21  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Make people no dey conclude for waiting them no know about on: May 27, 2024, 09:07:28 AM
In as much as you are benefiting from Bitcoin, I don't think it really matter what most people say about it. I don't know which part of the country you from because in my own area or side people don't call Bitcoin scam, in fact they just want to hear you say Bitcoin all the time because it's a big name and they know and they don hear how people dey take turn big men and big women by just investing in it. People in my area are always eager to learn about it though most of them don't actually know the risk involve but they believe say them go make am if they go see person wey go put them through, there are so many people out there that are looking for who to put them through on Bitcoin because they know the worth. Op, just like I said earlier I don't know the part of the country you are from I mean, who will still be saying that Bitcoin is a scam in Naija heh, I will say that person is a primitive or dark age person or maybe someone who just probably want to discourage others or someone who has lost money because of his ignorant, in fact even most dark age person won't say Bitcoin is a scam anymore because of how popular it has become.
22  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The increase of altcoins on: May 27, 2024, 08:41:50 AM
Well just like most person have answered so far, I will like to add small thing. First to start with Etherum is not only the rising coin or the only coin that have appreciated in its value, BNB has also been appreciating in its value though the way Etherum come dey skyrocket this period no easy and e go good if person invest on am but the reason why me I no go like invest for Etherum na because of their Gas fee, Etherum charge is too much compare to BNB and Bitcoin and secondly, Etherum transaction sometimes dey
always take time. However, if you go fit bear with these Etherum characteristics or features you fit invest.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: May 25, 2024, 07:42:06 PM
In the year 2010,my best friend introduce me to cryptocurrency and he advice me to invest in bitcoin. I felt bitcoin was another ponzi scheme created by scammers to scam innocent people. Today my friend is a multi Millionaire. If only I had listened to his advice,I would have become a millionaire by now.

Sometimes in life things happen for a reason and I am very sure that this particular one happen for a reason though I may not know the reason but I am sure it is for a reason and again even if you invested back then just like they replied above you wouldn't have waited till now because you would've been so eager to sell it and back then people don't like investment stufffs most especially Bitcoin, they see it as a fraud and they also see it as something that is not legit so somehow you are not to be blamed.
24  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Make you no leave very small Satoshi, for wallet during bear run. on: May 25, 2024, 07:13:47 PM

25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My model of an ideal investment portfolio on: May 25, 2024, 06:42:56 PM
Building a good investment portfolio is one key area I've come to learn of its importance and in building a good portfolio, the decision to diversify your investment option into different sectors is Always key and from what I've read both on the forum and off the forum, it seems the concept of diversification of your portfolio tend to tilt more to investing into Bitcoin and altcoin which somehow appears a bit one sided as i feel that building a good and ideal portfolio should cover not just the digital sectors but should necessarily touch other aspect of our lives.

So I'm led to share how I intend building what I termed "my ideal investment portfolio" and I hope I can get some contributions and criticism if it's necessary to possibly help me make informed decision.

So here's my Ideal investment portfolio
1 To invest in my craft: I believe this should be the most important investment I should make and it involves ensuring that I'm updated in my skillset and that I get the relevant certification that will keep me relevant in my carrier.
2.To Invest in my proposed tech academy for kids  : This has been a long dream that's still lingering due to finance but I'm working and hoping to build a tech academy for kids in my locality since it seems they are interested in it but aren't previledged to have tech firms that's nearby the locality. I intend HODling my Bitcoin for possibly one circle and then use the proceeds to invest into this projects as it's bent on helping the kids and teenagers in my locality to becoming technologically inclined.
3. To Invest in Bitcoin   : I'm cureent DCAing to stack up a good chunk of Bitcoin which will help achieve part of my tech academy project and also serve as part of my diversified investment option.
4: invest in people    : this obviously is one area I can't ignore seeing that I'm a beneficiary of the investment someone made in me that has built me this far. I believe that investing in people can give greater returns than most of the investment option we have here and there and that's what my proposed tech academy for the kids and teenagers hopes to do.
5. To do long term Investment in Bitcoin and real estate   : once my four year investment plan becomes a success, I believe it's best to now focus more on building a Bitcoin stack for the long run that will serve my retirement needs and also venture into real estate which seams to be a good retirement plan outside of the decentralized financial system.

This is my personal plan on how best diversification of my portfolio can work well for me and I'm open to any impute and recommendations regarding this.

Sir @JayJuanGee seems to be too good on this kind of analysis and I would have loved to see his impute here.

This is really amazing I mean you have a great plan there but the thing is fulfilling your plan after you have gotten all it takes to start up the plan because I have seen people with this kind of idea and plan but when they were fortunate to establish what they have been saying for years it was a like a problem and a waste time for them. However, let me hope and believe you won't be like those who said and didn't make it reality when the time came. If you are able to fulfill or establish this your plan, not only the people you have helped will thank you but almost everybody in that locality and they will never forget what you have done for them because you have invested so much on them even more then can imagine and remember a good name is better to be called  someone.

