21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lunatic gamblers who says Airdrop rewards are free funds. on: May 23, 2024, 02:50:02 PM
There is absolutely no Source of income that is free but some of my Bitcoin investors friends who are as much gamblers would not want to agree to that.
Currently, there had been several airdrops projects ongoing which participants are earning crypto coins without investing of money but executing some tasks.

So some of my friends says such funds are free money so they are delighted dedicating it to be spent on gambling and when they lost it all, it would be easier to let go because they did not stress to get the money.
Meanwhile... This usually comes a huge amount of money beyond their normal gambling budgets.

To me, they can utilize these so called free money by adding it up to their Bitcoin portfolio or even used it to spend on necessary things instead of dedicating to lavish it on gambling.

Have you also considered that these guys can also win big money from the gambling that they are using their airdrop money to invest on?
Hellooo... The last time I can remember, gambling is not recommendable for source of income and so, it doesn't look financially healthy to say they are Investing on gambling. That is ridiculous and misinterpreting about what gambling is about.
There could be a lucky day to be rewarded when one wins in gambling but can vividly say it is a source of income.

Come on gambling can't be associated to losing all the time.
Wrong again, gambling is a game of luck and when your luck never comes then you can loose all the time. There is no just compassion for a gambling casino to give you a winning privilege just because you have loosed a lote. So bet wisely because you can not determine the future of your game.

I believe those your friends are adults and they know what is good and bad, if so I believe that they will be fine, sometimes the problem we have in life is that we expect people to behave or think like us, and when we don't see that happening we become judgmental.
Hey dude, if you know what friends are meant for, you will not argue with me if I say friends are group of persons who cares and watches each others back and not limited to point out errors when anyone goes wrong. I am definitely not referring to the mile of discriminations and judgemental as you may say.

We should just allow people make their own choices and live with the resulting consequences, be it good or bad. I have seen someone win big amount of money in gambling on football, when the game bet was won, almost everybody around blamed the guy for not sharing the game with them at the initial stage, but this was someone that almost every body was despising because he always gamble. For me since they are adults let them have it their own way.
Obviously while being so greedy in chasing profits and loosing our morales is actually what nurtures irresponsible and addicted gambling.
I don't dispute that there is no big winning in gambling but believe it or not, there is more risks on big winning and so you don't assume because there are chances for big winnings and just keep up chasing those winnings. You may just end up running bankrupt and ruining your life.
22  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tradding Vs Saving, which is the safest way to build crypto holdings on: May 23, 2024, 08:27:09 AM
Anyone in crypto space right now and who has been active will agree with me that one of the vital parts of what makes cryptocurrency trend and go viral is the fact that it volatile and this has made the whole blockchain interesting, I mean the fact that one can easily turn some penny into a huge amount of money within a short timeframe makes it attract people from  all over the world aside from sending value.
Yes, the volatility of bitcoin development is its uniqueness not just from the fiats but also as the stock values. It has really gained massive dominant all over the world because>>>
* It is unified currency in a digital form.
* It is a volatile currency.
* It is potential to legal tenders for payments alternative.
* It is a self custodian currency.
* It serves potentials of earning incomes.

But I would quote you wrong Op that it is not a get rich quick as you may say (Short timeframe) unless you are ready to gamble with your funds.
While I do not have to live you astray with this, I recommend bitcoin investment safer for you especially the beginners who has always been victims of the shitcoins.

While the volatile nature of crypto space remains attractive and lucrative, it still remains the nightmare to many and hence the need to always ensure safety from the what makes crypto tradable. In the bid to achieve the purpose of trying to grow one's asset without having to expose it to volatility risk, several risk control measures have been set up which include stop loss, but that is not 100% sure to guard users from the price fluctuations, and hence the need of savings and getting returns high amounts of APR and this mimics the bank savings with, but here with higher rewards, if a person saves $1m, he could end the year with a good sum by just holding his asset, while a trader could turn little amount to huge one, it could go at that same rate too, so which one would you prefer as a trader and why
Better investing with a minimum amount you can afford to loose and not about having all your life time savings to invest on the Crypto currencies. Meanwhile, investing and holding with a set of goal while expecting a market rise before selling is usually safer than trading.
Traders actually counts more lost and can as much stand the chances to gain because they do not t resist market price of when to sell and when to buy as inventors may always consider the market price.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful, FoxIt PDF Reader flaw being exploited by Hackers targeting cryptos on: May 23, 2024, 06:10:01 AM
The practical tools used by this crafty scammers to execute all those illegal and malicious programs on readable files and operating system is just one thing I don't understand the possibility on how they gain accesses.

