21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: February 19, 2024, 01:39:21 PM
Maybe you know already: we have good coin and we have bad coin. While Bitcoin is very good coin, TRON is bad coin and here is why:

- TRON didn't achieve any additional technological advance compared to existing coin
- TRON is only launched because Justin Sun hates Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum
- Justin Sun failed to compete against Ethereum. Ethereum is much better, has much better technology and better developers
- Justin Sun just SHILLS his shitcoin TRON instead of implementing a better technology

Everyone should know, how fraudulent TRON really is.
Avoid bad coin like TRON.

Yes i also agree with your option i bought some of them like 5 years ago and it only went down since the owner is Justin Sun there is no such trust on him
probably a next scam like LUNA  that went to 0$
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Advice ‼️ on: February 19, 2024, 01:17:01 PM
Hey everyone! I've got $1000 to invest before the next bull market kicks in. Should I spread it across five different coins or go all in on just one? What are your top picks for either strategy?

Buy low coins like 0.00002$ and when they hit 0.01$ you make that good money
Dont think that with 1k$ you can make a lot if u buy high price coins like BTC ETH
Focus on Low priced and u will be on profit on long term too
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick profit is the only reason why we invest in Altcoins on: February 19, 2024, 01:15:03 PM
Investing in Altcoins had been what so many invested have been looking at these period. Believing that bitcoin's bull run will surely influence the price of the altcoins and hive them massive gains. Literally if bitcoin rises altcoins follow suit but this is the only reason i see that makes potential investors to invest in Bitcoin. There is no other interest as they feel its unsafe to store value or wealth, cant be used for p2p transactions and it cant be trusted to hodl for long. If you think there is any other reasons that makes investors put their money in altcoins feel free to share. I would love to know.

Its just not the quick profit as long term on good projects will make much more profit
24  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust your old wallet of when u had no Crypto knowledge on: February 19, 2024, 12:34:01 PM
To the rest of us in the forum, I am to let you know that if you have created a crytop wallets before probably during your ignorant eras such as when you never had the security knowledges of Bitcoin and your wallet, which you may have in anyway exposed your private and security phrases to others due to your previous lack of crypto and wallets understanding, you are advised to dump the wallet and creat a new wallet with a newly generated private and security phrases which you can now keep carefully and privately to your best of safe mode.
I brought this up here because lot of individuals has long time ago installed the crytop wallets to their devices even before they are embracing the crypto sphere, they had then loose guarded their private phrases but due to the fact they could remember the wallets passwords and have access to the wallet, they feels so safe in using the same wallet at once they have embraced the crypto industry.
Having your wallets passwords in gaining access to your wallet is the ultimate of ownership of your wallet but your Private keys phrases matters because you one can who is knowledgeable about those private phrases has the access command to retrieve your wallet to themselves anytime any day.
So, be concious about your wallets privacies.
Meanwhile some persons may have been putting you through the thoughts about Bitcoin whom may have helped you in creating a crytop wallets during a learning era about the coins which probably they may have got access to your private phrases without your knowledge then. My advice at a case like this is that at your readiness of Investing your funds in the crytop, do not use the wallet, you are free of charge to create a new wallet with a generated private phrase keys which can personally be to yourself all alone but depending on how careful you could be about your privacies.

this has happen to me too , i was using blockchain wallet more than years never had any issue till one day someone withdraw all my money
I get rid of it  long time ago
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Preventive measures not to lose your btc on: February 19, 2024, 12:30:20 PM
Just hodl
Avoid ads
Avoid fake wallets
Avoid fake exchanges
Avoid airdrops, or at least learn how to know the fake ones. I avoided airdrops.
Avoid phishing or attacks, through email, message or call.
Anywhere you see pay 2 to get 4, it is a scam
Use cold storage for huge amount
I prefer to use passphrase, against offline attacks
Avoid clipboard malware and malware generally
Avoid sending to attacker's address in address poisoning

These last ones are shocking:
Avoid trading. Use the amount of money that you can afford to lose for trading.
Also the same to gambling.

I do really agree with you best of all never spent your bitcoins as Satoshi Nakamoto will punish you for spending them  lol
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the benefit of taking hard drugs on: February 19, 2024, 01:30:07 AM
I was going through some articles and comments on twitter and this question struck me so I decided to bring it up here .
There are some drugs that are quite medicinal and has serious effects on human beings especially when misused or abused . But the idea of people taking high level of hard drugs is what I can’t place my thought on because it makes feel that everything is not normal on them .

However, people go to grave yards to exhume the bones of dead bodies just to collect their bones grind it and smoke it , some will also go to the length of breaking sucker pit just to inhale the substances there for a reason I don’t know . So please I now ask again, is there any benefit of taking hard drugs ?

Does it worth it ?  no there is no benefit at all and never try it
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much knowledge is enough to satisfy an individual on: February 19, 2024, 01:25:58 AM
As long as we are alive, true satisfaction will never be fulfilled and u can never satisfy an ignorance person
whats the value to satisfy others
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the rules for finding wallets on: February 19, 2024, 01:02:53 AM
Like the title says what are the rules. If I miraculously got a private key to a wallet that had Bitcoin in it but was not mine originally then does that mean I now own the wallet like finders keepers and is there any legality issues with this in the usa,uk,canada, south america. Is this more of a morality should you or should you not.

when u find any make sure to check on all
Derivation Path
BIP32
BIP44
BIP49
BIP84
BIP141

As you may find one that have bitcoins but u might be on wrong Path

31  Other / Beginners & Help / How to Create my own 12 Seed ? on: February 19, 2024, 12:03:31 AM
Maybe this can be helpful for other people too

so im following this Tutorial
1. Visit Ian Coleman's BIP39 tool website: https://iancoleman.io/bip39/
2. Disconnect your device from the internet for added security.
3. Scroll down to the "Generate" section on the BIP39 tool page.
4. Select the number of words you want in your seed phrase (in this case, 12 words).
5. Click on the "Generate" button to create a new random 12-word seed phrase.
6. Write down the 12 words in the exact order they are displayed. This is your seed phrase that can be used to recover your Bitcoin wallet.
7. Store the seed phrase securely in multiple locations, such as a physical paper backup or encrypted digital storage.

