22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a "cryptographic vulnerability or weakness in the Bitcoin protocol"? on: October 09, 2023, 11:35:46 AM
BTW BITCOIN up time is 99.988576912 7 % and 100% since 2014 ----> https://bitcoinuptime.org/

I like the site you shared.

Numerous vulnerabilities may exist, some of which remain undisclosed. Instead of immediately revealing these vulnerabilities to the public, responsible researchers choose to confidentially report their discoveries to the Bitcoin Core development team. This approach is taken to prevent malicious individuals from taking advantage of the vulnerability before a solution can be implemented.
23  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: October 09, 2023, 11:22:45 AM
When I first visited the Coingame Casino, I was perplexed as to why all information on the website was written in Hindi. Therefore, I suggest that the language section of the platform be kept in English and that the language options be highlighted so that any users who visit the platform will be able to quickly view and modify the language accordingly. As I am more accustomed to reading English than Hindi, when I first visited the casino, I decided not to open an account. However, when I opened the site, I noticed that Google translate had a language changing option. Therefore, I recommend that the language section be kept in English so that any new users who are visiting the platform for the first time can quickly view it and adjust the language accordingly.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 09, 2023, 10:56:59 AM
I have created a pdf of this rule for me which I am sharing with you. I hope you find it useful.

  • Maintain a sensible approach. Avoid chasing excessive profits that could lead to a complete loss.
  • Remember that not losing is often more advantageous than risking it all.
  • When luck isn't on your side, consider an immediate pause to prevent further losses.
  • It's crucial to recognize that consistent daily profits are unlikely. Don't jeopardize your entire balance just to chase them.
  • Understand that all games involve an element of randomness, making it wise to cease betting after securing a win within a range of acceptable losses.
  • Don't push your luck beyond the maximum acceptable losing streak. Waiting too long often results in significant losses.
  • For instance, if you're playing a game with a 3x payout, the safe losing streak might be 18, and the maximum losing streak might be 24. If you experience a losing streak exceeding the safe limit, followed by a win, consider stopping your bets.
  • Be aware that extended losing streaks tend to get worse, and it's challenging to predict when they'll surpass the maximum threshold.
  • Avoid waiting for a substantial payoff after a prolonged losing streak. Cut your losses before they deplete your bankroll. It's likely that bets close to a quarter of your balance will lead to losses most of the time.
Adjust your bet sizes to ensure that one or two wins can recover more than your previous losses. Avoid excessive greed.
  • Recognize that the house often aims to lure you away from your strategy, leading you into their designed plan to deplete your funds quickly.

Act promptly if your emotions start influencing your decisions. Both excessive fear and greed pose significant risks.

26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a Standing Desk the Right Choice for Traders? on: October 09, 2023, 10:21:23 AM
I find that standing makes me more mentally alert and allows me to make decisions faster, whereas sitting makes me feel slower.
However, I usually limit myself to one or two trades, because too many trades can cause my mind to make bad decisions, which leads to more losses.

That's an interesting perspective! It's great to hear that standing helps boost your mental alertness for faster decision-making. It's crucial to find what works best for your trading style. Do you also use a standing desk for your daily work outside of trading? I'm curious to know if you've experienced similar benefits in other aspects of your work routine.

no it's specially for trading and other desk works, And i was talking about good trading decisions, you might have misunderstood about it.

Unless or until sig campaigns go away, it's going to stay like this.

When signature are gone then I am sure that forum's traffic will fall down by 80%. But signatures are also good for people who contribute here who have more knowledge about bitcoin then their money invested in bitcoin.

31  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Questionnaire to help me start mining on: October 09, 2023, 09:59:57 AM
2. Are you solo mining or mining using a pool?
I mine on a pool because it allows me to combine my computing power with others, increasing the chances of earning a steady stream of rewards rather than relying solely on the luck and processing power of solo mining. Pool mining provides a more predictable and consistent income, making it a practical choice for many miners.

33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DCA, the most convenient way to increase your bitcoin as a newbie. on: October 09, 2023, 09:50:40 AM
I want to list some more advantages of Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA):

Emotional Stability: DCA reduces stress by removing the need to time the market or react emotionally to price fluctuations.

Discipline: It enforces a consistent investment plan, preventing impulsive decisions.

Risk Mitigation: Spreading investments over time reduces the risk of poor timing.

Cost Averaging: You buy more when prices are low and less when prices are high, resulting in a lower average purchase price.

Automatic: DCA can be automated, making it convenient and hassle-free.

Long-Term Focus
: Encourages a long-term investment perspective.

Diversification: Can be used alongside other strategies for a diversified portfolio.

Risk Management: Allows control over the amount invested, managing risk.

Steady Accumulation: Provides a consistent way to accumulate assets over time.

Flexibility
: Adaptable to various financial situations and goals.

Avoids FOMO and Panic: Reduces fear of missing out and panic selling.

Consistent Behavior: Instills consistent investment behavior, reducing emotional reactions to market volatility.

37  Other / Meta / bitcoin discussion board have lot of unecessary questions on: October 09, 2023, 09:15:54 AM
bitcoin discussion board have lot of unnecessary questions which is mostly not helpful to increase knowledge or learn something new.
most of them start thread about "my first bitcoin purchase" i convinced my dad to invest in bitcoin, "bitcoin is life", etc. which is mostly a waste of time for good posters.
most users post low quality replies to get post count for signature campaign, and the other users start threads like these because many members award them merits, show my request is stop replying to them if it's not an important discussion.
38  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Fetching Bitcoin Price on: October 09, 2023, 09:08:20 AM

39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What is a "cryptographic vulnerability or weakness in the Bitcoin protocol"? on: October 09, 2023, 09:02:53 AM
Were there any cryptographic vulnerabilities or weaknesses in the Bitcoin protocol at any time during its development or subsequent updates?

How were these vulnerabilities addressed or mitigated in a way that ensures the long-term safety and security of the network?

Were there any lesser known, non-public security issues that were successfully resolved?
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: October 07, 2023, 04:44:07 PM
In my opinion, I think referral bonuses are typically waste of one's time because of its processes that seems so impossible to claim and recently I came across a thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5437603.0 seeking for Casinos with paid referral bonuses and I tool out time to read most of the responses there and they all seem impossible to claim referral bonuses.
I wish to know if anyone has successfully claimed referral bonuses and how easy was the process and what Casino did you claim those bonuses
As long as you have a lot of referrals that are quite active, then you will not waste your time because, as far as I know, whatever the platform is, if we follow the referral event and are sufficiently active, then it can be used as our income, and it should also not be hard to make a claim if we are following the program properly. Right, do you have any referrals who are already playing the game?

you are right once i there was 50 referral when i promoted my referral link but 1 or 2 of them a active and 1 was high roller, from which is giving me monthly earning of around $300