You can imagine opening a usual file and then at some times some flash messages just like that one OP has updated will pop up and ask you to click or download before proceeding or to view some added features, some will even say your files would be at risk if you don't complete those tasks.

Therein, if you follow the malicious directives, you will be ask to download an app to proceed, sometimes we are unaware about the phishing programs and after downloading it you will be redirected to download another and the more you are taking their directions is gradually they are gaining access to your files or operating privacies.

What baffles me then is that those malicious apps are being licenced on the Google Play Store where most users believes whatever app on the system is legit and approved to be used.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Teofimo Lopez vs Steve Claggett WBO Super Lightweight Title - June 29 on: May 22, 2024, 07:17:36 PM
Yeah Lopez has been a great fighter doing well at some times and despites his odds I don't still find him a weak.
I still can not believe he has been absent from the ring all these while basically going for parties and crossing his legs watching TV at home. Lol.
Let us just assume he has been out there cooking some stuffs to rebounce back on stage.

But hey OP, I hope you don't mean to say it was going to be a stage or fixed fight for saying the match is to make Lopez look good since he has not made it in couple of his matches now? Otherwise... While Steve has also been active in the ring all these while, he may have also gathered some skills to defeat Lopez but let us watch out. It is a game that one must win and other looses.
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My model of an ideal investment portfolio on: May 22, 2024, 10:30:21 AM
Building a good investment portfolio is one key area I've come to learn of its importance and in building a good portfolio, the decision to diversify your investment option into different sectors is Always key and from what I've read both on the forum and off the forum, it seems the concept of diversification of your portfolio tend to tilt more to investing into Bitcoin and altcoin which somehow appears a bit one sided as i feel that building a good and ideal portfolio should cover not just the digital sectors but should necessarily touch other aspect of our lives.

Without the mean to argue with you, I am subjected to say we learn from one source based on how we individual understands the fact.
I love to learn new ideals but I choose what criterials to adopt basically ones that my conscience would not have regrets about so, on the table of learning about diversification of source of income after invested on Bitcoin, I do not see need of investing on the Alt coins instead I would buy to accumulate more to my Bitcoin holding which is already promising and reputable in the digital market hence Alt coins are not reputable and reliable like bitcoin does.

So I would take the diversifying of my investment to either real estate or commericial trading where I can get ride of volatilities but only fears economy inflations but least I can get quick source of incomes out of it to tackle my financial needs another to give my Bitcoin assets the chances to grow with a long term goal.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be aware that the government and the haters envies your progress on BTC on: May 22, 2024, 09:12:59 AM
The government doesn't envy you because you own Bitcoin. In fact, you will be a great contributor to the economy if ever your progress as an investor will be a success. They just don't like the features that it has got and they are still in that taboo about it being used by criminals. It's been so long since that reason has been the one taught to the regulators and the government itself. One thing that you have said about is the real deal on this current state of the market and it's about being careful about scams, they're not limited to memecoins but almost every project that comes out nowadays and also the platforms that offers investments. That's what the people should be careful with.
Exactly, that is just the point. Maybe the OP just have to keep that thought off that the government is being envious about his holding on Bitcoin as an instrumental source of income.
Investors interests of earning in Bitcoin is not the problem of the government but about the model that they can not hold upon any entity responsible as the case maybe that the technology paves ways for criminals and some agencies to launder money through the system.

And it seems worried that a functioning government can not get ride to those criminal folks since the crypto currencies are decentralized and non-custodial.
So I think the government prioritizes their concern of this crypto world to the interests of the Crypto enthusiasts.

The Meme coins as well could be a point by which scammers can execute their targets which the OP can partially be right about it but definitely not of envies.

28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What need to follow to play the stress free gambling game on: May 21, 2024, 03:12:54 PM
That was good outlines to stay responsible with your gambling from an onset as a beginner so that you don't get lost out control while you are getting addicted to it  unknowingly.
So it is better as beginner in gambling to be aware that you can loose it all on betting while desperately chasing the profits and  also do be aware that it is always unpredictable to tell when you can actually win.