Good luck to your dreams mate.
26  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tradding Vs Saving, which is the safest way to build crypto holdings on: May 25, 2024, 06:20:27 PM
In addition to what everyone have said so far, I think the best or safest way to build crypto is to accumulate Bitcoin and then hold it and remember you can't lose your coin but it may sometimes take long time to skyrocket but I think trading is the fastest way to build your crypto or make money depending on how good you are and it is also very risky because you can make loss at any given time, so the two have there advantage and disadvantage but if you don't want to make loss while building your crypto I think you should go for Bitcoin accumulation but if you want to build your crypto very fast I will suggest you go for trading.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: May 24, 2024, 10:53:11 AM
From the first question you ask if I didn't cash out and the game cut i will be so restless and aggressive even though it wasn't anyone's fault but mine. But the thing is sometimes it is very difficult to do it sometimes it can be seen as greed but not all the time reason because you have something pressing to do with money if it played finished. My second year in school I was unfortunate to pay my fees early till exam was approaching and I had no means so I now played a bet with 100 naira to win 72k and my school fees was 70k and everything was entering and they showed me cash out of 22k and it was remaining 10 minutes for the games to be over and all is playing well, at that point in time I wasn't reasoning the 22k I was looking at the potential winning with the happiness that am going to pay my fees only for me to see that my game i played to win has closed I was so disapointed and frustrated in this case I didn't see it as a greed and if you where in my shoes I am sure you wouldn't have cash out either because I have something pressing to do with the money and then my school has a policy that NO school fee NO exam. But if I don't have any pressing issue and i played with 3k to 20m and I saw cash out of 1.5m bro I will rush and cash out ooo.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 24, 2024, 10:32:04 AM
Because nowadays the younger ones take gambling more seriously then school. Yesterday i got back home early so I decided to step out and go to a betting shop to catch some fun while gambling, I saw two teenagers gambling with their school uniforms on them.

I asked someone besides me why did they allow this boy's to come in with their uniforms and gamble, he said did they put any restrictions that younger ones are not allowed to gamble. I said but it's not normal, I replied him what if this are your kids would you be happy seeing them gambling with their uniforms on them. So what do you guys think about this situation at hand now.

It is very made known to everyone that under 18 is not allowed to gamble but nowadays the way children are growing you can't really tell if they are under age or not and to me the restriction age is very okay but there are some people who is below that age but they can control themselves and gamble responsibly more than some people that are above 18. The way children are growing nowadays I don't think they should still be using this +18 though just like they have reply there are country that don't take it serious like Nigeria. If I may ask those children who entered bet office with their school uniform, are they under age if yes the manager should be hold responsible for anything that happens but if they are above no one should be  hold responsible because they know what is right and wrong.
29  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Life of Bitcoin Enthusiast on: May 23, 2024, 08:06:54 AM
This one na every ambitious person pray to celebrate his sleepless and restless days in time coming. I know say many people dey try but waiting no gree no gree, sometimes they go invest finish waiting for your investment to progress na that time you come dey see problem here  and there, and most of these palava na something to settle with money and e dey worry investment and sometimes no be say you no get any other thing wey dey give you money but at that point in time that particular thing wey dey give you money outside your investment no go  do well at that instant so there won't be any choice than to go an touch your investment and most of this problem no dey ordinary but some people no know.
30  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Undergoing of wider Crypto adoptors in our society. on: May 23, 2024, 07:38:35 AM
That's quite interesting though, but next time you see her try and explain to her the risk in crypto and how she can go about it without being scammed because she's still a newbie can be easily carried out by what she will. just like i said in my previous post scam sometimes is like accident because you may not expect it or see it coming. I don't think it is necessary to be telling people you are into crypto I mean it's pointless unless you are in conversation with someone and maybe stuff like that came up and most people that are into crypto their appearance and the way they do things will tell you.
31  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scam ads on Bitget on: May 23, 2024, 07:16:03 AM
This one na pure daylight scam 6k loss for this kind harsh weather wey people eye dey red for money well in addition to what Obim34 said, I think it's our government that is causing all these nonsense and most of these exchange are /is fully aware of what our government is doing and since the aim of those exchange is to make money they are now using what our government is doing to play with our intelligence . Morever, it is very important for an exchange to maintain their integrity even if they are at advantage to dupe or scam people but failure to abstain from it will result to loss of customers and fame they have before.
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I don't hold BTC for ATH on: May 23, 2024, 06:47:12 AM
I don't hold btc BTC for ATH I just hold it as a wealth and true decentralized blockchian platform,
Nothings happen if btc bull run coming or not, Because I always believe that btc is a digital wealth and public power decentralized system ATH or Bull run is not important for me.