But when it comes to choosing the Derivation Path
BIP32
BIP44
BIP49
BIP84
BIP141

Which one should i choose , and will my bitcoin be secure ?
(ofc not sharing my seed with no one )
32  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What price will Bitcoin miners be after Halving!? on: February 18, 2024, 11:42:52 PM
Sooooooo im thinking of buying myself a good ASIC miner or any Bitcoin miners at around 3-5k USD and ive been searching for a while now but my i just had a recent thought of the prices. Im aware of the halving coming in the next 100 days or so. But generally speaking since the Block Reward will be cut in half to 3.125 BTC, wouldn't it affect the price of the Bitcoin miners in general?

Im speculating either that, the price will go higher since China was making a slow comeback into the mining scene impacting the price and that the community of Bitcoin will most likely attract a lot of interest in the mining scene as the value and the ear to ear talks of Bitcoin spreads around more and more around geeks and people.

But im also wondering wouldn't the price drop and it would be a good time to buy those miners then? Since the Block reward isn't the same it would require people to get better miners to mine the same amount they use to before? Or just the fact that in general every halving we tend to have new miners made for to stay efficient as the miner diffuclty keeps rising up?

Let me know what you guys think i sincerely am looking forward to buy myself a miner just don't know when is the time!  Smiley

Dont want for the perfect time as that does not exist
Its one Day or Day 1

35  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blochain wallet ISSUE ! on: January 30, 2024, 01:36:45 PM
i followed ur steps and installed the Electrum desktop then i used the Standard wallet which then selected BIP39 seed phrase
I had to wait like 1 hour to scan all my transaction from back 2018 till now
Electrum is a SPV wallet and it does not need 1 hour to sync the wallet and scan your transaction history. With good Internet connection, it can finish after a few seconds.

1 hour is only if you have very poor Internet connection that connect and disconnect repeatedly and you barely have your wallet connect to Internet and Electrum servers.

If you see a green icon at the bottom left, it connects to Electrum servers and I am quite sure you will see your transaction history and balance within several seconds.

i have done it into a RDP and as this wallet has a lot of transaction since its old I must waited around 1h to synchronize all my transaction before showing the balance on bottom left with M-BTC
36  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blochain wallet ISSUE ! on: January 29, 2024, 10:56:40 PM
Import the seed phrase on Electrum.

To import the seed phrase on desktop Electrum: name your wallet or go for default wallet name and then click on next and follow this:

Standard wallet -> I already have a seed. Enter your seed phrase and click on options -> select BIP39 seed phrase and click on next. Select from these derivative paths:

Legacy for addresses that starts from 1
Native segwit for addresses that starts from bc1

Click on next. Input your password that you want for the wallet and you are done.

On mobile Electrum. After you input your seed phrase, you will not see 'options' at the right lower side where you input the seed phrase, but you will see 'Electrum' at the upper right corner. Click on it and select BIP39 to proceed.

Note that Blockchain.com wallet is a close source wallet and it would be better to generate new seed phrase on open source wallet directly. Electrum wallet is an open source wallet.

Thank you very very much for the great and clear help u gave me
i followed ur steps and installed the Electrum desktop then i used the Standard wallet which then selected BIP39 seed phrase
I had to wait like 1 hour to scan all my transaction from back 2018 till now
And Finally i can see my whole balance of bitcoins (which i transferred to a cold wallet )
On Blockchain app it still dont show up the Transaction on History and even not showing up the money (its been more than 48 hours )
Long story short,  Thank you very much would like to send you a small Tip on BTC for the time and great explanation
37  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blochain wallet ISSUE ! on: January 29, 2024, 01:59:59 AM
But today i do have a issue with BLOCKCHAIN wallet
1. i copy the address  and send 0.022 BTC from an exodus wallet
2. Transaction has more than 20 Confrimation
3. The BTC isnt showing up on Blockchain wallet at all , it used to show up instant even when 1 confrimation
Did you try to check the address balance with Bitcoin block explorers?

20 confirmations so that address should have a balance with that transaction value plus what you have in it before that transaction from Exodus wallet.
If balance is shown on block explorers, you don't have to worry because issue is from Blockchain.com wallet.

A similar guide like Charles-Tim.

How can I migrate from blockchain wallet to Electrum?
Importing your private keys, seeds into Electrum.

Choose BIP39 after enter your wallet seed.

You should verify your Electrum wallet too.
[Guide] How to Safely Download and Verify Electrum.

yes i have copy the address put on explorer i can see that bitcoins are on that address i have typed
but on Blockchain wallet dont show up at all

isn't it more easy if copy my 12 words of the wallet and put it on a Trust wallet ? rather than dealing with electrum thorugh phone !
38  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blochain wallet ISSUE ! on: January 29, 2024, 12:04:13 AM

40  Economy / Web Wallets / Blochain wallet ISSUE ! on: January 28, 2024, 11:38:31 PM