And being on a safer side You must draft a gambling budget based on your income rate so that it does not affect your plans of achieving a goal.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The death of Iran president and seven others on: May 21, 2024, 12:39:48 PM
Who's updated with the news that President Ebrahim Raisi and seven other people were killed in an aircraft?

Do we describe this occurance to be an homicide or fatal aviation accident?
I'm just thinking maybe sometimes we should just look away from how media may twist informations because they're usually not sincere in revealing the reality to the public.

As described on the news channel. It’s due to the bad weather which is convincing since multiple high officials casualties involved while other chopper land safely. Normally, all chopper will be brought down to remove potential evidence for the assassination yet the survivors never mention any hostility against them aside from bad weather.

This is crucial since they a recent tension against Israel while the president still have the say for nuclear progress.

Although you are right but it has came to my knowledge that helicopter doesn't just crashed like that even if the whether is bad but can only be crash by assassin's, that is either they have make a deal with the pilot or they plant a bomb in it, which might lead to the crashing because it can't just crashed without the notice of the pilot and then they will inform everyone to take hold of the parachute for someone to just survive.
Well it's only God that knows what really happened and what might prompt the the plan to crashed, because he can see beyond our sight, let's just pray for their souls to rest in peace.
The saga blowing within the locality of Iran and those who are instigators to inflame chaos would always want to have the accident pointed on Israel due to the current crisis going on among the two countries.

It was confirmed that the helicopter was not intercepted in the air neither was there a match to say there was a launched attack on the helicopter during when it landed. https://l.kphx.net/s?d=4969006625157214672&extra=&g=56f2378cb897d447e33ad09744d806d3

So it is odd to say that there is a body responsible for the crash of the helicopter since it has not be verified and proven.
So I think it would be more healthier for the good of everyone to say it is either mechanical fault or the described weather conditions was the cause in the main time.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A debate between I and a friend who is real a time trader(Physical Trader) on: May 21, 2024, 08:31:31 AM
I have read all of your replies on this thread, and while I do not expect any of you to dance to my tunes, so I would take it all to be your opinions as per view on how you understood the context between me and a friends discussion.

Any, like I said, it was a discussion of fun and was not so serious that we had to convince one another in defendant that either me or him has the best enterprise of generating incomes.

The discussion coincidentally came up without the intention of one gaining a rewards just after we were both concerned about our welfares and source of incomes because it has been a very long time we met facially.
It was just a friendly discussion which turned out to be "Tell me what you are into all these while".

Foremost let it be known that success can come out of meeting new opportunities so I don't even see it bad trying to defend Bitcoin just as him also defending his real time trading firms. I can pick interest to diversify my source of income to him and so likely he can as well pick interest to diversify his source of income to Bitcoin. Something must always have to linger for a different dimension to occur in life.

I will keep ris thread update as time goes if I will finally diversify my income to his or he is coming to invest on Bitcoin.
So I do not welcome those he misquotes the concept that the discussion was for me to convince him to invest on Bitcoin.
However, it was a nice argument with lot tips of fun out of the moment.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 21, 2024, 07:05:59 AM
All by myself, I am not too conversation to gambling on boxing. It is likely like the WWE were obviously it seems scripted such a fix match programs, although UFC has seemed far away to be compared with it because there are lot of more serious individuals who do not believe on those meme entertainment but much more concerned and Interested on the sport games.

One thing is sure that every sectors of gaming or sport activities is being corrupted including the football games most of us a reliable on for bets.
You can imagine how matches are fixed and the football coordinators would never let the public know about it.
I guess that is also a view of corruption because it is a clear view that the fix matches are trade by barter where is targeted to benefit the two teams while the Interests of the fans are not considered.
And I guess when you bet on a potential winning team on such fix match you should be expecting a reverse that the unexpected team will take the lead.

While I do not mean to discourage anyone gambler of discriminating where they are conversant and reliable on betting, let me remind us that with all being said, gambling remains a game of luck.
32  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Life of Bitcoin Enthusiast on: May 21, 2024, 05:40:56 AM
Admitting that you have talked so well, I would contribute to say that it takes purpose of goals and determinations for Crypto investors to holding to their assets because the cause to sell your assets for necessary reasons would always arise although it mostly tempts those Investors who are not engaged with alternative source of income to solve their needs while their assets is delegated to execute a goal in a specific period of time.