I may not know your reason why you don't hold Bitcoin during all time high (ATH) and why you don't care about bull run, if i may ask have you being doing it before, has it favored you, if it has then no problem but bull run and ATH are period most people pull out their money and then after dip they invest again. Morever, what you just said I don't know what strategy is that though everybody has there own strategy but there are some strategy that are boring and risky.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How active can a newbie be daily? on: May 23, 2024, 06:29:43 AM
I greet you all
You know when you come to a forum like this you need to first know the do's and the don'ts, the rules and regulations, and most especially how to grow, in life we all want growth to some certain extent the same thing applies to this forum, I ask most of my friends here how can a newbie grow on this forum, they all keep saying, if you want to grow you need to be active on the forum,

My question is what does it mean to be active on the forum,
How many quality Posts can someone make daily before he or she can be considered active on this forum, sorry I ask a lot of questions so u can learn too.

I think this question has been ask several times and answers has been given to it anyway this is beginners and help board. However, being active on the forum won't determine your growth here because you can be active and yet doing other things that are not relevant or things that won't help you grow so being active doesn't guarantee your growth unless whenever you are active you always read threads thoroughly and carefully only then can you grow and for the number post a newbie will make, in addition to what they have said so far there is no limit to a post newbie is suppose to make, they can make as many as possible.
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i make some coins that wort something? ??? on: May 22, 2024, 08:57:54 PM
Well I don't think being a newbie will limit you from earning something like coins and you earning something depend  on how fast you can assimilate or understand that particular thing. Just calm down and learn don't always be in a hast before you run into trouble. Morever just like some of my colleague said, you can do airdrop to get coin if you don't have money to buy coin but before you do all these try to have a basic understanding of how it works.
35  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The harsh policies facing bitcoiners in Nigeria. on: May 22, 2024, 12:50:55 PM

We Nigerians are blessed with lots of natural resources, Human capitals and others things that can bring about an economic growth to a country, maybe that's why we are nick named the  African giant,  but the giant in us is not giant enough to bring our people out of poverty.

Outside the natural resources Nigeria is also blessed with intelligent and hardworking youths , which have taken advantage of the technological influence of digital assets to invest and make profits out of it,  even when our government is busy making rules and regulations against these crypto assets ,

Today many youth that seeks financial freedom fall back to investing in Bitcoin, because to me it is the only investment that if you Hodl for a long time can actually lift you from poverty,

According to the research I did, Naira manipulation is the reason behind these harsh policies directed against digital assets such as Bitcoin,  but the question we are to ask ourselves is that, is Bitcoin really the reason for naira manipulation?
We all know how our government spend alot of money on governance and also how some selfish public office holders embezzle public funds without being prosecuted.

My question is what devalues or manipulates the naira ?
Is it investing in Bitcoin or Embezzle of public funds for selfish purposes.

Bitcoin has helped in minimising crime rate in the country because most youths have fully taken advantage in investing in Bitcoin and have gained financial freedom thereby no longer on the street looking for crimes to commit, so I see the government making all this policies as been an enemy to the development of the Nigerian youths on this crypto space,

To me I don't think Bitcoin is the reason for naira manipulation and if you ask yourself na only Naija dey use Bitcoin, abi na only Naija dey trade the answer na NO. The shege wey we dey see for our note or currency no be Bitcoin but our government. Morever, Bitcoin no be today e start to dey exist and i believe long ago Naija people been dey use Bitcoin and people been dey trade as well. That time wey $1 dollar been dey equivalent to 100 abi 150 naira no be human being been dey lead us and Bitcoin no dey that time, off cause na human being been dey lead and Bitcoin been dey also, so why this set of people no fit do same thing for the country. But make we no dey discourage Sha, make we just dey push dey go because time dey come when them go tire.
36  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Social media account as KYC requirement? (2) on: May 22, 2024, 12:36:56 PM
This may really sound funny but trust me it's not because this is total madness sorry to say. Why would the government leave their major responsibility to fight something that is not necessary something that is not worth it, let me just believe that this is one na intial gra gra. People dey complain of hunger, fuel scarcity which is causing the increase in price, scarcity of cement and many other yet our government are out there busy doing what they know will affect her citizens. Morever if exchange should also start demanding for this social media handle that won't be funny but I know that any exchange that is looking for customer and popularity won't try such thing.

39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier league finalist on: May 19, 2024, 12:39:47 PM
Why not give your own opinion on the main English Premier League thread instead of creating new topic.

I am not concerned about who would win but who imwoukd win the league in this season. Manchester City would win the league this season. The club would win today even if Arsenal won.

I chose not to make any opinion first, I want people to make their opinion before I can make mine. The way you sound, it's like you are a City fan ooo lol, am also a City fan but that doesn't mean I will just come here and tell people that City will win the league this is football anything can happen, them winning the league is not that certain but if you think is certain you can play them with all your savings.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Premier league finalist on: May 19, 2024, 10:14:08 AM
Concerning today's premier league match. Man City vs Westham and Arsenal vs Evertoon, did you think any of these two finalist will lose match today? Checking Man City last 5 matches with Westham, Man City win 4 and draw 1 while Arsenal win 4 and loss 1. And Evertoon has won 4 of their last 5 matches which means they are inform and Arsenal has also won 5 of their last 5 game they are also inform. However, somehow I feel this Arsenal game is going to be a big game today.

What did you guys think?
