are confusing yourself.  The administration of a taxation system may be rubbish but its is still a taxation system.  Tax is taking legally; theft is taking illegally

I think what you are trying to say is that you don't like the idea of law and therefore all actions that are "legal" under the present system are outside the law for you.  Its a valid viewpoint but you can't use words like "theft" or "property" if you don't like the idea of law.  They are legal creations.

The concepts of property and theft existed long before the concepts of legality and law.

It has long since become a tradition to only patch stuff up when an actual attack emerges, hence leading to emergence of a tradition to demonstrate the "seriousness" of attack.

Yeah, especially when someone (CH/RS) dares you to go ahead and do it...

Theres also the recent situation where one of the  main spokesperson was caught posting on rentathailadyboy.com and skipping out on an order to pay victims of a mortgage scam.

I still havent seen the bitcoin devs make a statement that they disprove of this behaviour. Bitcoin is now seen in some places as a pedophile network or as a haven for scammers.

While I think a lot of it is a hit piece it still speaks volumes when there is crushing silence on an issue.

Don't forget money launderers and drug addicts :-D .... I suspect a lot of newcomers come this way out of curiosity by reading about The Silk Road

Now, now - no need to be jealous. Maybe one day you'll be able to use solidcoins to buy something.

I think it depends entirely on your cpu speed. The display on the page should show you your hashrate and an estimated time for a payout. I don't know how accurate their estimate is, but I do know it depends largely on luck. The payouts don't add up to much, but I guess it doesn't really cost you anything to have it running in a tab either.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / What would you like to buy for BTC? on: August 08, 2011, 05:08:28 PM
Yeah, I'm a newbie to this board but I've been buying and using bitcoins for a few months now. Bitcoin is an idea that I really like, but for it to take off people need to start actually using them. Nothing new here, everybody knows this.

Part of what I do IRL is design shopping carts. I have good, stable, free hosting and a stock of good domain names to use. So, I'm designing a new site that will only accept BTC for payment.

What would you want to see in the store?

Would it help the bitcoin economy more to be offering less expensive or higher cost items? I'm thinking that cheaper items would generate more 'flow' in the currency, but maybe I'm wrong?

33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: August 08, 2011, 03:43:17 PM
Another lurker looking to get whitelisted. I'm looking to purchase BTC outside the exchanges and looking to get feedback about my soon-to-be-launched btc-only store.