But it is unfortunate that setting up your goal with the rewards of your crypto investment can be inevitable because the crypto markets is volatile which the specific time you programed to execute your target with your Crypto income may not be as expected so, long time holding has also been the best to reach the goal.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fixed matches group in 3rd world countries on: May 20, 2024, 10:28:34 PM
I have only come across similar terms like this but not on the line that the entity would fund you to do the bets.
I am only experienced on the side that an entity in the social media who claims to have a sure bet demanding an agreement that if you will be giving the game to play, you will give them their percentage after winning.
Sometimes they would ask you to stake the game with a particular amount so that the winning value can be higher because the strategy is the higher the winning value is the higher the percentage the gets in return.

But one thing is sure that they are pure scammers because they only authorizes winning post to be displayed to the public view just to attract more more.
Meanwhile... Each participants is inboxed privately with different predictions strategically to avoid public disrupts arguing about their partialities.
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the OTP on login time ? on: May 20, 2024, 08:01:58 PM
This OPs thread might seem common but believe it that it is very crucial.
Many Investors have lost their funds this way due to the fact that they do not know the importance of OTP activations so they would just toy with it without having it on a private custody.

I have heard from Investors that scammers got reached to decode the contact such as email or phone which was used to activate their wallets and other sensitive privacy accounts, so on the process of the scammers intending to log in the wallet account,  a private key process to input the OTP would be required so the scammers would call the wallet holder to forward them the code that was sent to them.

Their trickish excuses are usually as follows>>>
* They claims that they mistakenly used the victims contact to process their account and would plead if you can send them the OTP code sent to you.

* They pretends to be officials in charge of your account services so you should send them the OTP that was sent to you to process your wallet account either for upgrading so that you can enjoy some additional features.

* Also trying to attract the investors emotions in pretending that the victim has rewarded with some price and demands for the OTP to process the claim of your reward

Most especially beginners who are not knowledgeable, lack guidance or even being ignorantic are usually to fall such victims.

So OP, OTP means 2-Factors-Aurhorization which is used verify your accounts loggins to authentic the loggin in attempt is coming from a reliable or verified source.
It could also serve as alternative to logging your account if  where password is not provided.
So, be careful with your Wallet and keep your contract used to process your account secured to yourself.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest fight of the year: Terry Crews vs Anderson Silva this June 15 on: May 20, 2024, 04:32:06 PM
I do not know either of them but if I may be clear a bit, is it that the Terry is not a boxer but only acts on the scripted movies of entertainments?
If YES, I wish him Terry well to win and prove all that hyped fitness of him being showcased in the movies are real.

It would really be so much interesting show and hope not to miss out.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial fact that the authorities would not want you to know. on: May 20, 2024, 12:43:43 PM
Buddy try taking things that concern, your family, government, and other things to your local board and not a general discussion panel. You have done this several times. It's either a story of your deceased, poverty in your country, or many others.

I believe this is a discussion that the members of your LB need to discuss and find a way to harness the situation if possible. When it comes to general economical discussion we can easily relate.
If you read clearly to a better understanding, you will understand that I never seek for solution pertaining my local economy system from the international bodies in this thread.

I can bet you that I am already contented with the replies of everyone here because my intention was basically to know if other countries encounters such rebellions from their governments and the banks. Maybe I should remind you on a quote.
I don't know how transparent and genuine other countries governments and their financial regulatory authorities has been with their citizens and the masses entirely

However, taking a local issues to the general board is not prohibited because there is a compass to possibly pick soluable opinions from both sides after garnering around.

If I may ask, how comfortable do you feel that your comfort zone can always offer you the best if you get to lean around your hood? Anyways... I agree with you that there are certain cases a local issue should be directed to the local board but not this one.
37  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: 10 Reasons Why Some People Will Never Succeed. on: May 20, 2024, 10:49:36 AM
One will never succeed when >>>
* You keep your hope on a man
* When you don't have a goal and no vision but just keep running.
* Reluctant and inability to put your best towards your aim
* The fear/inability of trying/starting again after failure encounter (s).

“two amongst a thousand wise men, will define success in the same words, yet failure is always described in one way. Failure is man’s inability to reach his goals in life whatever they may be.”
I agree with you that it is an inability to reach a goal but  on a context, let it not be misconcepted to say it is when a man is reluctant or incapable energy to reach that goal.
One can actually work smarter and harder and still fails if where you are chasing that goal is not a calling to favour you.

While success is relative, subjective, holds monetary and non- monetary value, failure is more a “one size fits all” recipe. Below are ten things people do to fail on purpose.
On a short description, success is a point of opportunity to had reached a desired goal.
It could involve smartness and hardworking to be accounted or a graceful of favourable connections.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 20, 2024, 09:42:25 AM
It is a normal thing as I can say. Personally when I consider that my picks has not been favourable for some periods of time, I will always dare to pick the opposite sides which my instincts would have most doubts that it can never be the winning ones.

Though in such switching modes, I will always minimize the amount of my stakes because my confidence never lyes there. The honest fact from my side of experience is that it does not make differences to say it has been a winning trick for me. It still lyes on the game of luck.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A debate between I and a friend who is real a time trader(Physical Trader) on: May 20, 2024, 06:18:03 AM
It was fun between I and a friend that we have not met for long now but has though keep active on communications.
So this friend is actually a trader who deals on physical commodities and I am proudly a bitcoin Investor.
So while we finally met today having some good times, Oh damn!!! It was fun when it was likely that we turned it up to a debate of defending our source of income.

It goes this way:

Him: Real time trading as it maybe popularly be known as physical trading has varieties sectors by which traders can engage on and make profits on diversifications of expanding source of incomes, it exposes traders to be familiar with lot of jurisdictions that may create quick highly profits in a very short term.
At some certain level, you can determine the future outcome of the market which traders can be possible to be avoided but though it does not mean we the real time treaders doesn't account looses.

Me: Bitcoin is a digital assets which could give Investors the flexibility allowances how by, you do not need those interpersonal marketing strategies before you can stand a chance to make profit like the physical traders.
Bitcoin has the potentialities to be beneficial for long term goals and investors can always set up their investment goals and as much diversify their investment portfolios characterizing of achieving a goal.
It doesn't require all that muscular energies such as the walkabouts and the stresses on mental strategies of drafting curve ways due to hedges potentials of economy downtimes which can as well be characterized on age fitness or age restrictions which apparently investing on Bitcoin is not based on all that.
Most interesting advantage of bitcoin over the real time treaders is that it posses the capacity to mitigate its Investors from global economy inflations and suppress the volatility of the fiats when the economy condition goes south.

His summary: Economy condition affects realtime traders as inflations but though traders can as much take advantage over the economy condition and deliberates on personally increasing the value of their goods.

Mine: Bitcoin encounters volatility as market condition but it's not worth panicking because the facilitations movement of bitcoin values requires the volatile potentials to drive the transformations of the downtimes to the uptimes.

I literally asked him what he think about being a full custodian to his source of income and what he think about his assets privacies?
He took a deep breath and say he would have love it better if the real time traders could take self custodial of their trading firms. He also said that the government would always keep eyes on the commerical sectors conditioning the treaders. I smiled when he said the government's regulations in some points makes it difficult for them with their sentiments of running a monopoly economy system.
It was like I have heard too much of his crying out loud over the governments policies.
Then I told be him that bitcoin is out of that era where the government make those authoritative policies for selfish interests. So, bitcoin as a non custodial digital investment network has its investors and everyone else associated with bitcoin the privileges to keep privacies with their portfolios and takes absolutely self control of their assets to trade and transacts on a non custodial person to person (P2P) without those government regulations such as the exercises  with the fiats transaction.

So dear fellas, defend your Bitcoin investment if you were me!
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Memecoin Gambling verses Normal Gambling - which is more profitable? on: May 19, 2024, 03:46:24 PM
Memecoins are investment projects but due to the highily volatilities that its Investors can not make an inch of its predicts with the fact that the volatility potentials is most of depreciating, it has been seem as a project that whoever that is engaging on it should bear in mind that the risks involved is equivalent to gamblers staking in the gamble and can not determine the future predictions.

So on a conjunction, investing on the memecoins with the investors goal to make profit has become a game of luck as the gambling would as well be a game of luck.
Perhaps, there had been advices around the cryptocurrencies discussions that Investors tending to invest on the memcoins should invest with is affordable to like one is gambling.
Though that does not literally mean that memcoins are gambling platforms because of you ask me, I would tell you that I gambles but can not afford to have my funds invested or gambling in the memcoins because I can not derive fun out of it.
